You Name It, It has it. Every option available is in this car!!! We bought it new. Decided to try a mid size luxury car. Definitely a Super Car. The handling is great. The power is unbelievable. No accidents. No dings, no scratches, nothing. Always serviced at Hyundai dealer. We are in W.V. in the summer and Fort Myers, FL in the winter. This car has never been in the snow. We are going back to a pickup truck, just makes more sense for us. I have attached a photo of the window sticker. It shows every feature. Heated and Cooled drivers seat. All of the others are heated. Back window shade that automatically goes up when in drive and down when in reverse. The backup camera is awesome. Panoramic view lets you can see quite a bit on the sides also, as opposed to just what is directly behind you. One of the features I love is... at night, if your car is locked and you have your keys, there are small spot lights under the outside mirrors that come on. There are no Hyundai emblems on this car, except for the steering wheel. We purchased the genesis emblem for the wheels also. We are constantly complimented and ask what kind of car is this. Most assume Bentley. I have seen this car on lots where they are asking $27-$29,000 with all of the options and in great shape, like ours. If you are looking for a used Genesis with no issues and every feature available, this is it!!! I'm not a pro at the picture taking. Some photos are not "upright". Hyundai-Kia forecasts slowest sales growth in 8 years
Thu, 02 Jan 2014Even with the arrival of the new Hyundai Genesis Sedan (above) and the expected introduction of at least two other new vehicles in 2014, Hyundai-Kia is estimating its sales will only increase by about 4.1 percent this year. Bloomberg has found that figure, which works out to a total of 7.86 million vehicles worldwide, to be lower than average analyst estimates of eight million vehicles. If the automaker is correct, that figure will represent the most sluggish growth for the Korean brands since 2006.
Based on an exchange rate of 1,050 won to the dollar - right now it's trading at anywhere from 1,050 to 1,052 depending on where you look - Hyundai is predicting a 3.8-percent uptick for sales of 4.9 million units, while Kia is expecting a 4.7-percent uptick for sales of 2.96 million units. That exchange rate is predicted to be part of what will hamper sales this year, with a stronger South Korean won making Japanese cars more price-competitive when cross-shopped. It's unclear how Hyundai derived its exchange rate, but 1,050 won to the dollar almost matches the 52-week high for all of 2013.
The company chairman mentioned a "low growth era" in the world economy, and weaker US sales are rumored to at least part of the reason John Krafcik recently vacated the post of Hyundai Motor America CEO, a post that has been filled by executive vice president of sales, David Zuchowski. That unexpected news capped a year in which two top execs resigned over quality issues and recalls and Hyundai agreed to settle a consolidated lawsuit over inflated fuel economy ratings for $395 million.
Hyundai to recall 27,500 Genesis sedans over brake issue
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Following an investigation launched by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration earlier this week, Hyundai will reportedly recall 27,500 Genesis sedans due to braking problems. Roughly 40,000 Genesis sedans from the 2009 model year were originally under investigation, but this official recall affects vehicles from 2009 to 2012.
A Hyundai spokesperson told The New York Times that brake fluid may cause the brake control unit valves to corrode, which reduces braking power. Affected cars will have their brake fluid replaced, and if necessary, will have the control unit replaced, as well.
The original NHTSA investigation was launched after the government agency received 23 complaints from owners citing reduced braking power and increased pedal travel. One incident reportedly resulted in a crash, while another caused a driver to lose control of the car. NHTSA has not officially announced the recall as of this writing.
