Stunning 2008 "S" Sedan with rare 6MT transmission!
Purchased from original owner in 2010. This G began its life in Ohio but thankfully spent only 9 months there before becoming a resident of the great state of Georgia.
Finished in pearl white the paint is an 8.5/10. There are no door dings but a few paint chips around the rear bumper. Otherwise the paint sparkles and is absolutely gorgeous. The alloy wheels are in terrific condition barring a few minor bits of curb rash, and are wrapped in Kumho tires that were installed less than 10K miles ago. The rear spoiler adds a nice touch to the rear deck lid.
The interior is like new. The gray leather is in perfect condition and the carpet and mats are in near new condition. A very neat extra touch are the lit door sills.
The premium sound system features a lifetime subscription to Sirius XM
The engine and transmission are amazing. The G Sedan packs so much power and sheer sport, and yet has the practicality of 4 doors and a full size trunk.
The only thing the next owner will have to pay attention to in the near future is servicing the front brakes - a pad replacement.
There are not many 6MT sedans available for sale in this incredible color combination and condition.
This listing is for a close friend who has moved to California and cannot justify having to park the car outside for the first time in its life out there, and paying what could be a mortgage payment for parking. He is reluctantly letting this car go. His passion for it is evident in its remarkable condition. The new owner will not be disappointed. I can assist with shipping, and am willing to deliver within 500 miles from Atlanta, GA for $1.50/mile + travel reimbursement back.
The G is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction before it has run its course. Title is in hand, and the G comes with maintenance records, factory manuals, and both key fobs with brand new batteries.
Thanks for looking, and good luck bidding!

Infiniti brand will finally make its debut in Japan, but not the name
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Nissan left the automotive media scratching its collective head when it announced that its Infiniti luxury brand would be renaming all of its vehicles, with cars wearing the Q designation and CUVs/SUVs wearing the QX badge. So the G Sedan became the Q50, and the G Coupe became the Q60. The QX56, meanwhile, became the QX80, and the FX crossover became the QX70. It is still thoroughly confusing nearly a year later.
Not content to confuse its US customers alone, Nissan will be fiddling with the name of one of its most revered Japanese-market models - the Skyline. Rebadged for the US as the Q50, and before that as the G Sedan/Coupe, the new Skyline will wear an Infiniti badge. What makes this truly confusing, though, is that the car won't be called the Infiniti Skyline, despite its badging. It won't even be called the Nissan Skyline, anymore. It's now just the Skyline. Apparently, Nissan thinks it can capitalize on the Skyline's link to the Japanese royal family (the Skyline was originally a product of Prince Motors, which provided vehicles for the Emperor and his family), by ditching any brand names and referring to it as its own model, according to Automotive News.
Now, confusion aside, there are things about Infiniti badging in Japan that make sense. Badging all the Nissans that eventually become Infinitis as Infinitis in the first place goes a long way to make the brand seem separate and distinct from its parent company. Speaking to AN, Infiniti's executive vice president of global product planning, Andy Palmer, puts it this way, "We have to treat Infiniti, if you will, in the same [way] that Volkswagen treats Audi. It's not a Nissan-plus. Infiniti has to stand head-to-head with any of those German competitors."
MotorWeek revisits 1990 Infiniti Q45
Sat, Aug 8 2015With the one-two punch of the Lexus LS 400 and Infiniti Q45 in the early '90s, Japanese automakers started taking the fight directly to the established V8-powered German flagships on American roads. Here, we get MotorWeek's take on the latter and probably lesser known of those luxury sedans. While not so impressive today, the Q45's 4.5-liter V8 with 278 horsepower and 292 pound-feet of torque was pretty good by the contemporary standards. The big sedan was also offered with an optional all-wheel steering system that made the model quite a capable handler. The rear end even stepped out a just little during MotorWeek's slalom. Unfortunately, styling is very polarizing with these early sedans. Where the early LS looks planted with its big, chunky lines on the outside, the Infiniti is a bit more delicate. The design just doesn't scream about being a flagship sedan. The interior doesn't help sell the car as the top of luxury, either. While MotorWeek likes some of the amenities inside, there are complains about the reused switches from the Nissan Maxima and the extensive use of plastic, rather than wood. With Infiniti now having its sights on the global premium market and soon entering the compact segment, it's fascinating to see the very roots of the brand.
2014 Infiniti QX60 Hybrid
Thu, 29 May 2014Infiniti launched its seven-passenger JX crossover for the 2013 model year with the automaker's familiar 3.5-liter V6 as standard equipment. For 2014, the model was renamed the QX60, and a new variant packing a gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain joined the lineup. (For those interested in the family lineage, the new arrival is a mechanical twin to the Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid, which we took for a Quick Spin last year).
Hidden beneath the hood of the QX60 Hybrid is a supercharged, 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine, rated at 230 horsepower and 243 pound-feet of torque. The combustion engine is supplemented by a 15-kilowatt electric motor, fed by a small lithium-ion battery back (hidden under the rear cargo floor), which adds 20 hp and 29 lb-ft of torque to the mix. Added up, Infiniti rates the total system power at 250 hp and 243 lb-ft - numbers that fall just short of its combustion sibling (the 3.5-liter V6 in the QX60 is rated at 265 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque). The only gearbox is a continuously variable transmission that drives either the front or all four wheels, depending on what the buyer specs.
The 2014 QX60 Hybrid AWD starts at $46,500 (the green model commands a $3,000 premium over the gas-only model). A long list of factory options such as Roof Rails ($495), Theater package ($1,700), Deluxe Technology package ($6,050), illuminated kick plates ($440) and a Hybrid Premium package ($4,600) bumped our as-tested price to a healthy $60,780, including $995 for destination.
