Hello my fellow Ebay Buyers,

Today I am selling my 2004 Honda Odyssey Ex for the starting bid price of $5000. The vehicle is an excellent condition, the only flaw is it has No Front Emblem but NO WORRIES! I have one purchased and will install after someone buys. I would like to start off by stating my own experience with this particular minivan. I have a couple cars, including luxurious types, ex. Lexus, and Mercedes, but my favorite car to cruise around with was THIS minivan. That is only cruise, this is the go-to van for workers whom needs to fit lots of supplies like a truck would hold but way better fuel-age to people with families. The impeccable, highly affordable, family/workers/ the peoples van. Yes this is a salvage title, the front bumper had to be replaced, but it was replaced by the exact manufactured product and of course this was the vehicle for my son's job, which I had excellent, reliable, and determined work to ensure even better durability than being brand new. There has been an accumulation of 96,935 miles on the car. Here are some specifications of the minivan:

Introduction

When researched about this minivan, one will build a perspective not only based on opinion but on true die hard facts (tests) that this is an award winning minivan.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options

The EX model includes such standard fare as a height-adjustable driver seat, traction control, dual manual-sliding doors, power windows (including power rear-vent windows), power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, front and rear air conditioning and antilock brakes.

Powertrains and Performance

The 3.5-liter V6 produces a stout 240 horsepower and 242 pound-feet of torque. It's connected to a five-speed automatic transmission that puts power to the front wheels. This is one of the quickest minivans available, with 0-to-60 mph coming up in less than 8.0 seconds. It also posts an EPA mileage estimate of 18 city/25 highway.

Safety

A minivan would not be complete without safety features, and the Odyssey comes with its share. All seven seats have headrests and three-point seatbelts, and each Odyssey comes with four-wheel antilock disc brakes and side airbags for front occupants. In government crash testing, the Odyssey has earned five stars, the best ranking possible, for both frontal and side-impact safety. The IIHS has also given the minivan a "Good" rating (the highest possible) for its performance in the 40-mph frontal offset crash test. Two relatively new safety features found on the new Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna -- stability control and head-protecting side curtain airbags -- aren't available on the Odyssey.

Interior Design and Special Features

A key Odyssey feature continues to be its hideaway, or "magic," third-row seat. With a minimum of effort and the use of just one set of hands, the rear seat can be folded out of sight and sit flush with the floor in a matter of seconds. A number of other manufacturers have copied this design, however, and the Sienna now offers a 60/40-split folding version that offers greater seating flexibility for larger families. The Odyssey's second-row seats are convertible and can be used as separate captain's chairs or as a bench. With the third-row seat lowered and the second-row seats removed, the Odyssey can fit up to 146 cubic feet of cargo, almost twice the amount of your average midsize SUV.

Driving Impressions

Sitting on a four-wheel independent suspension the Odyssey rides comfortably and keeps the driver in touch with the road. Combined with the Odyssey's wide track, the suspension contributes a nimble and stable feel. Body roll around corners is minimal, particularly for a vehicle of this size, and the suspension does a respectable job of smoothing over bumps.

This vehicle was great but my son decided it is time to move on, get a more luxurious car, (where are the tools going to go?) will see what the future awaits but for now the future is in the buyers hands, if he/she wants this vehicle, the starting bid is going to be $5000. I am looking for cash or even a transaction through a credible bank but those details should be discussed on the phone. The car is available for local pickup around the area of Chicago IL, 60638. I believe that everyone needs to ask questions, so for goodness sake, ask them, please contact me, Ted, at 773-585-5454. I am looking forward to hearing from my fellow Ebay buyers!

Cheers!

Honda wins Commercial of the Decade, but not for the ad you think [w/VIDEO]

Honda's Commercial of the Decade: "Grrr" - Click above to watch video
The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...

Honda concept dials M for minivan [w/video]

Sat, 20 Apr 2013

Yes, it looks a bit, uh, toothy, but what you see here is a concept that previews a brand new small MPV specifically designed for the Chinese market. Called the Concept M, the swoopy Honda was designed in Japan and the automaker is currently aiming to launch a production version in China sometime in 2014.
Honda hasn't released many details about its small van concept, simply saying that it "offers the attributes of a passenger car while adding new value through the realization of a comfortable and spacious cabin space made possible by Honda's packaging technologies, and the fun of driving." Doesn't sound too bad to us.
Have a glance at the Concept M in the gallery above (full disclosure: we don't have live shots of this one), and take a look below for the official press blast direct from the MPV's Shanghai debut, as well as a promotional video showing the new concept from all angles. Oh, and be sure to turn your volume down before pushing the play button.
