I bought this car in mid-2012 for a little over $2000, and have put less than 2,000 miles on it. (I travel a lot and did a lot of house-sitting in Hawaii and elsewhere.) The car has been run regularly during that time, however, and has been well taken care of. I'm getting rid of it because, as you can tell, I don't really drive it. Mostly I just move it out of the way of the street sweepers once a week. Drives great, no disturbing sounds or mechanical problems. The previous owner fixed it up before selling it to me, even going so far as to reupholster it. Should pass inspection with flying colors. This is a great car that is ready to just pick up and go! It needs a wash and the smog/inspection is due next month. It passed smog with flying colors in September 2012, so no worries there. I included a picture with the ignition turned on so you can see the seatbelt light is the only indicator that activates. Besides being a Japanese luxury car that will probably go and go for another few hundred thousand miles, the best thing about this car is that it comes fully loaded with nearly all the luxuries available in a 1995 Infiniti G20 Touring Edition, and they all still work. Power seat, power sunroof, power mirrors, windows, locks; the works! Getting all that in any car under $3,000 feels pretty good. That's what drew me to buy the car over anything else available at the time, and I always appreciated having those amenities when I drove it. Leather interior was reupholstered just before I bought it.

Nissan looking to expand UK plant to build Infiniti Q30
Thu, 22 Aug 2013With the Infiniti Q30 concept heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show next month and a future premium compact model heading into production at Nissan's Sunderland UK assembly plant, just connecting the dots tells us this new small Infiniti is headed for UK production. Backing this up, Reuters is reporting that Nissan is looking to expand the Sunderland plant by 25,000 square feet, while Automotive News Europe takes it a step further by almost confirming that the Q30 will be built alongside the Nissan Qashqai and Note.
The reports say that Sunderland is already the UK's biggest automotive plant, but the expansion will make it even larger with production capacity expected to rise from the current 500,000 units built each year to more than 550,000. There is no indication if the expansion will bring more jobs to the plant, which already employs around 6,000 people.
Infiniti-Red Bull Racing will seek a fourth title with the RB9 [w/video]

The stability of this year's regulations means that the Infiniti Red Bull RB9 is a seriously honed RB8; however, that's a situation probably no other team would complain about seeing that the RB8 recovered from early stumbles and reliability issues last year to carry Sebastian Vettel to a third consecutive driver's title and the team to a third consecutive constructor's trophy.
The most noteworthy revisions to the car are the partial vanity panel that omits the driver cooling slot, the even narrower rear end - a feature of just about every car launched so far - and purple sidepods to showcase new title sponsor Infiniti. Adrian Newey, perhaps the most feared designer on the pit lane, said the nose and front wing could be changed relatively easily throughout the season, but he wanted to make sure to get the middle of the car - everything from the sidepods, back - as good as possible since they're more difficult to re-engineer. His track record leads us to believe he did just that.

Infiniti Q60 Concept paints a pretty picture of the brand's future
Tue, Jan 13 2015Infiniti's final teaser for the Q60 Concept may have given away the shape of the curvy coupe ahead of its debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, but that's not necessarily such a tragedy for this model because the design has so many subtle touches. The more you look at it, the more cool details and ornate lines you notice. What initially looks fairly simple up front belies a multitude of fascinating details, including the F1-inspired lower air dam and the subtle fin at the tip of the hood. The design around the C-pillar may be complicated but is also attractive thanks to the confluence of design from the rear fender arch, beltline and crescent-shaped cutout in the window. The concept's interior also takes a minimalist approach. It's predominantly covered in cream leather and features sports seats in quilted leather. A mix of Alcantara and carbon fiber trim are able to show off the concept's performance intentions, though. Meanwhile the glass roof makes sitting behind the wheel feel airy and inviting. Underneath, the Q60 Concept's arching hood is the company's conceptual 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 and a seven-speed automatic. Infiniti promises the production of the mill is coming in the next two years. The big question is whether the mix of sharp edges and flowing lines on the Q60 Concept really see production without too much alternation. Infiniti plans to unveil the production version next year.
