2013 Hyundai Elantra Gls Sedan 4-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
Plainfield, Illinois, United States
ACCIDENT FREE, CLEAR TITLE. Great deal on this 2013 Hyundai Elantra GLS. I purchased the car brand new and have taken good care of it, always do maintenance on time. Car is still UNDER WARRANTY (remaining ofpower train 10 years/100,000 miles, 5year unlimited miles road assistance) , I am a Realtor and do put a lot of miles on my cars, most of these are highway miles. At 53,000 miles a NEW ENGINE was installed on the car, all covered under warranty and done at the dealership (have all the paperwork) the new engine has only about 10,000 miles and car drives like new. Car is ready for Winter, tires are about 6 months old all-season Goodyear assurance triple tread with a lot of meat left on them, I'm also including the almost new all season heavy duty OEM floor mats, new ceramic front brake pads. Non-smoker, clean in and out. You will not be disappointed, I love this car, drives great and its very fuel efficient, however, I just bought a new SUV since I need more room for the family. - Bluetooth, Satellite Radio, Fog lights, Heated seats, power steering, power windows, alloy wheels, preferred package, rear bumper protector, key less entry alarm. I prefer local pick up but will happily assist with shipping if needed (paid by buyer).

Peter Schreyer designs the future of Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis
Fri, Mar 25 2016Peter Schreyer now leads the design teams at Hyundai, Kia, and the new Genesis brand. He has the difficult task of differentiating the three brands aesthetically, even if they share mechanical components. A new profile about the designer by Bloomberg shows just how much he means to the Korean brands, and it's well worth a read. According to Bloomberg, Schreyer has distinctive ideas for the Korean brands' design. A Kia should look sporty and appeal to young buyers. In contrast, a Hyundai would be for someone who prefers a minimalist design. So far, Genesis is blending those traits for its Athletic Elegance design language. Schreyer went to Kia from Volkswagen Group in 2006, and his mission was to revolutionize the Korean's brand's boring look. He succeeded with sharper, more modern designs for vehicles like the Optima and Sorento that arrived after he took over. He did such a good job there that Hyundai-Kia Motor Group appointed him as its first non-Korean president at the end of 2012. He also now oversees former Lamborghini designer Luc Donckerwolke at the Genesis luxury brand. Bloomberg speaks with industry analysts and other designers to get a better idea of Schreyer's meaning to the company. The piece presents him as an easygoing person who knows exactly how each vehicle should look. If you want to get a better Schreyer and his work at Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis, the story is worth checking out. Related Video:
2014 Hyundai Veloster Turbo R-Spec loses creature comforts, gains sporting equipment [UPDATE]
Thu, 21 Nov 2013Hyundai unveiled the Veloster Turbo R-Spec at the LA Auto Show yesterday, and it's touted as a high-performance model without some of the standard features usually found on the Veloster Turbo, such as proximity-key entry with push-button start, premium gauge cluster, side-repeater mirrors, driver's auto-up window, high-gloss interior trim and heated leather seats.
Like the other three R-Spec models Hyundai has released (Genesis Coupe 2.0T R-Spec, Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec and Genesis 5.0 R-Spec), the Veloster Turbo R-Spec skimps on interior appointments to keep the price down. But Hyundai thinks that people who buy it don't want that equipment anyway, and would rather install aftermarket goodies. The car is priced at $22,110 (including the $810 destination fee), which makes it the least expensive Veloster Turbo model.
The pared-down hatchback's special features include R-Spec-specific sport suspension, retuned steering and a B&M short-shifter for the six-speed manual transmission (the R-Spec isn't offered with an automatic). That's all great, but we can do without the red-accented side skirts and front splitter, which look just as tacky in person as they do in pictures.
Hyundai's second Super Bowl ad is a Nice piece of work
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Yesterday, Hyundai unveiled its Dad's Sixth Sense Super Bowl ad, which showed off the 2015 Genesis Sedan and its auto emergency braking system. While a fine spot, it lacked the pizzaz we expect of a commercial for the big game. Hyundai's second half-minute commercial, however, is more of what we expect of a Super Bowl ad.
Starring The Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki and with a cameo from comedian Richard Lewis, the commercial sees Galecki trying to woo a woman he comes across at a stop light by complimenting her on her Elantra, which just so happens to be what he's driving. Things go hilariously awry from there.
Scroll down for a full look at the video, and let us know how you think it stacks up next to yesterday's Dad's video.
