Selling my 2005 S2000 with 105k miles. The car is bone stock aside from a phone/ipod holder and extended floor mats. I've owned this car for a little over a year and have driven it everywhere from Jacksonville to the Florida Keys and have never had a single issue. I wouldn't hesitate to drive the car across the country as it currently sits. The exterior of the car shows minor wear. For the mileage, it's astonishingly clean, but it does have minor rock chips and a small scratch here and there. The vehicle has never been involved in a collision and has a clear title. Most of the service history throughout the life of the car has been documented at Honda dealerships and is available through Carfax / Autocheck. The convertible top was replaced approximately 2 years ago; if I remember correctly, the brand is a Robbins. The interior is in excellent shape and the leather seats are original with no rips or tears. The steering wheel shows minor wear and the seat bolsters do show very minor signs of wear, but overall it's in great shape. Mechanically, the vehicle is flawless. I've owned and driven several S2000s and this car drives every bit as well as a brand new S. Clutch engagement is strong, the transmission shifts smooth and without issue. The engine runs smooth and pulls hard through the RPM range as it should. I average approximately 24mpg in this car, even 100% city driving. Everything on the car works as it should. Manual transmission fluid (Honda MTF) and rear differential fluid (Mobil 1) were replaced approximately 6k miles ago; engine oil was changed approximately 1500 miles ago with Pennzoil Platinum. Feel free to message me with your phone number if you wish to discuss further details, and/or feel free to order an inspection. This S2000 has been enthusiast owned and maintained and won't disappoint. |

New Honda ad has Senna, Type R, Asimo, and astronauts
Mon, Aug 17 2015Now that Honda is back into the guts-and-performance game, automotively speaking, the Japanese company has hit the throttle on hardcore imagery. Its latest is in an ad for the company itself highlighting a small selection of its ample range of products, from motorcycles to an airplane and the coming Acura NSX, branded Honda in other markets. Called "Ignition," Wieden+Kennedy created the 90-second spot for Honda Motor Europe, with the tagline "Dare to do what others only dream of." The theme is a space launch, to give that "feeling of daring and human endeavor," perfectly supported by the print artwork with Asimo the robot up front and fabulously complicated hybrid V6 power units spewing flames from the Formula 1 cars in back. Then there's the family in the HR-V in the middle, defying gravity and sipping from juice boxes, because space is for everyone. Ayrton Senna makes a cameo again, and a Stanley Kubrick aesthetic hangs all over the production. You can check out the ad in the video above.
2016 Honda Pilot, Acura RDX confirmed for Chicago Auto Show debut
Wed, Jan 21 2015The Chicago Auto Show this year is going to be chock-full of Honda crossovers. Not only has Japanese automaker announced that it will be revealing the all-new Pilot at the Windy City expo, but that it will also preview the styling of the next Ridgeline pickup, while its luxury counterpart Acura takes the wraps off the new RDX. Developed and built in America, the new Pilot will be entering its third generation, after the first arrived in 2002 and the second in 2008. The new model previewed in the teaser image above will include eight seats across three rows, "with new technology, advanced safety, class-leading fuel economy and enhanced family utility and versatility," all wrapped in what Honda promises will be a "dramatic shift in design." The arrival of the third-generation model follows the recent introductions of the new CR-V and HR-V that slot below the Pilot. Honda's not saying much about the Ridgeline at this point, but given its close association with the Pilot, it's not surprising to see the automaker grouping the two together. The four-door, short-bed pickup was introduced in 2005 and was discontinued with the end of last year. The second-generation model is expected to reach production in 2016. While it's at it, Honda's luxury division will reveal the new 2016 Acura RDX at the Chicago show. Not to be confused with the Pilot-based MDX, the RDX is the smaller model based on the CR-V and introduced in 2006. The second-gen RDX was just introduced in 2013, but an updated version is already being rolled out, promising to deliver "a long list of styling and performance improvements plus desirable new luxury and safety features" and encompassing "important improvements to performance, dynamics, comfort and NVH." ALL-NEW 2016 HONDA PILOT SUV TO MAKE GLOBAL DEBUT AT 2015 CHICAGO AUTO SHOW Honda to fortify light-truck leadership on Feb. 12 by debuting all-new Pilot three-row SUV, and revealing the styling direction for future Ridgeline pickup Jan 21, 2015 - TORRANCE, Calif. -- A completely reengineered and redesigned Honda Pilot SUV will make its world debut at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show on February 12 at 9:30 a.m. The all-new, eight-passenger Pilot SUV – completely designed, developed and manufactured in America -- will raise the stakes in the mainstream three-row SUV segment with new technology, advanced safety, class-leading fuel economy and enhanced family utility and versatility.
