Hyundai's Genesis G90 caught totally uncovered

It seems weird to type "Genesis" without "Hyundai" in front of it – unless we're referring to the band, of course, which we aren't. What we have here is the first car that'll launch under Hyundai's new premium brand, officially called Genesis. This is essentially the replacement for the Equus, and when it reaches the States, it'll be called G90. The G90 clearly makes strong use of Hyundai's "Athletic Elegance" design language, and looks like a more premium version of the existing Genesis sedan. There's a long hood, hexagonal grille, and vertically oriented taillamps that flow down the rear fascia. Judging by these low-res spy shots, we like what we see – even if, from some angles, it looks strangely familiar. Genesis (the brand) launches next month in Hyundai's home market. Following the G90, the Genesis sedan as we currently know it will move to G80 nomenclature, and a midsize, rear-wheel-drive sedan – G70 – will follow. Hyundai Sante Fe gets zombie survival machine treatment for NY Comic-Con

Surviving a zombie invasion isn't easy, and Hyundai takes life-or-undead situations pretty seriously, as made clear by its devotion to creating zombie-annihilating vehicles. Earlier this year, Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead comic series that gave birth to the hit television series of the same name, designed a Zombie Survival Machine around a Hyundai Veloster hatchback.
This year, TWD fan Anson Kuo has conjured up a Santa Fe sports utility vehicle capable of mowing down hoards of zombies with extra room for passengers and supplies. Hyundai says Kuo's design was built by Galpin Auto Sports and will be unveiled at New York Comic-Con on October 10.
"We love Anson Kuo's take on this Santa Fe Zombie Survival Machine - it's creative... and deadly," says Steve Shannon, vice president of marketing for Hyundai Motor America.

Hyundai N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept coming to Frankfurt

Hyundai will be using the Frankfurt Motor Show to tout its N Performance sub-brand and the future possibilities it could create. A purely conceptual extrapolation comes via the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo, which joins the expanding list of carmaker-created superfast racers for Sony's Playstation game. The company's 2016 World Rally Championship entrant will grace the stand, previewing the car Hyundai will use to try to dethrone Volkswagen. It is a completely new racecar based on the next-generation five-door i20, still undergoing testing now but planned for competition at the 2016 Monte Carlo Rally. The RM15 concept shown at the Seoul Motor Show will be the third demonstration of Hyundai's enthusiast intentions. The carmaker says the mid-engined, Veloster-based coupe is about "suggesting how N driver-focused technologies could come into production," but we imagine that won't mean installing a 296-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbo-four where the rear seats are. All three cars are intended to rework perceptions of the South Korean company, which is working to "create striking and pioneering high performance cars" and make "real and emotional connections with customers."
