This Prelude was originally purchased by a mature lady and then sold to another lady who then sold it to me two years ago (I'm 68 years old), so it has never been abused. This is the Si model (not 4WS). Original paint is still decent. Motor is excellent. Clutch and trans are good but synchros are worn so you can't shift it fast. But if you shift it carefully there is no problem and it will operate for years like this. If you don't drive a stick well-this is NOT the car for you. Has new muffler & battery in the last year. Has factory sunroof/moonroof, a/c tilt wheel, power windows, and am/fm/cd player. Handles beautifully and gets 30 mpg or better on the highway. Car is registered in Oregon until July 2014 and is located in Gold Beach, Oregon. Car is tight with no rattles or other issues. Priced reasonably and the new owner is going to love this car. Call Walt at: 541-373-0101 Price is $1600.00 FIRM (NO LOWER OFFERS). CAR IS OFFERED LOCALLY AS WELL. I CAN STORE CAR FOR YOU FOR NO CHARGE UP TO 30 DAYS,

Honda execs take 'quality-related' pay cut after Fit Hybrid's 5th recall
Thu, 23 Oct 2014Generally, the best policy in life is to admit when you're wrong and just accept the consequences. However, that attitude generally seems to be a bit less common in the world of business - at least without some government or legal prodding. So, it's especially surprising to learn that top Honda executives in Japan are taking a pay cut for the next three months following the fifth recall of the Fit Hybrid (pictured above) in the last 12 months.
According to Reuters, Chief Executive Takanobu Ito is taking a 20-percent pay cut to make amends for the quality issues. Also, 12 other high-ranking executives are taking 10 percent drops in their salaries. In addition to those temporary changes, Honda is creating a new position in charge of monitoring vehicle quality.
The latest recall fixes "noise-related defects," according to Reuters, on both the hybrid and naturally aspirated versions of the Fit, both variants of the Vezel (the sibling to the future HR-V in the US) and the N-WGN. There have also been three recalls for problems with the hybrid's seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. None of them have caused reported injuries or deaths, and these issues haven't affected US models.
Honda launches new JDM Odyssey, Mugen chips in [w/video]
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Honda has just released its new Odyssey minivan for the Japanese Domestic Market, and it has plenty of style and room for up to eight people. Honda factory tuning company Mugen will also offer performance and styling parts for the fifth-generation minivan.
The Odyssey is offered in B and G trim with a 173-horsepower, 2.4-liter I-VTEC four-cylinder mated to a continuously variable transmission with optional paddle shifters and seven 'speeds.' The more upscale Odyssey Absolute features sportier styling, and but all models are available in either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.
The interior follows a "modern suite" design concept inspired by luxury hotels, with wood trim and comfortable-looking seats. Additionally, customers can choose between models with a lift-up second-row seat or a lift-up front passenger seat. Honda highlights the Odyssey's low floor height and high ceiling, which accentuates the spacious interior. The low floor also endows the minivan with a step height of 30 centimeters (11.8 inches) at the rear sliding door to afford easy entry.
Honda's Euro Civic hatch getting facelift, too
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Honda's freshening of the Civic line isn't just limited to the North American market, as proven by these images of the Euro-spec model testing on Her Majesty's motorways.
According to our spies, this new Civic boasts a heavily restyled front fascia, with headlights and taillights that draw a quite a bit of inspiration from the Civic Type R Concept from the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The restyled front fascia has a sportier lean, with more significant lateral intakes and what looks like a slightly larger lower intake. It's more difficult to make out details on the rear of the car, although we can spot a modest little diffuser and a larger integrated spoiler.
