The title shows that the millage might not be actual, but then there is no mark on the ODOMETER DISCREPANCY box.....This might be an error from the insurance company, that's why it shows not actual millage. Otherwise this Van is in perfect condition.
2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L 4dr Wagon (3.5L 6cyl) with Brown Exterior, Tan Interior. Loaded with 3.5L V6 MPI Engine, Leather Seats, 8-passenger Seating, 3rd Row Seating, Heated Front Seats, Power Front Seats, Power Glass Moonroof, Leather Steering Wheel Trim, Cruise Control, Audio Steering Wheel Controls, AM/FM/CD Audio System, Rear DVD Entertainment System, Rearview Camera, Automatic Tri zone Climate Control, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Exterior Mirrors, Rear Power Side Door, Power Liftgate, 17" Wheels and more. This Odyssey comes with Rebuild Salvage title due to the flood. The Van Runs and Drives perfectly. I bought this vehicle from a dealer, but have no time to work on it, because I'm getting deployed soon. There are some warning lights on in the dashboard as you can see in those pictures. Fuse box might needs to be changed in order for the Radio/DVD player and other components to work. Carpet and leather seats have been cleaned professionally. No smell of odor. Front and back seats has some rust in the lower side areas. Doors/Sunroof and all windows are working fine, expect for the rear passenger side window and door. This might have to do with the fuse box. There are couple of small scratches in the bumper, but it's hard to see except the one in the bottom lower left side of the front bumper. One but very small dent in the rear passenger side door. Middle 2nd row seat is missing, but you can get on for $99 on Ebay parts. I'm selling this vehicle as is with no warranty. Serious bidders only. I've 100% feedback rating, so bid worry free. |

Acura ILX headed for Civic-like early upgrades
Wed, 12 Dec 2012The not-yet-ready-for-primetime 2012 Honda Civic saw it quickly returned to sender for refurbishment, now the Acura ILX is headed in the same direction in its very first year. Automotive News reports that the small, Civic-based sedan from Honda's luxury brand isn't meeting sales expectations, with an annualized rate of 22,000 to 24,000 sales instead of the 30,000 the company is after. More telling is that the ILX "is being outsold by the Buick Verano, Volkswagen CC and Audi A4," and, except for two months since it launched, it has also been outdone by the Acura TSX it is meant to replace.
Part of the cause has been the 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine: its 150 horsepower to motivate a sedan that can weigh up to 2,970 pounds doesn't offer the kind of performance or value experience that buyers in the segment respond to. Another big issue is that the top-level 2.4-liter engine is only offered with a six-speed manual even though most buyers of the highest trim don't really want to shift their own gears. Lastly, the ILX might not put enough space between it and its frugal underpinnings - our first drive review pegged it as "the world's nicest Honda Civic."
An automatic transmission is on the way for the 2.4-liter, but it isn't clear when. And while Honda admits that the 2.0-liter is underpowered and Automotive News says it's on the way out, the company hasn't yet said how that situation will be corrected.
Honda and Mario Andretti cite pedestrians for excessive slowness
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Honda and the Andretti family have a lot to celebrate at the moment. Andretti Autosport driver Ryan Hunter-Reay won the 2014 Indianapolis 500 in his Honda-powered car, and Marco Andretti, Mario's grandson, also managed to take the third step on the podium. Apparently, the victory is making them feel magnanimous because Honda and Mario Andretti are giving the chance to ride with him in a two-seat, open wheel car.
To promote the contest, they created the Honda Speed Patrol to ticket anyone going too slow. It's an interesting idea, and the chance to ride with Andretti would be the opportunity of a lifetime. Perhaps the biggest shock of the video, though, might be when you realize how short Mario is when you see him milling about in public. Scroll down to watch one of America's most respected racers cite people in Chicago for being too slow.
Honda names first woman, foreigner to its board of directors
Mon, 24 Feb 2014General Motors may have made headlines when it recently appointed the industry's first female CEO, but Honda has long lagged woefully behind the times when it comes to the diversity of its top management. In fact, its entire board has until now been composed entirely of Japanese men, with not a foreigner or a woman in sight. But as Reuters reports, that's all changing with the nominations to its latest board.
The slate of new directors named to Honda's board includes one Hideko Kunii, a gender-equality advocate and engineering professor from the Shibaura Institute of Technology. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Kunii spent the bulk of her career at Japanese electronic imaging company Ricoh. Alongside Kunii, Honda has also named Tomoko Mizoguchi to the board as responsible for the company's South American operations, making him the first foreigner to serve on the company's board of directors. (Well, almost: Mizoguchi was born in Brazil, but of Japanese ancestry.)
The appointments follow the recent switch Honda made in its official language policy from Japanese to English, signaling a shift in outlook for a company that has long stuck to traditional Japanese business models. Honda was the first of the major Japanese automakers to begin manufacturing in the United States, and has long relied on hiring local managers to run its regional operations around the world. It has, however, resisted placing foreigners on its board of directors until now, relying instead on senior male managers promoted from within its ranks to serve on its board. This in comparison to Toyota, which has seven foreigners and one woman on its 68-member board of directors, and Nissan, which has fifteen foreigners (including its chief executive) and one woman on its 58-member board.
