I have a really nice project car for someone. It has been sitting in my garage for almost 9 years total. Body and interior are in very good shape. Needs a good cleaning!!!!!!!! It is turbocharged. It spiked up to 14psi 2 years ago. Possible blown headgasket. It ran before I pulled engine but low power & smoking. Engine & transmission are removed. WILL NEED TO HAVE FLATBED TO PICK UP VEHICLE.

It comes with TONSSSS of spare parts for someone to re-built multiple engines. I've had another baby and don't have time nor $$$ to keep putting in this car. I'm the original owner since 2001. Here is what vehicle has done & will be included in sale:

Vehicle Has your normal scuffs & scrapes from sitting in garage for almost 9 years, bikes hitting it etc.. Paint still shines very very well. Needs a good buffing to take out light Cat scratches & nicks etc... Interior is very dusty/dirty from sitting in garage. It would make someone a extremely nice Low Mileage ORIG Prelude. Last Year Made. Only Year for Electron Blue Pearl Color & A 5-Speed.

-Has tiny outward dent with small chip on hood (see in pic) from old wastegate hitting hood.

-No engine or trans in vehicle

-Engine needs rebuilt, possible headgasket etc

-Transmission Has No Reverse. Looks like a common problem with 5th gen preludes. Includes 2 transmissions. The Original 1 taken apart w/all new OEM Honda Syncros etc... (Lots Of Gears ETC.. :-)

-It will include 3 h22 blocks, Not complete but good for parts

-2 Heads will be included. Both good. 1 is bare, clean & tested ok. The other is almost complete & tested ok.

-What you see is what you get. All parts will be include in this auction. NO ENGINE/TRANSMISSION IS IN THE VEHICLE NOW. SOLD AS-IS. CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE IN HAND.

Honda invests $215M in Ohio Earth Dreams production

Honda has announced a $215 million investment in a pair of its Ohio operations, taking its total tally for North American operations up to $2.7 billion in three years. The announcement was made at the 2013 Center For Automotive Research Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City.
$180 million of the investment is earmarked for Honda's Anna, OH engine plant. The money will allow the facility to increase its aluminum die casting and increase production of Honda's Earth Dreams Technology engines. Think of Earth Dreams as sort of like Mazda's Skyactiv line, only ED is limited to a new line of engines, rather than a full suite of automotive components. Anna will also be getting a new technical center to train engineers, techs, and line workers on powertrain technology.
The remaining $35 million is slated for Honda's main Ohio operations in Marysville. A 160,000-square-foot facility will be constructed near Honda's current properties, which will house another technical training center to focus on automotive manufacturing. The new building will also house Honda's North American Services group, as well as a new heritage center.

Honda recalling 748k Odyssey and Pilot models over airbag concern

American Honda today announced a recall of approximately 748,000 Odyssey and Pilot models due to faulty airbag concerns. The vehicles in question are Odyssey minivans from the 2011 to 2013 model years and Pilot crossovers from the 2009 to 2013 model years.
According to a statement from Honda, driver's side airbags in the affected vehicles were potentially assembled without some of the rivets that secure the bag's plastic cover. Because of this, the airbag may not deploy properly in the event of a crash, leading to further occupant injury. As of this writing, no injuries have been reported in conjunction with this issue.
Honda will begin officially notifying owners via mail in mid-February. The automaker urges customers to take their vehicles to an authorized dealership, where vehicles will be inspected and, if necessary, repaired. In lieu of waiting for the snail mail approach, owners may also visit www.recalls.honda.com or can contact the automaker directly at 1.800.999.1009 and select option four.
