If you want to buy a classic car that is all ready....... A California unmolested never been in an accident,  original blue plate car from new !!! Here guys and girls is my beautiful pride and joy that is costing me $275.00 per month to keep in storage and I am not driving it.  A huge waste and hence this difficult decision.

All the good .I am third owner ......previous owner was not using car and let it stand outside and old vinyl top became tatty body faded and needed paint  and when he started it up ...bad smoke and was told engine needed complete overhaul.....I have receipts ...........$3900.00.at 79665 miles

I purchased about 6 months after engine was overhauled and it has not used a drop of oil since I got her....... the car which looked wonderful and ran wonderfully smoothly but needed tyres brakes and the interior although it seemed original was tatty and the original wooden steering wheel were not in good shape , so I purchased all new visors and new door panels and I have done an almost complete  " ALL OF THE REST " mechanicals.....I will try and be brief. All repairs   done at a registered Fiat 124 specialist and I have receipts ....All components original to car.Engine Transmission and differential all chrome trim, glass  and lights perfect condition besides chrome bumpers have signs of age and corrosion. Wiring is in unmolested original condition and in perfect working order..rear tailight lenses clear and inside of trunk is in mint condition with matching alloy spare tyre All guages are in perfect order with correct and always nice to have brand new out of the box  Veglia oil press guage fitted

NEW Electronic Ignition System complete......still have the original in perfect condition......I was being anal , thinking no servicing costs ,or worrying about coil, points and timing etc

New Exhaust system and catalytic converter front to rear .$ 1500.00

New tyres $ 600.00

New brakes and rotors with new master cyl and new braided hoses

New rear pinion differential bearing and seal and rear wheel bearings......the differential is now perfect with no whine at any speed !!

New 90 amp alternator....still have the old one in perfect shape......................just making sure and being careful

New uprated starter motor....you never know !! .............still have old one in perfect condition

New propshaft " donut "

New battery

I want to say that none of the above was necessary .I am only trying to make the car perfect....No good when it looks fantastic and then breaks down

I do not want to add any longer as to my expenses but as I say I have receipts for all of the above I am running out of space .The interior of this car is absolutely beautiful with all matching wood trim The transmission is beautiful and fluid and is perfect. The car is fitted with a new soft  cloth. ( double the price of a vinyl top and is in mint condition with no tears or discolorations...The car is always garaged and presents beautifully

I have fitted 1972 bumpers onto the car which makes it look amazing............Have original big heavy old ugly bumpers and lots of new spares and balljoints that I purchased that were not necessary all included

The underneath of this car is like new and has no rust and now the bad.... besides a mark under the passenger door .the rear trunk has become slightly off color to the rest and has a crack in the paint and the front hood is slightly dented .The sides of the car are almost perfect

This is a fantastic way to get a perfect entry into the wonderful world of classic cars at an affordable price

The car drives like a dream and the mileage showing is genuine and recorded on the Pink slip.....No shakes or rattles ,...very smooth, gearbox is the smooth and easy with a light clutch pedal , and any test is WELCOME and I am happy to answer any questions

I can help with delivery if neccessary for a fee

Please bid on this car with confidence , I am a car enthusiast and I looked at lots prior to purchasing this one for myself and this was one of the finer rust free examples of this wonderful little car............ and I did all the work for you already!!!!  I am not a car dealer or trying to sell the car to get another, I have had some fun and now want to give someone else a chance to enjoy all my hard work....See my feedback profile  ! My loss is going to be your gain  Ownership on hand .The cars has just been serviced !

Grand Prix of the Americas, Day 1 Recap: a city arose in the fields, and it was good

Sat, 17 Nov 2012

The Circuit of the Americas is the miracle in the fields, the track that no one thought would be finished in time to hold its appointed race. But the Texans got past the turmoil, and even though the heavy machinery was still working on dirt roads as July, come November 18 there was a beautiful, and completed, Formula 1 facility for Travis County to call its own. It was dusty, sure. But it was done, and F1 could come to town.
Infiniti, sponsors of Red Bull Racing, invited Autoblog to watch the first grand prix in America since 2007, and the first GP on a dedicated F1 course since the Phoenix street circuit in 1991. Here's a little recap of what we saw and fount out on day one.

Infiniti announces pricing for 2014 QX60 and QX70

Tue, 23 Jul 2013

With the exception of the G37, customers walking into Infiniti showrooms this summer are going to see a bunch of different names pop up as the automaker switches to its new Q-for-car and QX-for-crossover/SUV naming convention for 2014. The first of these renamed models are the 2014 QX60 (which replaces the JX) starting at $41,550* and the 2014 QX70 (which replaces the FX) priced at $44,950* (*prices do not include $995 for destination), and both are on sale now.
Compared to the outgoing models, the new QX60 (seen above, click to enlarge) lineup starts $300 more than the outgoing JX models (base and AWD), while pricing for the QX70 will remain the same as the trio of 2013 FX models (FX37, FX37 AWD and FX50). What is still unclear is how much the all-new QX60 Hybrid model will cost or how much option and package pricing will change, if any. Scroll down for more info on the new QX60 and QX70 crossovers.

Autoblog's Matt Davis named Infiniti global product and brand communications director

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

The door that separates automotive journalism and automaker PR swings both ways, and swings often as we see journalists move over to PR and vice versa. This time, however, it's one of ours.
That would be Matt Davis, longtime European correspondent for Autoblog and frequent contributor to numerous other publications including AutoWeek, Edmunds and Esquire. He was co-founder and longtime chairman of the World Car of the Year Awards, and serves on the jury for the International Engine of the Year awards as well. Matt has resided in Milan since 2001, writing for publications around the world in a number of languages, but will now be moving to Hong Kong.
That's where he will be taking up his new position as Global Director of Production and Brand Communications for Infiniti, which relocated its global headquarters to Hong Kong from Japan more than two years ago. In his new capacity, which he officially assumes on July 14, Davis will report directly to Infiniti's general manager of communications Stefan Weinmann.
