1996 Honda Prelude Kenwood Audio Built Show Car on 2040-cars
Benson, North Carolina, United States
If you have more questions or want more details please email : katiearlington@netc.it .
This is a show, and display vehicle built by Kenwood Audio to showcase their high performance line of car audio
products.
Nothing was overlooked on this custom creation. It was built to the highest professional standards, with every inch
of the car refurbished, replaced, or customized, including the undercarriage.
The vehicle has traveled the country, making appearances at dozens of shows. It was then displayed on the showroom
floor at Rock Springs Honda.
The engine, and trans have both been rebuilt. The vehicle literally has less than 5 actual miles on the build.
The list of customizations is almost endless. The most major things are the ridiculous audio set up, the fully
glassed and molded seamless body kit, completely adjustable custom coil over suspension, and an impeccable interior
with custom
leather seats. The back seat was removed, in favor of an insane custom sub enclosure. It was also graced with
smooth scissor doors, and a paint job so deep, u could practically swim in it (which alone was over 10k), and
wheels to match.
Look closely at the photos. What you see, is what you get. The vehicle has always been stored in climate control,
and has exactly zero rust. This is a brand new car, only better.
The actual value is probably 3 times the asking price.
The car has a clean title.
Vehicle is also posted elsewhere for sale, and subject to removal from EBay at any time.
$500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the sale, and balance due within 7 days.
Buyer is responsible for pick-up, or transportation of the car within 2 weeks of purchase.
This car is ready to show, or be registered for an awesome daily driver.

Autoblog Podcast #317:
Is your new-car warranty good at the race track?
Mon, Feb 27 2017We've all heard the horror stories. Your buddy knows a girl that was dating a guy whose best friend's brother once broke his brand-new, recently purchased performance car while making runs at a drag strip or laps at a track day, and the manufacturer wouldn't cover the repair under warranty. True story? Urban legend? Complete crap? Yes, no, maybe. One thing's for sure: Automotive warranties have always come with caveats. In 1908, an ad in the Trenton Evening Times clearly stated: "All Ford Cars Guaranteed for One Year." Although it changed over time, by 1925 the Ford New Car Guarantee only covered 90 days on material and 30 days on labor, and it clearly stated that that there was "No guarantee whatever on Fan Belts, Glass, Bulbs, Wiring, Transmission, Bands, Hose Connections, Commutator Shells, Rollers, Spark Plugs or Gaskets." Whether or not Ol' Henry would pay to fix your Model T if you broke it shaving a tenth off your lap time at the local board track seems to be lost to history. We're guessing no. But what about today? Do new-car warranties in 2017 cover cars when they are driven on race tracks? We researched the warranties of 14 auto brands to find out, and the answer is yes, no, maybe, depending on the brand, in some cases the model, and whether or not your car is modified from stock. Acura has been out of the high-performance car game for a number of years, but jumps back into the party in 2017 with its hybrid-powered $173,000 NSX supercar. And Acura's warranty, as well as Honda's, clearly states that it does not cover "the use of the vehicle in competition or racing events." View 33 Photos So we asked Sage Marie, Senior Manager of Public Relations for Honda and Acura. "If the car is stock, the warranty covers it on a track just as it does on the street. No question," he told us. "However, if the car is modified, say with slick tires or other components that would put higher stresses on the vehicle's parts and systems, then we would have to investigate the circumstances further." Marie went on to say the same would be true for any Acura model or Honda vehicle, including the new 2017 Honda Civic Si. This became a common theme. Chevrolet actually started this practice with the fifth-generation Camaro on the high-performance ZL1 and Z/28 models.
2015 Honda HR-V looks fit for the urban jungle
Thu, 17 Apr 2014Honda has been teasing us with the looks of its Fit-based compact crossover for months. Now the production version, dubbed the HR-V in the US, has finally been unveiled - in photographic form, at any rate - at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The CUV will slot into the brand's range this winter, and at the moment the company is keeping mum on many details about the new model.
The HR-V looks almost identical to the Urban SUV Concept unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show. The concept wore some nifty LED headlights and bigger wheels, but the rest of the styling has carried over to production. The handsome CUV sports diamond-shaped headlights, and a center bar splits the grille into two tiers. It has the same swoosh down the side running to the C-pillar, but it appears slightly less pronounced than in Detroit. The rear door handles are also hidden in the back pillar.
The compact crossover rides on the same platform as the new Fit. That allows it to take full advantage of the compact's highly versatile interior. The HR-V comes with Honda's Magic Seat that allows the back row to fold flat into the floor when needed.
