2003 Infiniti G35 Base Coupe 2-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
South Bend, Indiana, United States
134,500 approximate miles. This car spent most of it's life in Houston, Texas. It has only been on the road here in lovely South Bend for 400 miles or so. Just had a major service done with Gurley Leep Nissan (December 2013) so I have a good idea what is good and bad about this car. First the good parts. It is a very, very fast car that handles like a dream. Documented service from Gurley Leep includes: Synthetic oil change, brand new windshield, side window tint, four wheel alignment, two new rear tires, replaced spark plugs, replaced air filter, replacement of both valve cover gaskets, replaced crankcase rear main seal, performed fuel/air induction system service, temperature sensor replaced, replaced thermostat and gasket, power steering fluid flushed and replaced, rear differential service, replaced rear brake pads and transmission fluid exchange service. A total of $4,000+ of service. I also added a $1,000 Kenwood Stereo at Best Buy. It is very nice. $5,000 worth of service and add ons. It rides like a bat out of hell. Now the bad parts. When I bought my new car just recently, Gurley Leep told me that this vehicle has had an accident. It is a clear title, but it has been in a wreck. I don't have any other details than that. It needs to have a Steering Angle Sensor replaced. Cost to replace this part is $816. Without this part, the traction control in the car does not work. While this does not affect performance in my opinion, it might be something you want to consider. The inside of the car is kinda rough. The seats, while comfy, have tears. There is a small dent on the hood. You can't really see it in the pictures, but if you are walking towards the car at the right angle you can definitely see it. There is also some trim inside the vehicle that is coming off. The power locks for the doors do not work, and this is a real pain in the ass. Once you get used to power locks, reaching over to lock the passenger door is just too much to handle sometimes. Just needs some TLC. Because of the mileage on the car, I want to be clear that I am selling the car AS IS. I have only used it as second vehicle. I have done my best to give you an idea of what is needed, but the Gurley Leep Nissan information is your best bet. (I have included pictures that show their thoughts on the vehicles condition, what needed to be done and what WAS done. Overall I think this vehicle is a great deal.

Infiniti Q30 goes full monty before Frankfurt
Tue, Jul 21 2015Infiniti is finally tearing off the camouflage and showing the world what the Q30 luxury hatchback actually looks like. Set to make a full debut Frankfurt Motor Show on September 15, the five-door marks the entry of the Japanese premium brand into the compact hatch ranks. The company's designers did a fantastic job of bringing the major elements from 2013's concept to the street, though. Like the earlier design, the production Q30 wears Infiniti's rounded rectangle grille and a chrome strip along the edge of the hood. The headlights are also left squinting from the concept. The only major change to the front end is an adjustment to the lower air dam to make it a little more realistic for production. Sadly, Infiniti is only providing this single front three-quarters perspective on the upcoming five-door for now, but check out the C-pillar in the background to spot the similarly pointed design there, as well. The changes are actually more noticeable when comparing the Q30 with its platform-mate, the QX30 compact crossover concept. The hatchback noticeably softens many of the CUVs swoopy lines to be a bit more mainstream. This is especially true along the front where the big air intakes from the QX are made significantly smaller. Production of the Q30 is slated to start in Sunderland, England, by the end of the year. They should actually arrive in showrooms there before the calendar runs out. Still, we're looking forward to Frankfurt for a more complete view of Infiniti's little luxury hatchback. Infiniti spruces up Q70L Bespoke Edition for Shanghai [w/video]
Tue, Apr 21 2015"Luxury" is a relative term. Take the Infiniti Q70, for instance, which most of us would find plenty luxurious. But some buyers – in China especially – wanted more, so Infiniti stretched it out into the Q70L. And now it's revealed the even more luxurious Q70L Bespoke Edition. Revealed for the first time at the Shanghai Motor Show down the coast from the company's global headquarters in Hong Kong, the Infiniti Q70L Bespoke Edition is designed to "fill the gap between the current interiors in production cars and luscious interiors of Infiniti's concept cars." That's been materialized through a quilted white leather cabin space with four individual seats hewn "by meticulous craftsmanship and three-dimensional textures." It all looks pretty swank to us, but not the kind of space you'd want to put your kids in with their juice boxes, crayons and dirty soccer uniforms. Check it out in the video clip, high-res images and press release below. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Apr. 19, 2015 Infiniti unveils Q70L Bespoke Edition at Auto Shanghai; joins Q60 Concept and Q80 Inspiration in show debut - Infiniti Q70L Bespoke Edition revealed with concept-car inspired interior - Q80 Inspiration and Q60 Concept vehicles also make China premieres - Infiniti design, plus Global and China growth, highlighted Hong Kong/Shanghai – Infiniti today took the covers off its Infiniti Q70L Bespoke Edition at Auto Shanghai 2015, showcasing its concept car-inspired interior for the first time in front of the predominantly Chinese crowd. The special version of the production Q70L, with a 5.9-inch (150 mm) longer wheelbase, features four luxurious seats wrapped in rich white quilted leather. This exploration is meant to fill the gap between the current interiors in production cars and luscious interiors of Infiniti's concept cars. Shaped by meticulous craftsmanship and three-dimensional textures, the cabin of the Q70L Bespoke Edition has been transformed into a cossetting space, hinting at how the artistry of Infiniti's concept cars can become reality. The production model of the Infiniti Q70, and two more Infiniti concepts – the Q80 Inspiration and Q60 Concept – were also making Auto Shanghai debuts.
The Infiniti QX80 Monograph concept is fully revealed ahead of New York
Fri, Apr 7 2017The big Infiniti QX80, the largest SUV in the company's range and related to the Nissan Patrol sold around the world, is frankly in need of a facelift. The last time the big lug went under the knife was in 2014, and it was a pretty mild nip and tuck. The aging SUV was never much of a looker anyways, although it is certainly distinct. The Monograph concept, which is coming to the New York Auto Show next week, is a preview of where the QX80 is headed. And as we saw in the teaser last week, this styling direction is an improvement. The headlights migrate higher on the front fascia, making the thing look a little less like a sad porpoise and more like a tech-heavy SUV with serious presence. Some of this is simply concept car fantasy, sure – note the lack of mirrors, a favorite concept car trope that'll be replaced by real mirrors for production. But as Infiniti says, the concept "illustrates how the design of INFINITI's QX80 could evolve". Translation: expect the general shape and overall styling to make it to a production vehicle, unless somehow this concept gets roundly panned at the show. Since it seems to be an inarguable improvement over the current vehicle, the inevitable march towards production seems assured.
