This is one of those RARE OPPORTUNITIES for you to obtain an ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 2004 "ONE OWNER" Infiniti FX35 Crossover premium Japanese engineered ALL WHEEL DRIVE motorcar. This FX was purchased new for my wife in early 2004 and has been adult (54) lady driven since it left the Infiniti dealerships showroom floor. It possess’s a very low original mileage of 64,432 and has been climate control garage kept since new. The vehicle has always had superior synthetic motor oil combined with a K&N oil filter installed from the first periodic oil change combined with the proceeding scheduled maintenance changes. 93 Octane premium fuel has always been used since new with frequent fuel injection cleaner additives added during each third fill up. It has a lifetime K&N air filter installed which significantly improved fuel mileage and performance. This FX ABSOLUTELY RUNS, DRIVES, SHIFTS, AND PERFORMS FLAWLESSLY with all components electrical and mechanical operating "as new". All the original dealer delivery paperwork is still intact including but not limited to the original window sticker, owners manual, warranty booklet, spare keys and remote fob, etc., etc.. Every three months the car has been waxed with Meguiar’s 2.0 Tech wax and retains a phenomenal shine clearly evidenced by the images shown. There is ABSOLUTELY NO DOOR DINGS, DENTS, OR SCRATCHES on the entire body and it still retains ALL of it’s original factory Japanese applied paint. The interior of the car is immaculate, again clearly evidenced by the images shown, it has never been smoked in and pretty much still smells like a new car inside. New Goodyear tires have recently been installed and have less than 1,000 miles on them. The 20" chrome plated wheels have some minor "swelling" near the outer bead due to the normal corrosion process on numerous wheels however it is not noticeable at normal viewing distance plus the front bumper cover has some very minute chips again not noticeable until viewed close up. A complete set of factory Infiniti dark graphite floor mats are included to complement the two tone Willow and Black interior if so desired. The stunning Diamond Graphite color is one that adds a lot of elegance to an already timeless body design that literally set the automotive industry on edge when this series of FX’s were introduced. As all of you Infiniti aficionado’s know this body design is much more aesthetically appealing that the proceeding FX series with the elongated fronts combined with the "fish mouth" look and the dime store plastic chrome side vents. This circa of FX’s are destined to become a classic and when driven due to it’s very futuristic and unique design, comments are still made asking "Is that a new car?". An equivalent new comparable Infiniti today will cost you north of 50K however this one can be had for much, much less and a realistic reserve has been set. A free and clear Missouri title is available to the purchaser and any shipping or transportation needs will be gladly accommodated. Please feel free to email with any questions you may have. Thank you and good luck.

2014 Infiniti Q50S

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Ten years ago, nearly to the day, I took delivery of a brand-new 2004 Infiniti G35 6MT. The sporty rear-wheel drive sedan, equipped with its throaty 260-horsepower V6, slick manual gearbox and limited-slip differential replaced my 2001 BMW 330i because the Japanese competitor touted a product that was roomier, better equipped, quicker and lower priced. The G35 trumped the German in nearly every measurable category - at least on paper.
The 2014 Infiniti Q50 is the direct descendant, albeit two generations later, of the car I owned a decade ago. It is dimensionally about the same size, but it has gained more than 300 pounds of mass thanks to numerous safety upgrades and technical innovations. The additional weight is largely dismissed by a larger and more efficient powerplant that delivers an additional 68 horsepower, a welcome arrival, but the manual gearbox that charmed enthusiasts has been pushed out of the picture by a mandatory seven-speed automatic transmission.
As it has in the past, Infiniti touts its all-new Q50 as a luxury sport sedan worthy of the title. Decades ago, impressive performance statistics may have sealed the deal. Yet there is much more to the assignment today, as the model must offer premium appointments, sophistication and engaging driving dynamics if it's going to entice and capture the next-generation of young, premium buyers - much like the G35 did for me ten years ago.

2015 Infiniti Q70L

Tue, 02 Sep 2014

A quick look at a scatter plot that charts rear legroom against luxury sedan MSRPs reveals a dearth of spacious bargains - few, if any, luxury sedans offer exceptionally spacious rear accommodations at a relatively low starting price. To fill the vacuum, Infiniti has made its Q70 available in a Q70L variant - in English, long wheelbase - for 2015.
The artist formerly known as the Infiniti M has been available in stretched-out form in the Chinese market for two years, and the US introduction is accompanied by several updates that include slightly reworked styling cues, and refinements to the drivetrain and chassis. The Q70L's wheelbase extends 5.9 inches (with a commensurate expansion of knee room), while overall length increases to 202 inches, a 7.3-inch bump. Powertrain options include a 3.7-liter V6 which produces 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque (starting at $51,350), or a 5.6-liter V8 that yields 420 hp and 417 lb-ft (and climbs to $64,550). The long-wheelbase treatment adds $1,500 to Q70 MSRPs. Not surprisingly, the Hybrid version is not available with the L treatment.
Up to three Q70L rear passengers are treated to reading lamps, a 12-volt power outlet, rear door close assist, and available heated seats. Unlike its Far Eastern counterpart (and competitors like the $61,500 Hyundai Equus), the US-spec Q70L's rear seats don't recline. Bummer.

Infiniti G37 to live on in showrooms alongside 2014 Q50

Fri, 19 Jul 2013

Infiniti is preparing to roll out its hotly anticipated 2014 Q50, a car that not only ushers in a new alphanumeric naming strategy, it ostensibly replaces the G37 as the brand's bread-and-butter sport sedan. That will happen, but not in the short-term, as the G37 will continue to be manufactured and sold alongside the Q50, at least for the rest of this year.
Infiniti spokesman Kyle Bazemore has confirmed to Autoblog that a decision is pending on how long to extend the G37 sedan's production run. "We're taking Q50 up a little bit, and that allows us to keep the G Sedan in the lineup... It [Q50] certainly started as a replacement, but it ended up being much more than that." Confusingly, Infiniti has already announced that the Q50 is to start at $37,605 (including $905 destination charge), yet the 2013 G37 is more expensive, starting at $38,255 delivered according to Infiniti's consumer website. Thus, a price drop on the G37 is likely coming in short order.
So why hold on to the older model? With the Q50 launching exclusively with V6 and Hybrid models (a turbo four and diesel are said to be in the cards down the road), Infiniti evidently feels it is risking leaving lower-end sales on the table. "There's a lot of movement with the [BMW] 320i and such, and this allows us a two-tier strategy to compete," says Bazemore. Keeping the G37 on tap at a lower price for fleet sale duty may also serve to protect the Q50 as it establishes itself on the market.
