If you are looking for the ultimate "head turning" Extreme on and offroad SUV, you have found it!

Guaranteed to put a smile on your face as well as anyone that rides with you!

This RARE 4 Passenger  Hummer H1 is a great vehicle to own being that there were only 11,818 H1s that rolled off the AM General (and later GM) assembly line. The total built for 1995 was 1,432. Although a diesel engine powered version was avaiable, 533 Hummers received the Proven 5.7L TBI gasoline engine in '95. So when you find one such as this in this condition you have the Opportunity to own 1 of only 533 factory gasoline powered Humvee's in the World.

It is widely Known that the GM Diesel engine of this era was very problematic and undesirable throughout the entire GM lineup. This is why when you decided to own the Hummer H1, it becomes obvious that this is the Best one to own. You will have to look up and down for the gas version and may never find one like this. This excellent example has seen just under 42,000 miles since new and recently received a Brand New set of wheels and tires to set it off with an awsome custom look.

Standard options and features include; 5.7L V8, Automatic transmission, 4WD, Power Steering & Brakes, Power Window and Locks, Front and rear A/C, cruise control, Tow Package (that has never been used), Center Console Storage, Lockable Rear double doors, and 16.5" Factory Rims (w/ in-dash inflate/deflate) Will be included with the sale. Some upgrades include; Custom made leather seats, Pioneer AM/FM/CD/DVD flip screen, Custum 500 watt MMATS sub wolfers with MMATS matching amp, factory optioned Belly Skid Cage, Grill Gaurd, and  brand new 0 mile kuhmo 37x13.50 r20 mud terrain tires on XD Diesel 20x12 custom wheels!

The current owner of this Humvee has kept this on his Florida Ranch as a tour vehical and has used it to tour the ranch inspecting cattle, fence line and occasionally driven it in a few parades. This H1 rarely leaves the ranch and has never seen snow, salt or mud. It is absolutly rust free and has been dry stored it's entire life!

The Hummer Has been serviced and inspected within the last 30 days, which is when we decided to splurge on a brand new set of Kuhmo Road Venture MT KL71 37/13.50r20. We will include the factory Humvee 16.5" CTIS wheels and tires seen in the photos. The Central tire inflation system is all intact and functioning. We have simply capped it off under the center caps to improve the look of the wheels, it can be reconnected in minutes.

Just scroll to the bottom for large pictures.

Here's a little spec and history:

The Hummer H1 shares some common driveline parts with its HMMWV brethren. Items like brakes, axles, frame and major body panels (hood, tailgate and quarter panels) are shared between the HMMWV and Hummer H1. All H1s and HMMWVs were produced on the same assembly line; civilian H1s were painted and finished in a separate building opposite the parking lot.

Hummer H1s are unique in the way they handle off road, and in their interior arrangement. Passenger and highway comfort are sacrificed for maximum mobility compared to civilian SUVs, with features much more radical than the original Jeep though they do share a similarly cut simple grille opening. They are inherently very stable, thanks to their wide track. They can ford 30 inches (76 cm) of water and climb a 22-inch (56 cm) step. Their stock ground clearance of 16 inches (41 cm) is made possible by tucking driveline components inside a channel in the central space between the left and right seats. They have high approach/departure angles of 72/37.5 degrees. Most H1s are equipped with a Central Tire Inflation system(CTIS), which enables the driver to increase or decrease the tire air pressure at the push of a button, since lower tire pressures are more suited for off road, and higher tire pressures are desirable on-road.

Hummer H1s have many unusual features, such as inboard brakes and (portal gears) planitary outer axle housing which allow the drivetrain's half shafts a higher placement, for greater ground clearance and relieves stress on the drive train. The radiator is up high, sloping over the engine on a forward-hinged hood. The air intake is high-mount, enabling the H1 to ford waist-level water. Rather than using simple runflat tires, magnesium-aluminum alloy or rubber inserts are an optional feature for runflat ability. A chemical agent resistant coating, or CARC, is available only on the military version

GM renames its Detroit-Hamtramck plant Factory Zero

Sat, Oct 17 2020

Maybe we'll win, saved by zero. General Motors on Friday announced that its sprawling Detroit-Hamtramck facility, which is being retooled to build electric vehicles, has been renamed Factory Zero — as in zero emissions, along with the promise of an autonomous future in which there are zero crashes and zero congestion. The company is spending $2.2 billion to retool the plant into a futuristic facility that is flexible enough to build a variety of cars and trucks across the GM portfolio of brands. GM says that's the most it has ever spent on a production facility, and when the plant's cranking out EVs at scale it will have created 2,200 manufacturing jobs. Factory Zero's first projects will be the all-electric GMC Hummer pickup and the self-driving electric Cruise Origin, both build on GM's new Ultium battery platform, with other EVs to follow. Factory Zero should start cranking out Hummer pickups by fall 2021. A Hummer SUV will come along later. Check back with Autoblog when the Hummer is revealed next Tuesday, Oct. 20. Sustainability will be another key feature. During construction, excess concrete from pours in the plant has been used to pave roads, and stormwater runoff is being recycled to charge the factory suppression system and circulate in cooling towers. The 365-acre site also has 16.5 acres of wildlife habitat — GM says monarch butterflies hang out there, along with foxes and wild turkeys. GM says it's committed to powering all its southeast Michigan plants with sustainable energy by 2023, the rest of its U.S. facilities by 2030, and overseas plants by 2040. To that end, Factory Zero has a 30-kilowatt solar carport, and a 516-kilowatt ground-mounted solar farm, from DTE. “Factory ZERO is the next battleground in the EV race and will be GMÂ’s flagship assembly plant in our journey to an all-electric future,” said Gerald Johnson, GM executive vice president of Global Manufacturing. “The electric trucks and SUVs that will be built here will help transform GM and the automotive industry.” Related Video:     Green Hirings/Firings/Layoffs Plants/Manufacturing GM Hummer hamtramck

What the electric Hummer's size and weight means for its efficiency

Sat, Dec 3 2022

The 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. Tim Levin/Insider If you think driving a pint-sized Nissan Leaf is as good for the planet as driving a huge electric Hummer, think again.  The GMC Hummer EV uses significantly more electricity than other EVs, meaning it produces more pollution upstream.  The electric Hummer weighs 9,000 pounds and its battery weighs as much as a Honda Civic. The new electric Hummer rolls through town without a deafening engine rumble or a cloud of toxic fumes, but it doesn't exactly tread lightly.  The colossal truck weighs an astonishing 9,000 pounds. (Think two Toyota Tacomas, three Honda Civics, or 24 Shaquille O'Neals.) Moreover, the GMC Hummer EV is in many ways a supersized gas guzzler for a new era. It repackages many of the same flaws of hulking SUVs and trucks of years past — and proves not all zero-emission cars are created equal. EVs can be energy guzzlers too On the whole, electric cars use less energy than gas-powered ones. But they aren't all equally efficient.  No surprise here: The Hummer needs more electricity than any other EV on the market to move its elephantine frame. The Environmental Protection Agency rates the pickup at 47 MPGe (miles per gallon of gasoline-equivalent). For comparison, the Tesla Model 3 sedan is nearly three times as efficient, earning a rating of 132 MPGe. The Ford F-150 Lightning, another electric truck, gets 70 MPGe.  This has real consequences: Since the US gets 61% of its energy from oil, coal, and natural gas, the more electricity a car needs, the more pollution it creates upstream.  As the Union of Concerned Scientists put it: "Both EV cars and trucks are much cleaner than their gasoline counterparts, but electric trucks are responsible for more global warming emissions than electric cars simply because trucks are larger and heavier."  The 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1. Tim Levin/Insider The Hummer EV is also resource-intensive to manufacture, requiring a ginormous (and weighty) battery to give people the 300-plus miles of range they desire. You could produce three Chevrolet Bolts with the same battery cells consumed by one Hummer.

GeigerCars Hummer H2 Bomber is ready for winter...now that it's spring

GeigerCars Hummer H2 Bomber - Click above for high-res image gallery
GiegerCars has a love affair with American cars, and a particularly strange affection for Hummers. The German tuner has created all sorts of strange variants like a Christmas-themed H2, a 700-horsepower H2 built for a Texas sheriff or any number of racing-liveried Hummers like the "Gulf Wing" or this Martini Racing inspired H3.
GiegerCars' latest creation is the Hummer H2 Bomber. The most notable modification is the addition of four Mattracks 88M1-A1 rubber tracks that replace the twenty inch wheels. The rest of the vehicle features a military design theme as well as a roof box with lighting and a silver matte paint finish. Now all we need is a race on a snow-covered drag strip between this and Ken Block's Subaru TRAX STI. Follow the jump for the press release from GeigerCars.
