2017 Infiniti QX30 price anounced ahead of September launch

The 2017 Infiniti QX30 will start at $30,945 for the base model and will max out at $39,495 for the Sport trim. The oversized hatchback will be available in six different trims: the QX30, QX30 Luxury, QX30 Premium, QX30 Sport, QX30 Luxury AWD, and QX30 Premium AWD. There will also be a 2017 QX30 Reservation Program for buyers interested in getting their hands on the car first. Buyers in the program will be able to choose from a selection of gifts to go along with their new QX30. The QX30 Luxury starts at $33,595, while its AWD variant is $1,800 more. The QX30 Sport, which is front-wheel drive only and is 0.6 inches lower than the rest of the lineup, is priced at $39,495. The QX30 Premium will start at $36,295 with the QX30 Premium AWD commanding an additional $2,400. All trims are powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four that puts out 208 hp and sends power to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. While the QX30 borrows a lot of components from the Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class, it's priced lower than its German counterpart. The Mercedes GLA250 starts at $33,775, while the GLA250 4Matic is priced at $34,775. The QX30 also comes in under the Acura RDX ($36,510), BMW X1 ($34,095), Audi Q3 ($34,625), and the larger Lexus NX 200t ($35,915). 2019 Infiniti QX60 and QX80 introduced with new Limited trim level

The 2019 Infiniti QX60 crossover and 2019 Infiniti QX80 full-size SUV debuted here at the New York Auto Show with new, more luxurious Limited trim levels. They include special wheels and even more luxurious interior touches. On the dark-grilled QX60 Limited, the custom wheels are 20 inches, and on the bigger QX80 they are 22. The half-leather seats on the QX60 are quilted, and the aniline color extends to the armrest and door cards as well. On the QX80, the "Limited" lettering stands out everywhere, from the center console to the seats, which are two-tone, leather and Alcantara. The QX80's dashboard wood trim is matte silver ash, and little trimline-specific details can be seen everywhere. The QX60's engine remains the standard specification 295-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, and the QX80's powerplant is the 5.6-liter V8 with 400 horsepower. Pricing hasn't yet been announced, but the QX60 Limited will be available this summer, and the QX80 Limited can be bought from summer onward. Related Video:

Infiniti expanding lineup by 60% over next five years

Johan de Nysschen had only been at the helm of Infiniti for two years when he left for a position atop Cadillac. But in that time, he indeed left his mark on the brand. Most visibly, there was the drastic Q-ification of the company's vehicle naming strategy, but beyond that were big plans to beef up the Infiniti brand with the goal of making it a fully competitive luxury automaker.
Autoblog spoke with Michael Bartsch, vice president of Infiniti Americas, during Monterey Car Week, and he confirms Infiniti's brand direction is "still exactly as Johan presented it." Over the next five years, the company's portfolio will expand by 60 percent, and that will be aided with additional engine and transmission plants, most notably the recent collaboration with Daimler to build 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines.
Infiniti's lineup will grow to include eight sedans/coupes and five crossovers/SUVs.
