See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"Wear and tear condition description: This vehicle has a few small dents and scratches from general use, but one would need to be very close and pay close attention to detail to notice them. I've tried my best to keep it clean over the years keeping in mind that I may sell it in the future. There's a very small dent in the rear bumper. Two little dings from other people opening their car door against mine (i.e. mall parking lots). I used the rear cargo area to carry mostly plants and boxes, so theres a bit of wear in the rear plastic floor from sliding objects in and out. The dark grey on the lower sides of the front seats are a little faded due to dust, but should be back to normal with an interior detail service. It's 5 1/2 years old, so it's not exactly brand spanking new, but it looks new and it's overall very clean and in great condition."

More Seller Notes!

Super clean non-smoking vehicle. One owner. I love this vehicle because it is so versatile, spacious, extremely functional and easy to clean. To make more room for cargo, you can easily flip-up the rear seats to the side, or you can completely remove them with ease. All weather front and rear rubber mats included. I use public transportation to commute to work, so the miles were mostly from highway and road-trips. Original brake pads still installed since purchasing the vehicle, and according to the most recent Honda service visit, they're still in good condition (proof of mostly highway miles). The engine is in excellent condition. I've always kept up with replacing the transmission fluid and oil changes, as well as Honda's recommended mileage maintenance schedules. This Honda Element will last beyond 200,000 if well cared for.

Comes loaded with the following extras:
  • Honda Genuine Tailgate Spoiler
  • Honda Genuine Sport roof-rack

  • Sears Waterproof X-Cargo Sport 20 Car Top (roof-rack) Carrier

Honda Civic Type R on track to smash 'Ring record, eclipse NSX

Wed, 01 Oct 2014

Honda has made some serious performance machinery over the course of its history, but few products have been as hotly anticipated as the upcoming new Civic Type R. Following a deep and proud history of Type R Hondas, the latest Japanese hot hatch is continuing its long striptease at the Paris Motor Show this week. But before it does, Honda has released this video clip featuring project leader Suehiro Hasshi - and he has some bold claims to make.
For one, he says it'll be the best Type R yet - and that's quite a statement considering some of its predecessors, including the almighty NSX Type R. Hasshi-san also reiterates Honda's aim of snatching the front-drive lap record at the Nürburgring away from the likes of Renault and Seat, and reports that the Honda team is on track to chew every bit it's biting off. In short, the new Civic Type R ought to be sensational.

Honda Civic overtakes Toyota Corolla as America's best-selling compact

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The battle to claim October's best-selling compact sedan title has been won by the Honda Civic. The Japanese four-door sold 27,328 units, leaving the Toyota Corolla - September's title holder - in its wake with 23,637 units sold. In terms of year-to-date sales, the Civic sits at 280,899 units, with the Corolla trailing at 257,184 vehicles.
Sitting in third place, separated by a significant gap from the leaders, is the Chevrolet Cruze with 16,087 units sold. The Ford Focus earned fourth, with 15,108 units moved out of showrooms. (It is interesting to note that while the Civic and Corolla have both enjoyed double-digit sales increases year-over-year, the Cruze and Focus have seen significant decreases during the same period.)
Sales of the Hyundai Elantra hit 14,876 units, putting it in fifth place, with the Volkswagen Jetta earning sixth place with 11,710 units. Rounding out the ten top sellers were the Nissan Sentra (8,399 units), Mazda3 (7,647 units), Dodge Dart (5,617 units) and Subaru Impreza/WRX (4,923 units). The Kia Forte (4,706 units) and Volkswagen Golf (2,249 units), eleventh and twelfth respectively, have fallen behind.

Recharge Wrap-up: 2015 Honda CR-Z now on sale, Daimler and Linde building hydrogen stations in Germany

Fri, Oct 10 2014

The 2015 Honda CR-Z hybrid is now available at dealerships, for slightly more money. The CR-Z starts at an MSRP of $20,145 (plus $790 in destination charges), up from the $19,995 price of the 2014 model. For those who don't want to row their own gears with the six-speed manual transmission, the available CVT adds an extra $650 to the price, but also offers better fuel economy, especially in the city. The manual-equipped CR-Z gets 31 mpg city/38 highway/34 combined, while the CVT version is rated at 36/39/37 mpg. The 1.5-liter engine and electric motor provide a combined peak 130 horsepower. The manual CR-Z offers 140 pound-feet of torque, with the CVT version providing 127 pound-feet. Customers can also soup up their new CR-Z with upgrades (including a supercharger) from Honda Performance Development. Learn more in the press release below. Daimler and Linde are teaming up to build hydrogen fueling stations in Germany. The automaker and gases and engineering company, with the help of a few oil and gas companies, plan to install 13 new stations by the end of 2015. The installations precede a push by Daimler to get more fuel cell vehicles on the road. "From 2017, we are planning to bring competitively priced fuel-cell vehicles to market," says Daimler's Herbert Kohler. "So now is the time to build a nationwide fuelling infrastructure." Linde will supply the stations with fully renewable hydrogen. Read more in the press release below. In 1899, an EV set a world landspeed record, and Wired has revisited the story with a nice look back at the "La Jamais Contente" and its driver, Belgian engineer Camille Jenatzy. Jenatzy built an electric car to race in a hillclimb, which he won while clocking a top speed of 17 miles per hour (measured the old-timey way - without radar guns). Just a few weeks later, another man set a landspeed record of 32 miles per hour, beginning a back-and-forth series of setting new records. Then, on April 29, 1899, "The Red Devil," as Jenatzy became known as, surpassed 100 kph (62 mph) when his torpedo-shaped electric car set a record of 65.8 mph. It was powered by two 25-kilowatt electric motors. Read the whole story over at Wired.
