Up for sale is this very clean 2006 Infiniti G35X with the sport package. This vehicle is immaculate and
has a Blue Metallic exterior
with black leather interior. The leather seats are in nice condition
and are also heated. This is a
very rare option to find in these cars. This G35 just turned 76k
miles (which is nothing for these cars) and it runs and drives
fantastically. This
is
a really nice, super clean, well maintained car and probably the
cleanest and most well optioned Infiniti on ebay. This vehicle has the
Sport Package, which consits of the upgraded larger alloy wheels, the sport front bumper with louver, and the interior is different as well.
This
vehicle was very well taken cared of and it shows. This vehicle needs
nothing but a new caring owner and a new home. The previous owner never
smoked in this car and the vehicle was always garaged kept by the
middle-aged couple. The
vehicle was also just fully detailed after I took these pictures, so it looks a lot cleaner now and its
ready for its next owner to love it the same way the previous owner
did.
This G35 is
loaded up with every possible option that
could
have been ordered. It has the sport package, leather heated seats, glass moonroof, CD player, fog lamps, on board computer,
steering wheel controls, ICE COLD AC, digital instrument panel,
upgraded alloy wheels, power windows, power locks, power mirrors,
remote keyless entry, alarm, traction control, and sooo much
more. This Infiniti comes
with
the original Infiniti key with the remote fob. We also
have all the original owners manuals and booklets, the unused spare tire and jack, and the complete
tool kit as well. Its all here! This vehicle was
very well cared for and it shows. The
maintenance all appears to be current and the vehicle is reliable and
runs like a dream. The car has nice
matching tires all
around with a good amount of tread remaining. The previous owner just
installed a brand new battery as well. We have
driven it 500 miles and
it seems to be running
and driving 100%. We changed all the motor
and transmission fluids and the vehicle has good brakes, good rotors,
and
new windshield wiper blades. The
exterior of the vehicle is super clean. The body panels are all perfect
and the paintwork in perfect shape. The
paint is glossy and the vehicle looks like its only a couple of years
old. The exterior is in above average condition. There is no real flaws to point out on the exterior at all. Its
just a great vehicle and its looks fantastic. The paint and all body
panels are straight and in great overall shape. There may be a small blemish here or there from avegage use but nothing that takes away from the vehicle. The
interior
of the vehicle is super clean. The seats are in great condition
and the
leather is supple and clean. The dash and door panels are also in perfect
condition and
clean. All the trimmings and other interior trims are in
perfect condition. The interior is in fantastic condition in my
opinion. The interior was just completly detailed
recently! There is nothing to pick on with this car. It looks 100%
better then it does in the photos. This car
is being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or

2025 Infiniti QX60 ditches V6, gains VC-turbo
Fri, Jul 19 2024The 2025 Infiniti QX60 will ditch its long-running VQ-series V6 in favor of Infiniti's variable-compression turbo engine. There's news beyond the powertrain overhaul too as the 2025 model sees some equipment upgrades and a new Black Edition. The blackout package is not new to Infiniti, but it's a first for this QX60. Let's start under the hood. With 268 horsepower and 286 pound-feet of torque, the VC-T four-cylinder gives up 22 horses in exchange for 16 lb-ft of torque. That's a bit of a side-grade rather than an upgrade, perhaps, but the new four-cylinder delivers better fuel economy, making the whole pill a bit easier to swallow. The FWD model will return 22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway and 24 mpg combined, the EPA says (vs. 21/26/23 with the V6) while the AWD model improves to 22 mpg city, 27 mpg highway and 24 mpg combined (from 20/25/22). That's a 10% bump in city mileage vs. the V6 — not earth-shattering, but not bad, either. And we know what you're thinking, but fear not; this doesn't mean the QX60 is now saddled with a CVT. The nine-speed auto carries over and yes, it can still pull 6,000 pounds with AWD and the tow package. For 2025, all QX60s get a new fob with an optional automatic lock/unlock feature. The Black Edition (see the gallery above) will be available on Luxe models and includes the gloss black wheels, grille surround, roof rails and exterior badges; illuminated front and rear kickplates; "radiant" grille badge; welcome lighting and a black headliner. The base price of the Pure model is up just $550 from 2024, however the FWD variant of the Autograph has been dropped, making it $4,300 more expensive to get into the trim. However, the AWD variant only increases by $50. Here's pricing information for the entire 2025 QX60 lineup with front-wheel drive (including destination). Infiniti Q50 steer-by-wire system took 10 years to develop [w/video]
Tue, 03 Dec 2013Infiniti's Direct Adaptive Steering (DAS) is quite a novelty - the system employs no physical connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels under normal circumstances and instead relies on a computer, clutch and steering-angle actuator to guide vehicles down the road with input from the driver.
In our First Drive review of a 2014 Infiniti Q50 equipped with the system, we weren't overly impressed by the artificial feedback. But we can't help but be impressed with how long Infiniti spent on its development: a full 10 years, according to Autoline Daily in the video report below. A staggering 70 percent of the research and development time spent on DAS was devoted to getting the steering feel right, and unfortunately, our first impression suggests their results still leave something to be desired, as we found it lacked the sporty feeling a sport sedan should have.
The weight of DAS is comparable to that of a conventional steering system due to its complexity. For example, three ECUs are used in the first-generation DAS system to ensure there's never a loss of steering, but Infiniti is refining the technology and is working to simplify it to reduce weight. One day Infiniti hopes that only one ECU will be needed to control DAS. We just hope it doesn't take the Japanese automaker another ten years to get the steering feel right.
