I’m offering my 2006 black obsidian Infiniti G35 coupe up for sale. I love this car and am bummed to be letting it go, but I’m in store for a change, so it’s time to part ways. This car is fully loaded with every factory option except navigation (it has the sport-tuned suspension package with 19-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels, premium package with keyless ignition, and the aero package).

I am the second owner of this car, and I’ve had it since ~35k miles. In that time it has spent 2 years in Florida and 3 in Michigan. It currently has on its summer tires, Kumho
Ecsta LE Sports. In the winter I swap out to Bridgestone Blizzaks (WS-50 in front and WS-70 in rear) which perform phenomenally in the snow! I’m including the winter wheels/tires in this auction.

I have meticulously cared for this car inside and out. Always hand washed, all scheduled maintenance performed at the Infiniti dealership with documentation included. The title on it is clean and clear, it’s never been in an accident, from a non-smoker, and most of the miles are highway. There are no rips or tears in the seats like you’ll find with many, and the interior is in excellent shape.

It does have a few tasteful modifications:

- 35% tint on rear and side windows
- tinted clear corners
- tail light overlays
- aftermarket grille
- painted brake calipers
- LED halos in stock headlights (I disconnected them, but you may reconnect them if you’d like)
- AEM cold air intake

These modifications can be easily removed to return the car to stock if preferred, and I’m including the stock grille and intake as well.

Just recently had a mileage tune-up, has a new battery (a few weeks old), new rear brakes, new summer tires, new winter tires, and the aluminum wheels were just restored and are nearly perfect. No mechanical issues, and it runs beautifully. As you can see from the photos, the paint is in overall amazing condition, but there is some hologramming in certain angles of light, and there are a few spots that could use a little TLC: a couple tiny tiny dents, small clear coat chipping, bubbling of clear coat in one panel, and a little shop-overspray in a couple areas that could easily be spot-repaired (see pictures, zoomed in to show detail), and are overall pretty unnoticeable. There are two windshield chips that were repaired by Safelite. The car also whistles a bit, but that's normal for this age. Other than those minor issues, it's golden.

So in summary, the winner of this auction receives: car w/summer wheels, winter wheels, extra factory grille and intake, + 3 key FOBs. The mileage may go up only slightly if it's test-driven. I would be happy to assist in shipping at the buyer's expense if you don't intend to pick the vehicle up.

No reserve. Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have any questions!

Infiniti QX30 Concept teased ahead of Geneva reveal

Thu, Feb 5 2015

Nearly a year and a half after Infiniti unveiled the first Q30 Concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, the company is preparing to unveil a high-riding version of the concept, wearing the QX30 moniker, ahead of next month's Geneva Motor Show. While we've yet to receive any details on what to expect of the new QX30 Concept, Infiniti has issued a single teaser image of the car's shapely backside, revealing a pair of trapezoidal exhausts that have been integrated into the rear bumper. That bumper sits particularly high to accommodate what looks to be a small hatch with a prominent space between the slim ribbons of the LED taillights. Similarities to the Q30 hatch, meanwhile, are obvious. The taillights are similarly shaped, as is the tailgate and the integration of the dual exhausts (although they are shaped differently on the QX30). Of course, as soon as Infiniti bothers to release the full and complete details for its upcoming concept, we'll be sure to relay those on to you. Until then, have a peek at both the Q30 and the QX30 and let us know what you think in Comments. Infiniti gears up for premiere of QX30 Concept in Geneva Hong Kong – Infiniti will take the covers off the QX30 Concept at the Geneva International Motor Show next month. The QX30 Concept is the Infiniti design vision which will inspire a new premium compact crossover targeted at a new generation of premium customers. Set to be revealed at Infiniti's press conference, scheduled for 14:30 on 3 March in Geneva, the QX30 Concept aims to reignite the premium compact segment with a distinctive approach to design that looks beyond the practicality and conformity expected of the segment. The potential customers for such a concept are searching for a product to suit their 'urban week and get-away weekend' lifestyle and the QX30's compact footprint matches that. Combining the sleek lines of a coupe with the rugged looks and commanding seating position of a crossover, the QX30 Concept foreshadows an urban explorer which is equally at home in the city as it is on the open road.

Race Recap: 2013 Bahrain Grand Prix follows the template of this year and last [spoilers]

Mon, 22 Apr 2013

The sand, the wind, the penalties, the contact and the one crash - all of them collided to make the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix a surprise affair from day to day and lap to lap. Oh, and did we mention the tires? Pirelli made a last-minute swap after the amusement park ride that the Chinese Grand Prix turned into with the soft compound tire, and brought medium and hard compounds to the desert. That didn't stop things from falling apart for some teams - literally - and that didn't stop the one team that seems to love the hard compound Pirelli tire.

Next Infiniti FX to gain interior volume

Tue, 03 Sep 2013

The Infiniti FX, soon to be renamed QX70 thanks to the Japanese brand's convoluted naming scheme, is currently in the midst of its second-generation. And while we like the compact, sporty crossover's driving character a lot, it lacks the "utility" part of the CUV moniker. That lack of cabin space will be addressed in the future, though.
Automotive News recently sat down with Nissan's global design boss, Shiro Nakamura, to talk about the future of what he called "the icon of Infiniti." And while Nakamura-san admitted the FX/QX70's worth to the brand, its sales have long been something of a disappointment. "Exterior and styling-wise, it's very strong as an icon. But to be honest, its sales volume has not been as big as we wanted," a reality Nakamura believes is due largely to its tight cabin relative to its competition.
Finding the right balance might be difficult, though. The FX/QX70 is selling extremely well in both China and Russia, according to Nakamura, because of its looks. Altering that style in order to increase interior space risks alienating a new and important group of buyers for Infiniti. The designer put it best when he told AN, " It is selling well in China and Russia because it stands out. So we want to maintain that striking look." As it stands, we'll likely be living with the current vehicle for a few more years - AN doesn't expect the third-generation of the FX/QX70 to arrive until 2015 or 2016.
