2010 Graphite Platinum Supercharged Infiniti G37X Sedan

4/20/2011 “The most impressively upgraded G37X Sedan that has been built in the US." -Nissan Sport Magazine

Custom install of the Stillen Supercharger kit. In addition to it being setup with a 8 psi pulley, we strapped on a full Fast Intentions exhaust system with High Flo cats and custom tuned the A/F & timing maps with UpRev's Osirus Software.

Dyno Tuned at 411 WHP on a Mustang Dyno.

We increased oil cooling by increasing capacity installing an AAM oil pan spacer. Our signature RDZ thermostatically controlled oil cooling sandwich plate setup and a 16 row cooler reduces heat even further along through a Performance Racing Radiator and has Mishimoto Black Silicone Hose kit.

The Transmission has been upgraded with a performance valve body and torque converter and finished with a Transmission cooler.

We also carefully STUFFED the wheel wells with a set of 19" Breytons to allow for the 14" 4 piston AKEBONO brake system fed by stainless steel brake lines. Oh it stops! even faster then it goes.

This G37x Rides on BC Racing Coilovers with upper front adjustable control arms and adjustable camber arms in the rear.

Hotchkis AWD Sport Sway Bars.

It has a Custom Midnight front grill insert and a custom rear deck spoiler.

A real beauty with 22400 miles on it.

After this project was completed it was featured in Nissan Sport Magazine Issue number 23 in the Behind the wheel section.

over $40,000 of upgrades invested in this G37X.

MotorWeek revisits 1990 Infiniti Q45

Sat, Aug 8 2015

With the one-two punch of the Lexus LS 400 and Infiniti Q45 in the early '90s, Japanese automakers started taking the fight directly to the established V8-powered German flagships on American roads. Here, we get MotorWeek's take on the latter and probably lesser known of those luxury sedans. While not so impressive today, the Q45's 4.5-liter V8 with 278 horsepower and 292 pound-feet of torque was pretty good by the contemporary standards. The big sedan was also offered with an optional all-wheel steering system that made the model quite a capable handler. The rear end even stepped out a just little during MotorWeek's slalom. Unfortunately, styling is very polarizing with these early sedans. Where the early LS looks planted with its big, chunky lines on the outside, the Infiniti is a bit more delicate. The design just doesn't scream about being a flagship sedan. The interior doesn't help sell the car as the top of luxury, either. While MotorWeek likes some of the amenities inside, there are complains about the reused switches from the Nissan Maxima and the extensive use of plastic, rather than wood. With Infiniti now having its sights on the global premium market and soon entering the compact segment, it's fascinating to see the very roots of the brand.

Infiniti boss ices plan for EV

Tue, 04 Jun 2013

Infiniti President Johan de Nysschen has postponed plans for an electric vehicle in order to focus on high-volume models. Automotive News reports de Nysschen is attempting to be realistic about Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn's goal of nearly tripling Infiniti global sales from 170,000 units last year to 500,000 by March 31, 2017, saying, "500,000 cars by 2017 is an inordinately ambitious challenge." An electric vehicle would likely sell in rather small numbers.
Still, the executive is already making moves to improve Infiniti sales worldwide with new production in both China and England. Meanwhile, the company plans to unveil a new volume compact sedan set to bow in 2015. Meanwhile, de Nysschen is also working on two new models above the company's current M line. Those will borrow styling cues from machines like the Essence Concept, but will be far less exotic, tilting more toward high-performance luxury than true sports car.

Grand Prix of the Americas, Day 1 Recap: a city arose in the fields, and it was good

Sat, 17 Nov 2012

The Circuit of the Americas is the miracle in the fields, the track that no one thought would be finished in time to hold its appointed race. But the Texans got past the turmoil, and even though the heavy machinery was still working on dirt roads as July, come November 18 there was a beautiful, and completed, Formula 1 facility for Travis County to call its own. It was dusty, sure. But it was done, and F1 could come to town.
Infiniti, sponsors of Red Bull Racing, invited Autoblog to watch the first grand prix in America since 2007, and the first GP on a dedicated F1 course since the Phoenix street circuit in 1991. Here's a little recap of what we saw and fount out on day one.
