Honda S2000 absolutely no engine mods. Cranks, runs, and handles like new and as it should with only 27,313 miles. Never raced nor carelessly driven. Interior, top, and paint all original. Vehicle has been garage kept its entire life and adult owned. Car was purchased and owned locally. Properly maintained. Very clean with very little wear. Has new 17" AP2 style wheels and new BFGoodrich tires (less than 500 miles). Also have the original 16" wheels with 2 new BFG's on the rear and the original tires on the front wheels. Everything works as it did new. Window tint was redone and a portion of the orange paint from the defroster lines was removed in the process. Original floor mats are included and have been covered with other mats most of it's life. Boot for top, owner's manual, and tire tools also included. Buyer is responsible for full payment and taking delivery of the vehicle within 7 days. Honda overhauls North American operations with eye towards more autonomy
Mon, 25 Feb 2013The increasing sales success of Honda North America (HNA) has led to Honda brass in Japan reorganizing regional operations here. The management shuffling here and in Japan is intended to both streamline and confer more responsibility on HNA "as the region assumes a larger role in shaping Honda's global business," and as Honda builds more facilities that serve several roles in the product development pipeline.
Honda's executive vice president and president of HNA Tetsuo Iwamura was named COO of automotive operations, taking over a position that had been handled by company president Takanobu Ito. Iwamura's new role puts him in charge of anything Honda makes that has four wheels, which Automotive News says equates to 78 percent of the company's global revenue.
The current company CFO, Fumihiko Ike, will fill the now-vacant role of company chairman and Kohei Takeuchi will take his place. Takeuchi is presently the operating officer, general manager of the accounting division. The executive swaps take effect April 1, 2013.
Honda concept dials M for minivan [w/video]
Sat, 20 Apr 2013Yes, it looks a bit, uh, toothy, but what you see here is a concept that previews a brand new small MPV specifically designed for the Chinese market. Called the Concept M, the swoopy Honda was designed in Japan and the automaker is currently aiming to launch a production version in China sometime in 2014.
Honda hasn't released many details about its small van concept, simply saying that it "offers the attributes of a passenger car while adding new value through the realization of a comfortable and spacious cabin space made possible by Honda's packaging technologies, and the fun of driving." Doesn't sound too bad to us.

New Odyssey ads feature Honda Vac, star power
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Honda has released a string of new ads highlighting its refreshed, 2014 Odyssey minivan. While the Japanese brand hasn't started bragging about attaining the first Top Safety Pick+ for minivans, it's all too happy to brag about another first - the world's first van with a built-in vacuum cleaner.
In three spots, anthropomorphic children's rubbish discusses the merits of the new minivan, only to be sucked up by the built-in vacuum, which is only available in the top-end Touring Elite model. There's also quite a bit of star power floating around for those that watch a lot of TV. Neil Patrick Harris from Doogie Howser, MD and How I Met Your Mother voices a character in one of the spots, while Rainn Wilson from The Office stars in another.
