No Reserve! Xm Radio, Mp3 And Ipod, Cd, All Power Options, Gets Over 40 Mpg's!!! on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale is this Super clean 2012 Hyundai Accent GS Hatchback. This Accent has only 13,000 original miles on it. This
car
looks absolutely great inside and out! It looks as if it has been
gently used. The exterior is Electric Blue and the interior is Satin Black with Grey Accents. Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water
flood and
its being sold with a salvage title. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no major sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. The Hyundai is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any significant amount of water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car might have just been branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any real water damage occured to this vehicle in my opinion. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. The undercarriage shines
like brand new. I have been driving this vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done and its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The tires are in
great shape and have about 70% tread remaining. They are all
matching Hankook tires. This is a very well taken cared of car and
it will last
someone forever. This Accent runs and drives like a new Hyundai would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle with no accident history
in the autocheck report, but I guess thats to be expected from a car that is only one year old.
This Hyundai is
loaded up with all the options. It has XM radio, IPOD and MP3 auxiliary outlets, ECO fuel economy button, traction control, remote keyless entry, power windows, power locks,
cruise control, power mirrors, In-dash CD player, ICE cold AC, Tire
pressure monitoring sensors, and
a very economical 4 cylinder engine. This engine gets over 40MPG's with
no problem. If you put the ECO button on the car will burn hardly any gas, its fantastic! The car comes
with two original Hyundai keys and two remote key fobs as well. We
also have the floor mats, all the owners manuals and booklets that were with the car when it was purchased new, the rear cargo all weather liner, and the tool storage bin with the air compressor.
This vehicle is ready for the winter, just jump in and
drive. The exterior of the
car shows extremely well. The car is virtually flawless with no major
blemishes to speak of. The paint looks to be in nice and it shines like
glass. You can see your face in the paint. There is nothing to pick on
with this car. This is a ONE OWNER car with no accident history in the
autocheck report. The car looks the way a ONE year old vehicle should. The
interior of the car is like brand new. The seats are is fantstic
condition and show no any wear at all. The carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives like a 13,000 mile Hyundai should. This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle has a title that is branded with flood status. If
you would like to
see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so.
Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are
located outside my local area, I will assist in any
way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500
non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions
end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the
closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me
in advance. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me
at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Matt and
my number is 646-243-9866. Thanks and good luck
bidding!

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT
Mon, 03 Jun 2013GT Stands For "Generous Trunk"
If ever there were an award for the most bastardized label in the automotive world, the Gran Turismo/Grand Touring/GT moniker would be an easy frontrunner. Once reserved solely for sporty coupes, the GT letters have taken a big hit over the years, but things got downright embarrassing with the BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo. For 2013, Hyundai is helping to muddy the waters even further by slapping a GT badge onto the hatchback version of its top-selling model, the Elantra.
In the case of the 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT, though, this name is just recycling the Elantra GT name from the early 2000s, albeit on a more stylish, modern and all-around better five-door. Hyundai has created quite a competitive lineup since its Fluidic Sculpture design language hit the market, but one area that it has paled in comparison to rival automakers is in the hatchback department. With a plethora of budget-minded compact cars currently on sale, Hyundai now finds itself in the unique position of being the only automaker to offer a compact sedan, coupe and hatchback with the 2013 Elantra. Still, with the compact segment more crowded than a public school classroom, we spent a week with the new Elantra GT to see how it stacks up against the hatchback competition.
How feasible is Hyundai's HCD-15 Santa Cruz pickup?
Tue, Jan 13 2015When the silk finally slipped off Hyundai's HCD-15 Santa Cruz concept at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday, it was tangible, four-wheeled confirmation following years of rumors that the Korean automaker has been investigating the pickup market. Yet despite strong early critical and online reception, the likelihood of a production Hyundai pickup remains muddy at best. To be clear, Hyundai officials tell Autoblog there's nothing remotely production-ready lurking below the Santa Cruz's skin – it's a what-if concept designed to gauge customer reaction. But company officials say Hyundai is seriously investigating the possibility of a production pickup, and the company firmly believes that there's a market for a small, efficient unibody truck. According to John Krsteski, Manager at Hyundai Design North America, who spearheaded the project, Hyundai "is spending a lot of time right now still going through some studies on which types of platforms – whether it's a unique platform. It could be based on something like a Tucson ... we've looked at several different options." While Krsteski indicated that a platform hadn't been arrived at – and would likely need modifications – he says "it's definitely feasible." The Santa Cruz concept has a number of eye-catching features that would seem tough to produce – namely the slide-out rear bed extender that Krsteski says was influenced by the drawer-style ovens and dishwashers increasingly found in high-end kitchens. "We've had a couple of engineers in the studio and we did some study models on it, and we do think it's feasible – especially based on how we could package that inside there." With the extension in place, the small bed is large enough for a motocross bike to fit in on an angle. So what's next for the Santa Cruz? Hyundai has some internal studies it has completed and others that remain ongoing, and the company will work to gauge consumer response to the vehicle at auto shows and other events. Hyundai Motor America is clearly excited about the California-born project, but the toughest hurdle to a production pickup will likely be getting approval from headquarters in Korea. To that end, we've been led to understand that it was both telling and strategic that the Hyundai press conference was packed with Korean executives, who were on-hand in part to gauge media reaction to the Santa Cruz.
2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo: July/August 2013
Wed, 04 Sep 2013If you've been reading the past several updates on our long-term 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, you may have noticed a trend developing. This is a flawed vehicle. Not critically so, but for many of our editors, this vehicle's annoying attributes are indeed outweighing the good. What may not be obvious, though, is that the deck is kind of stacked against the Turbo model.
See, a Veloster with its base powertrain and less of the gimmicky, look-at-me styling is a solid, fashion-forward, nicely packaged hatchback at a good price. Our issues haven't so much been with the Veloster itself, but with the unfulfilled expectations of hot-hatchery that the Turbo brings to the equation.
For this update, then, I will focus on a common bridge between the two Veloster models: the cars' top-end infotainment systems. Tack on the Style and Tech packs on the standard Veloster or the Ultimate Package on a Veloster Turbo, and you'll get the same Blue Link infotainment system, touchscreen navigation and eight-speaker Dimension stereo (a standard item on the VT).
