Bought this car in 2002 as a Honda certified used vehicle with 26,000 miles on it. It's still a very fun and dependable car but I need something with a larger backseat.

As seen in the pictures, the interior and exterior are in very good shape. Overall, there are no major defects in the body or paint. The rear bumper was replaced because of a dent in 2003. The black plastic piece underneath the driver's side front turn signal is missing (see photo). The paint is chipped on the front from normal wear and there are a few door dings. Black cloth interior with no stains, tears or worn spots. Non-smoking vehicle.

Aftermarket accessories include black alloy rims, LED headlights, Kenwood stereo with CD player, very dark window tinting. Black Prelude bra and original owner's manual are included.

200 horsepower DOHC VTEC engine. Runs and drives very well with no major mechanical issues. It is burning a little oil - I'm putting in about 2 quarts every 3000 miles. Just passed Oregon emissions. Brakes, timing belt, air filter, spark plugs and distributor cap have all been replaced in the last year. Newer tires - one had to be replaced a few months ago after running over road debris. It was recommended that the shocks and struts be replaced when the car was last serviced 2 months ago.

New Honda Fit ousts Toyota Prius as Japan's top-selling car last month

The Toyota Camry may lose its title as the best-selling car in the US next year and the Honda Civic has already managed to outsell the Toyota Corolla to become the top-selling compact in the US, but it looks like the domination woes have just hit Toyota on its own turf. Bloomberg reports that the all-new Honda Fit carries the distinction of being the best-selling car in Japan for October - the Fit's first full month on sale - outselling the popular Toyota Prius and Toyota Aqua (our Toyota Prius C).
Unlike the Camry's 16-year reign on US car sales, Japan's race seems a little tighter with the Fit most recently topping the sales charts in May 2011. Since then, though, the two Toyota hybrids have been the top two cars in for sale in Japan. The US won't get the next-gen Fit until the third quarter of 2014, but this new hatchback should be another solid option for buyers in the increasingly popular subcompact segment.
