Arizona  and  California are the

Arizona  and  California  are the best places  to buy a car from! Our great weather year around  helps keep vehicle condition  excellent. We are dry year around so there  is no corrosion from moisture,  salted ocean air or salted roads. Or a   vehicle  that  has been partially or  completely submerged in contaminated  water or  mud.  These conditions can  wreak  havoc on  cars not just  aesthetically but more seriously mechanically  & electronically.

Take that into account when buying a east coast car or a car that has   been exposed to the seasons, salted or graveled roads or a flood.  There is usually a reason why that  car is being offered at a discounted value.

Many dealers are not  able to resist the larger profit opportunity of buying one  and hoping to pass it  along  to the   unsuspecting customer.

Our mission is simple, we offer far above average condition cars that are hand  picked, not bought based on the lowest price out there for whatever the  reason might be.

We search high & dry for the best value available. We take into consideration;  Condition,   Availability,   Mileage, Rare optional equipment,  Color  combinations, Modification qualities, Limited production runs. All   things    taken into consideration as they all add value to the vehicle.

We also check for active  factory warranty and post expiration dates and mileage  expirations limits.
We also investigate title status & history to insure a clean and clear,   lien free title with no negative announcements.

We strive to offer the best  cars possible. By doing so we hope to maintain an excellent reputation and keep  our repeat business growing with every customer.

We encourage you to review our  feedback to ensure you are doing business with a reputable & valued ebay seller.

2003 Hummer H2

There is no mistaking the Hummer 2 for anything  but a Hummer. GM designers took as many functional cues from the big Hummer as  they could reasonably get away with on a 122.8-inch wheelbase heavy-duty pickup  truck chassis, even to the fake air intake boxes at the trailing edge of the  hood. The chrome seven-slot grille is its signature, along with square corners,  roof rack, flat glass, flat panel architecture, huge tires, and grab handles  everywhere.

H2 is 81.5 inches wide, 1.5 inches over the limit for  clearance lights, so it comes with five lights on the roof fore and aft to  comply with federal law. It's shorter overall than the Suburban, with very short  front and rear overhangs that pay enormous dividends in off-road capability and  performance.

Big, square, chromed mirrors have heat, reverse-down, and a power folding  feature that protects the mirrors off road and narrows the truck's profile  considerably for traversing narrow spaces.

The front end is made up of a number of components including a grille, bumper,  tow hooks, and a lower bash plate with a huge "H2" stamped into its plastic  surface. It looks, from some angles, like a grown-up Tonka truck. The rear end  is subdued compared to the rest of the truck, with a Hummer-stamped rear bumper  cover and lots of square corners.

The Hummer 2's best single feature is the 6.0-liter V8 gasoline engine. It makes 316 horsepower in this  chassis and 360 foot-pounds of torque, more than enough to get from 0 to 60 mph  in about 10 seconds, and more than enough to comfortably tow 7000 pounds or  carry 2200 pounds of cargo.

The powertrain is excellent. The engine drives through GM's 4L65-E  electronically controlled four-speed overdrive transmission, the Borg-Warner  44-84 transfer case with a 40/60 front/rear torque bias, and steep 4.10:1 axle  ratios. The tank range is given at 350 miles, based on a 32-gallon fuel tank and  about 11 miles per gallon under ideal conditions. Fuel economy is not the H2's  strong suit. But power and torque are plentiful, the engine is well muffled and  quiet, and if you need to put oil in it, the H2's hood opens from the rear.

The body-on-frame Hummer 2 uses torsion-bar front suspension and a fully  independent five-link rear suspension taken from the latest generation of GM's  midsize sport utilities. It uses conventional coil springs and shock absorbers. However, there is an optional air suspension system that  lowers the truck 0.7 inches, self-levels and can make difficult off-roading  somewhat more comfortable. The relatively quick steering is helped out by  one of the smallest turning circles in the segment at 43.5 feet. The Hummer 2  feels more nimble than it should at 6400 pounds, but it's not quick enough in  its reactions to scare anybody. The tires are the Hummer 2's first form of  suspension, and they combine well with the iron and steel bits to provide a  plush ride on road, but a lot of control and stability off road.

Brakes on a serious SUV require more than just enough power to stop a fully  loaded 6400-pound five-door family vehicle from 70 mph or more. Brakes on a  serious SUV also demand the extra good pedal feel and system feel that make  challenging off-road conditions easier on the nerves. Even when soaking wet,  these brakes performed flawlessly, with lots of pedal feedback.

The Lux package includes leather heated front seats,  chrome appearance package, tubular assist steps, 6-dsic CD changer, and carpeted  floor mats for $2575.

Individual options include a third-row seat at $500, air  suspension by itself for $1025, a front brush guard at $525, the chrome package  for $700, heated leather seats alone for $1400, and $995 for the industry's  largest SUV sunroof.

GMC teases Hummer EV's removable roof panels

Wed, May 20 2020

Today was supposed to be the day that GM took the wraps off its GMC Hummer EV. We were told as much during the Super Bowl commercial, but GM revised it to an undecided future date, citing the coronavirus as the reason. Instead of the big reveal, we have a teaser.  The Hummer EV is going to feature removable roof panels, and now we get a better look at them. There are four roof panels and a front T-bar that come out of the truck. You can see what that looks like in the video at the top of this post. Comparisons to Jeep are obvious as the open-air experience is likely similar to the Gladiator and Wrangler with their hardtop roof panels removed. That zero-limits slogan makes a bit of sense from this respect. With the sheer number of roof panels, we suspect a single person will be able to remove them alone. In addition to the video of the roof, we get a small peek at the massive digital screens the Hummer will be sporting. Check them out at the bottom of the photo below. They appear to be two large slabs, separate from each other. Other details are scarce on the ground. We’re not sure when the Hummer will make its grand entrance at this point, but are still excited to see the 1,000-horsepower truck hit the road. GMC is still advertising the 0-60 mph time of just 3 seconds, too. The latest tidbit of news suggests that further teasers might be coming, so we could be in for a rather drawn out reveal process. Our senior green editor John Snyder got to see the GMC Hummer in person earlier this year at GMÂ’s EV Day and described it like this: “ItÂ’s a big, off-road-ready pickup complete with giant all-terrain rubber and tow hooks. It features removable roof panels for access to the open sky, which appears to be depicted in the teaser above. It features sail panels behind the C-pillars, similar to those on the Chevy Avalanche and Honda Ridgeline. Its bed was concealed with a tonneau cover, but it sported GMCÂ’s MultiPro tailgate that we first saw on the Sierra Denali. Interior photos showed a spacious interior with blocky shapes, squared hourglass vents that mirror the look of the taillights and a lunar theme that incorporates the topography of the Sea of Tranquility into things like the floor mats and speaker covers. It also has a large infotainment screen as well as a digital instrument panel.” Related video:

Big electric trucks won't save the planet, says the NYT

Tue, Feb 21 2023

When The New York Times decides that an issue is an issue, be prepared to read about it at length. Rarely will a week passes these days when the esteemed news organization doesn’t examine the realities, myths and alleged benefits and drawbacks of electric vehicles, and even The Atlantic joins in sometimes. That revolution, marked by changes in manufacturing, consumer habits and social “consciousness,” may in fact be upon us. Or it may not. Nonetheless, the newspaper appears committed to presenting to the public these pros and cons. In this recently published article titled, “Just How Good for the Planet Is That Big Electric Pickup Truck?”—wow, thatÂ’s a mouthful — the Times focuses on the “bigness” of the current and pending crop of EVs, and how that impacts or will impact the environment and road safety. This is not what news organizations these days are fond of calling “breaking news.” In October, we pointed to an essay in The Atlantic that covered pretty much the same ground, and focused on the Hummer as one particular villain, In the paper and online on Feb. 18, the Times' Elana Shao observes how “swapping a gas pickup truck for a similar electric one can produce significant emissions savings.” She goes on: “Take the Ford F-150 pickup truck compared with the electric F-150 Lightning. The electric versions are responsible for up to 50 percent less greenhouse gas emissions per mile.” But she right away flips the argument, noting the heavier electric pickup trucks “often require bigger batteries and more electricity to charge, so they end up being responsible for more emissions than other smaller EVs. Taking into consideration the life cycle emissions per mile, they end up just as polluting as some smaller gas-burning cars.” Certainly, itÂ’s been drummed into our heads that electric cars donÂ’t run on air and water but on electricity that costs money, and that the public will be dealing with “the shift toward electric SUVs, pickup trucks and crossover vehicles, with some analysts estimating that SUVs, pickup trucks and vans could make up 78 percent of vehicle sales by 2025." No-brainer alert: Big vehicles cost more to charge. And then thereÂ’s the safety question, which was cogently addressed in the Atlantic story. Here Shao reiterates data documenting the increased risks of injuries and deaths caused by larger, heavier vehicles.

GMC and EarthCruiser to collaborate on Hummer EV Pickup overlander project

Thu, Mar 30 2023

GMC just announced a collaboration with overlanding vehicle builder EarthCruiser, and the end result is going to provide us with a co-developed Hummer EV Pickup. The photo you’re looking at above is the first teaser for whatÂ’s to come of the partnership. The Hummer team will be working with EarthCruiserÂ’s research and design division to develop an overland upfit solution for EVs that it says will initially be integrated into the Hummer EV Pickup. In case you werenÂ’t familiar with EarthCruiser, theyÂ’re the people that have made utterly wild overlanding vehicles like the Terranova, FX and EXP. Needless to say, EarthCruiser makes some pretty rad stuff, and none of it is cheap. GMC says this collaboration will look to use EarthCruiserÂ’s expertise gained from developing its vehicles to create an overlanding solution for the Hummer. We should expect to see EarthCruiserÂ’s engineering technologies integrated into the vehicle, which will allow the Hummer to go even further off-road and provide the ability for owners to live with their trucks in the wilderness.  The one snag with overlanding in EVs is the typically long journeys away from civilization. As an example, the EarthCruiser XP and EXP feature 60-gallon fuel tanks to ensure you can get to where you need to go and power the living situation for a long time once youÂ’re there. WeÂ’ll be interested to hear what GMC and EarthCruiser have to say about the challenges presented by overlanding in an EV. Already visible in the teaser image is what looks like a solar panel-filled roof and rear side pods for supplies. The concept truck will be presented in late summer 2023, and while no date for a production vehicle was provided, itÂ’s likely that the final truck will come soon after. Related video:
