90 Honda Prelude Si 5 Speed Stock Survivor!! Orig Paint & Interior Florida! on 2040-cars
Plant City, Florida, United States
Is this the last one left? Probably not but.....90 Honda Prelude Si 5 speed with.....the correct exhaust system!! Original paint (Colorado and Calif history in the Carfax). Original seats, carpets, dash, headliner. Some of the interior photos look "dirty", it isn't. Washed it before picture session. Runs out 100% AC is cold, starts, steers, shifts and stops as it should. PDR dent in right front fender, "Bald" spot on driver's rocker panel, mis-matched touch up on the leading edge of the hood. Overall an amazing true "survivor". If it was a CRX I would be keeping it forever. I am a dealer in Plant City, Florida. I used to sell a lot on Ebay before the "crash". This is a car that deserves a wide audience. I arrange my own shipping door to door, email me your zip code for a quote. Call me at 863-852-6315 or email direct sunautogroup@aol.com (As usual, Ebay Motors is much "improved", that is extremely obstinate and difficult to use. For some reason it says I "sell to the United States only". That is incorrect. I have vehicles all over Europe, South America, Mexico, Canada and Ukraine!) |

Automakers donating money, vehicles and supplies to Oklahoma tornado relief effort
Fri, 24 May 2013Judging by the destruction the Oklahoma City area experienced earlier this week, residents are going to need a lot of help in coming months. Fortunately, a number of automakers - including General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, Volkswagen, Honda and Toyota - have stepped up to donate money, supplies and vehicles to aid in the recovery and rebuilding processes.
Here's a quick rundown of which automakers have pitched in and what each contributed so far:
Ford Motor Company has donating $250,000 and a Transit Connect to the American Red Cross, and it will match all other donations made to the Red Cross (up to $250,000) using a special URL tied to the latter's website (link here). Additionally, its local Oklahoma dealers have thrown in an extra $150,000 for the United Way and the automaker will be offering an extra $500 toward the purchase of a new Ford vehicle.
Scion FR-S pitted against oldtimers RX-8 and S2000
Tue, 07 May 2013There are very few vehicles available today that compare directly with the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ twins. A case could be made for the Mazda MX-5 Miata, and possibly even six-cylinder versions of American coupes like the Ford Mustang. Pretty much everything else is either too expensive or is powered by the wrong set of wheels.
The boys from EverydayDriver on YouTube decided the only fair way to judge the inherent qualities of the Toyobaru twins was to pit them against two standard-bearers of years past: The Honda S2000 and Mazda RX-8. Neither of these cars is an exact matchup, with the Honda boasting a convertible top and the RX-8 offering more practicality via a rear seat and two reverse-opening doors for easier access. What they do offer, however, are similar performance stats and proven reputations for excellent handling.
None of this talk answers the real question, though: Which one wins the comparison test? Scroll down to watch the video, and be prepared for something of a surprise conclusion.
Honda exclusive to McLaren at least until 2017
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Next year Honda will return to Formula One after a seven-year absence, bringing the first Japanese automaker to compete in the top-tier racing series back into the fold. But though it started in 1964 much as it ended in 2008, running its own team (much like Ferrari and Mercedes do today), its new F1 program will see it revert to engine-supplier status (like Renault did when it sold its team to Lotus).
The arrangement will be exclusive to McLaren for the 2015 Formula One World Championship. But what fans and insiders alike have been wondering is how it might expand after that. Well, now we have at least part of the answer.
According to the F1 business insiders at Pitpass, Honda motorsport chief Yasuhisa Arai told a group of journalists at this past weekend's race in Shanghai that the deal with McLaren will be exclusive not only in 2015, but also in 2016. In other words, it won't be until 2017 at the earliest before Honda might begin supplying engines to any other teams, if at all.
