This car is in perfect condition, as close to brand new as you can get. We never had any animal, small children or smokers in it. There are no scratches, dents, nicks in the paint and the interior is spotless. The only maintenance we have had to do is one oil change. It is a very comfortable ride, with a lumbar support in the driver's seat. We leased this car on July 20, 2012 and will be leaving the country for one year this coming August. We would rather buy out the lease and sell it rather than storing it.

Hyundai reveals more 2015 Genesis details

After we posted the renderings of the 2015 Hyundai Genesis last night, Hyundai issued a full press release revealing some of the details about its next-generation sedan. Set to make its debut at the Detroit Auto Show in a few months, the 2015 Genesis promises to bring a whole new level of styling and technology to the Korean automaker's portfolio.
Hyundai says that the design used on this car is part of its Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 language that we expect to slowly make its way across the entire lineup. Major styling changes include a taller, upright, single-frame grille (think Audi), larger headlights, sharper body lines and the swept-back, couple-like roofline. Except for spy shots, we still have no clue what the interior of the new Genesis will look like, but Hyundai says the sedan will be more intuitive for drivers to interact with. On the Genesis-foretelling HCD-14 Concept, this included a head-up display, as well as eye- and hand-gesture recognition.
For the drivetrain, Hyundai hasn't revealed much, except that the 2015 Genesis will get an all-new HTRAC all-wheel drive system. The sedan should also be better to drive, thanks to a more even weight balance, a stiffer chassis and Advanced Traction Cornering Control (ATCC) electronic suspension. Replacing the electro-hydraulic power steering system in the current model, the new Genesis will get a full-electric, rack-mounted power steering system. Hyundai in trouble for overstating fuel economy numbers at home, too

Hyundai is, understandably, "very confused by the fine and the different results."
The South Korean government is investigating Hyundai and Ssangyong, alleging that the two manufacturers overstated the fuel economy figures on some of their crossovers. But while the initial investigation is being carried out by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, a separate branch of government, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy is supporting the manufacturers' estimates. Hyundai will open up some hydrogen fuel cell patents in Korea

Last year, Tesla made its electric vehicle patents open source. Last month, Toyota did the same with some of its hydrogen fuel cell patents. Now, Hyundai is going to let some Korean companies get access to the automaker's patents as parts of a innovation center project in Gwangju, South Korea. Just Auto reports that about 1,000 "unused patents" belonging to Kia and Hyundai will be made available to participants in a new automotive start-up hub. There will be 12 of these hubs in Korea, not all focused on hydrogen fuel cells. Hyundai said that it will help raise $164 million to help turn Gwangju in a center for eco-friendly industry. Phil Floraday, Hyundai Motor America manager of Midwest Product Public Relations, told AutoblogGreen that, "The main purpose of the patents mentioned in the story will be to nurture small- and medium-sized businesses in the Gwangju area. While we cannot clarify all the patents at this time, we can tell you that they are not entirely focused on FCEV or eco-friendly patents only."
