This smoke-free and garaged 2011 Honda Fit Sport has been well taken care of. We'd (my family and I) actually love to keep this fun to drive gem but have recently relocated to a mountainous area of central New Mexico above 7000 feet. It's an area that receives its fair share of winter snowfall. Clearance is the main issue with large snow drifts making it very difficult to get up our driveway and reality has set it that we're going to need a gas guzzling 4x4.
Over the past year, I've averaged 31 mpg combined city/highway driving. I'm the original owner, purchased vehicle new at a dealership Harr Motors in Aberdeen, SD. Car corners exceptionally well and the only service "call" was to turn brake rotors and blow out a dirty cabin filter. Replaced oil w/ Mobil 1 synthetic @ 6.5K miles, both oil and air filter were replaced with genuine Honda parts from the dealer. What else is there to say about this versatile Honda vehicle? The online reviews are spot on...that this is a fun to drive, highly versatile, gem of a compact car. We're truly going to miss it...

Honda Civic Type R on track to smash 'Ring record, eclipse NSX
Wed, 01 Oct 2014Honda has made some serious performance machinery over the course of its history, but few products have been as hotly anticipated as the upcoming new Civic Type R. Following a deep and proud history of Type R Hondas, the latest Japanese hot hatch is continuing its long striptease at the Paris Motor Show this week. But before it does, Honda has released this video clip featuring project leader Suehiro Hasshi - and he has some bold claims to make.
For one, he says it'll be the best Type R yet - and that's quite a statement considering some of its predecessors, including the almighty NSX Type R. Hasshi-san also reiterates Honda's aim of snatching the front-drive lap record at the Nürburgring away from the likes of Renault and Seat, and reports that the Honda team is on track to chew every bit it's biting off. In short, the new Civic Type R ought to be sensational.
Senna's McLaren drives Honda up the wall

On display at the Honda stand in Frankfurt this year is the 1988 McLaren MP4-4 in which the legendary Ayrton Senna drove to fifteen out of sixteen grands prix that season to take the championship in spectacular style.
Honda provided the engine for that car, a 1.5-liter turbo V6 with upwards of 600 horsepower to propel less than 1,200 lbs. Of course this being a static display car, it's likely been stripped of its engine, gearbox and most other internal mechanical components. But that doesn't make the sight of it any less memorable.
