Offered for sale is a 2005 Hyundai Sonata GLX V-6. Fully Loaded. Automatic Transmission. 2014 NJ Inspected. One owner. No Accidents. Service history available. High mileage car. Car Runs and Drives Excellent. Clean CARFAX. Exterior has various minor scratches, nicks, scuffs, and other minor imperfections throughout the vehicle. Interior is in great shape with some wear and tear throughout. Electrical accessories seem to operate as they should. Air Conditioning blower fan is tempermental and works when it wants to, this issue should be addressed if you want air conditioning to work properly. Other than that, we did not notice any issues. Engine and Transmission, seem to be in excellent shape. This car will need 2 rear tires in the near future. Please study the pictures carefully. What you see is what you get. Hyundai previews Intrado fuel-cell crossover concept
Tue, 10 Dec 2013We may still be several months off from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, but it's apparently not too early for Hyundai to give us a glimpse at what to expect when the Palexpo's doors open in March.
Called Intrado, Hyundai's new concept car takes the form of a high-riding crossover with styling that takes its cues from the Korean automaker's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language. Designed and engineered in Germany, the concept bears the codename HED-9, a giveaway that it's the ninth concept from Hyundai Europe Design. Inspiration is said to have been drawn from aircraft, with a lightweight form and a name borrowed from the underside of an airplane's wing.
Hyundai isn't saying much more, revealing only the teaser rendering above. But it has indicated that the Intrado concept packs a new hydrogen fuel-cell powertrain that's both smaller and lighter than the one powering the existing ix35 Fuel Cell, which (last we heard) Hyundai was hoping to bring Stateside as part of its Tuscon lineup by 2015.
Hyundai in hot water over suicide-themed commercial
Thu, 25 Apr 2013There's a surprisingly long and storied history of automakers creating suicide-themed advertisements. You'd think the companies and their marketing firms would have figured out by now that such ads always result in a swirl of backlash - see examples from Audi, Citroën, General Motors and Volkswagen, all pasted down below, as proof.
It seems somebody at Hyundai didn't get the message that many people don't find suicide a laughing matter. A video making the rounds on the web that was, according to Hyundai, produced in the UK, depicts a man trying to commit suicide by pumping exhaust fumes into the passenger compartment of his car. As it turns out, the self-assisted death doesn't quite go according to plan.

Hyundai's 2015 Genesis Super Bowl commercial is Dad-approved
Mon, 27 Jan 2014Super Bowl commercials allow advertising and marketing execs the opportunity to let their hair down, have a bit of fun and get silly. That's why Audi's ad features a mutant, CGI-animated dog, GoDaddy's spot features a beefcake Danica Patrick and Kia has recruited Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, from the Matrix films. Hyundai, meanwhile, didn't seem to get the memo.
It's not that its spot is bad, but it does feel a bit boring, playing a lot like Hyundai's non-Super Bowl advertisements - in other words, not something we're going to be talking about next Monday around the water cooler. Called Dad's Sixth Sense, the 30-second clip shows off the 2015 Genesis Sedan and its auto emergency braking system, after showing dad's saving their kids from what we imagine would be fairly painful, and in some cases horrific, accidents (tackling a hot barbecue, anyone?).
