Personal Statement: Note this is the $70k Ultimate and not the less expensive Signature version of the Equus. The Signature is a dime a dozen and the Ultimate is more rare and has every feature available. With only 3k miles, you’re virtually getting a brand new car! I’ve been in the automotive business for more than 35 years. This is my personal vehicle – and the first Equus I’ve owned. I’ve owned Mercedes S-Class, Audi A8L, BMW 7 Series, Jaguar XJL and Lexus 460L. This is by far the best bargain in the industry. You have the best of all worlds wrapped up in total economy that will have your friends swearing you paid 6 digits for the car. The air-ride alone will get your attention as soon as you leave your driveway. It just feels expensive. This is a tough color combination to find (White with Beige Interior) and extensive options makes this car really comfortable. It’s been babied – hand washed every week, waxed every month (never a buffer), and in a garage at home and at the office. To sum it up - It’s impressive.
FuFull Options: ABS Brakes, Air – Suspension, AC, Automatic Headlights, Auxiliary - USB Input, Auxiliary Pwr Outlet, Back-Up Camera, Blind Spot Intervention, Bluetooth Connection, Heated and Cooled Front Seat(s), Heated and Cooled Rear Seats, Power Front Seats, Power Reclining Rear Seats, Full Rear Lounger Option, Power Massaging Seats, Heated Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Dual Air Conditioning, Dual Zone A/C, Electrochromic Rearview Mirror, Electronic Stability Control, Engine Immobilizer, Entertainment System, Heated Exterior Mirrors, Automatic Rain Sensing Wipers, Keyless Start, Navigation System, Power Folding Mirrors, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Telescopic and Tilt Steering, Power Tilt/Sliding Sunroof, Power Trunk Release, Power Windows, Rear Defroster, Rear Parking Aid, Rear Power Sunshade, Rear Passenger Power Side Sunshades, Rear Reading Lamps, Rear Seat Heat Ducts, Satellite Radio, Seat Memory, Tire Pressure Monitor System, Traction Control, Universal Garage Door Opener, Chrome Alloy Wheels, Woodgrain Interior Package

Hyundai pushes on with development of delayed i20 WRC
Mon, Apr 13 2015It's a pretty big deal when a major automaker joins a top-flight racing series, and so it was when Hyundai entered the World Rally Championship with the i20 WRC last year. And while delays have postponed the arrival of its replacement, development presses on. For those unfamiliar, the i20 is Hyundai's rival to the likes of the Volkswagen Polo and Ford Fiesta for Asian, European and other overseas markets. The Korean automaker introduced a new version of the i20 late last year, including a new three-door version that was supposed to serve as the basis for the new rally machine, but production delays meant Hyundai couldn't homologate the rally version before the end of this season as originally planned. So instead it will base the new competition machine on the five-door version and aim to launch it in time for the start of next season. "We had hoped to introduce the car later this season but unfortunately an issue with the homologation schedule - related to production of the three-door road version – will delay our programme," said Hyundai Motorsport chief Michel Nandan. "We have therefore opted to continue focus on the five-door version of the New Generation i20 WRC which will compete at Rallye Monte-Carlo next year." In the meantime, as you can see from the photos above, development continues apace. Test driver Kevin Abbring and his co-pilot Sebastian Marshall are being charged with its shakedown, along with Thierry Neuville and Nicolas Gilsoul – the same duo that won the 2014 Rally Germany and which are currently ranked third in the 2015 World Rally Championship after placing second at round two in Sweden. They'll have to make do with the current car for the rest of the season, which continues with the fourth round later this month in Argentina. Hyundai Motorsport Continues New Generation i20 WRC Development - Hyundai Motorsport has recently carried out a four-day test in Spain with an upgraded version of the New Generation i20 WRC - Hyundai Motorsport confirms it will ramp up development of a five-door version of the New Generation i20 car in preparation for a full season of 2016 FIA World Rally Championship - The current Hyundai i20 WRC will run throughout the rest of the 2015 season April 10, 2015 – The Hyundai Motorsport team has recently completed a four-day test of the New Generation i20 WRC car in the Spanish region of Almeria.
2016 Civic, Sonata, Lexus RX, and Altima earn TSP+ from IIHS [w/videos]
Thu, Jan 14 2016The 2016 Honda Civic sedan, Hyundai Sonata, Lexus RX, and Nissan Altima started the year with a bang by earning Top Safety Pick+ honors from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. They join 48 other 2016 model year vehicles that IIHS already tested that received the agency's top safety marks. These four models met the IIHS' latest requirement, scoring the agency's best possible score in all five of its crash tests – front, side, rear, rollover, and the difficult small-overlap – to be eligible for the safety accolade. Hyundai improved the 2016 Sonata's structure after the sedan's production began, so this rating only applied to examples produced after October. To get the TSP+ honor, a vehicle's crash prevention tech needs to earn least two points on the IIHS' scale. The lower Top Safety Pick designation can go to model with a "basic" version of these systems like a front collision warning. The Civic, Sonata, and RX scored the maximum six points to get "superior" scores for their optional crash prevention tech because they avoided collisions at up to 25 miles per hour. The Altima was successful in a 12-mph test, but the system slowed the sedan by 10 mph in the 25-mph test rather than completely stopping it. Therefore, the agency awarded the Nissan five points, which was still a "superior" score. You can watch the small-overlap tests for the Civic, RX, Altima, and Sonata respectively below. Four more vehicles earn the 2016 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award ARLINGTON, Va. — The Honda Civic 4-door, Hyundai Sonata, Lexus RX and Nissan Altima are the latest vehicles to earn the top award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The four vehicles join the 2016 winner's circle just one month after the initial crop of 48 TOP SAFETY PICK+ winners was announced. The requirements for TOP SAFETY PICK+ were tightened for 2016. To qualify, winners must earn good ratings in each of the Institute's five crashworthiness tests and have an available front crash prevention system earning an advanced or superior rating.
Hyundai testing more variants of top-secret commercial van
Tue, 15 Apr 2014The commercial van market in the US is exploding with new products at the moment, with entries from Ford, Ram, Nissan and others. And we are seeing images (again) of Hyundai testing its own van in Europe, as well, though it's not known whether the model will make it to the US. While the company has offered work vehicles overseas in the past, this one appears to be a direct competitor to European vehicles with large bodies and tiny wheels like the Ford Transit and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter.
The latest images show off not just the standard commercial van but also the pickup version, and interior for the first time. According to our spy shooters, Hyundai did not want people to see the inside of the test vehicle, reaching out specifically in an attempt to secure the pictures you see here. It's hard to say what's worth being so secretive about, but that big infotainment screen certainly looks like a nice addition. We still aren't sure whether the Korean company has opted for front- or rear-wheel drive for the model, but the gearshift suggests that it's using a six-speed manual transmission.
The pickup truck version has a cab that looks just like the standard van. Testing this variant suggests that Hyundai is addressing the need for multiple body configurations in the commercial space.
