1994 Honda Prelude Si 4ws Coupe 2-door 2.3l on 2040-cars
Memphis, Tennessee, United States
I have an automatic '94 Prelude for sale. The miles are 194, XXX. I'd rate the body of the vehicle a 6. It looks pretty good for its age. I'd rate the interior of the vehicle an 8. It has been well taken care of. There's no rips or tears and the sunroof doesn't leak. Also, this was a non-smoking vehicle so no odors. The more important details are listed below.
The bad: -air and heat needs servicing (does not work) -turning headlights on drains the battery (do not know cause/currently only driving vehicle in the day) -needs EGR valve cleaned (engine light is on due to this as told by Dobbs Honda on Mendenhall and I do have the service papers) The good: -new battery -new distributor cap -new MAP sensor -new spark wires -replaced interlock control module -new igniter module -new alternator -new O2 sensor -new catalytic converter -clean/clear title on hand There are quite a few new parts in this vehicle so a lot of money has been put into this vehicle, meaning that the price is firm. The car comes with the manual, 2 spare keys, and a new set of wiper blades (Rain-X). I will only accept cash in full--no payment arrangements/plans. I am not accepting trades. You must drive to vehicle's location for pickup. I will not drop off the vehicle. Also, you do NOT need a tow truck or someone to pull the vehicle home. The vehicle can be driven home. I have a CLEAN title to the vehicle. If you are seriously interested, send me an email and I will respond promptly to serious inquiries. |

Honda exclusive to McLaren at least until 2017
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Next year Honda will return to Formula One after a seven-year absence, bringing the first Japanese automaker to compete in the top-tier racing series back into the fold. But though it started in 1964 much as it ended in 2008, running its own team (much like Ferrari and Mercedes do today), its new F1 program will see it revert to engine-supplier status (like Renault did when it sold its team to Lotus).
The arrangement will be exclusive to McLaren for the 2015 Formula One World Championship. But what fans and insiders alike have been wondering is how it might expand after that. Well, now we have at least part of the answer.
According to the F1 business insiders at Pitpass, Honda motorsport chief Yasuhisa Arai told a group of journalists at this past weekend's race in Shanghai that the deal with McLaren will be exclusive not only in 2015, but also in 2016. In other words, it won't be until 2017 at the earliest before Honda might begin supplying engines to any other teams, if at all.
McLaren working on P15 supercar to slot between 650S and P1
Thu, 20 Mar 2014McLaren has been busy these past few years. It launched the MP4-12C in 2011, the 12C Spider in 2012, the P1 in 2013 and (most recently) the 650S in 2014. But it's not about to stop there. It's got an "entry-level" model in the works, set to take on the Porsche 911, and - according to information reported by Car and Driver and confirmed by McLaren in correspondence with Autoblog - a new flagship model, too.
The project is internally codenamed P15, and it calls for a new flagship that will cap the company's lineup once the P1 finishes its limited production run, but carry a price tag in the neighborhood of $500k to slot in between the P1 and the new 650S.
Just how, you wonder, can McLaren possibly develop another supercar each year? Simple: underneath, they're all essentially the same. (Only we're sure it's anything but simple.) That is to say they're all based on the same carbon monocoque structure and powered by the same 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission driving the rear wheels. What differentiates them is what the engineers in Woking build around that monocoque and how they tune the engine: +/- 600 horsepower in the 12C (depending on the year it was built), 640 hp in the 650S, or 727 hp in the P1 (with another 177 from the electric assist). The 911 fighter would likely develop in the 500hp range, and the P15 will probably land in the upper 600 (or lower 700) range.
NHTSA investigating 343,000 Honda Odyssey minivans
Sat, 06 Jul 2013The recall bug could strike Honda again as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened another investigation concerning the Odyssey minivan. Honda has already recalled 59,000 Odysseys from the 2012 and 2013 model years due to a shift interlock issue, and another 320,000 of the minivans from 2003-04 are being investigated for faulty airbags. Now, TheDetroitBureau.com is reporting that NHTSA is taking a look at the 2007-08 Odyssey for a problem associated with the brakes.
This investigation reportedly includes 343,000 Odysseys that could be suffering from an unexpected application of the brakes. According to the article, at least 22 people have reported such an issue, and in five cases, dealers found a trouble code associated with the steering angle sensor - part of the anti-lock brake and stability control systems. There is still no indication as to whether or not this will become a recall, but Honda has already recalled more than 1.8 million units this year.
