Offered for sale is a 1989 Honda CRX Si. The car has largely remained unmodified. We bought the car out of Colorado to try to find a slightly cleaner chassis then what is typically found in Ohio. The plan was to have a great runner to run to and from auctions with that would be a lot of fun. After the winter we've had, we have gone a different direction.
Looking at the pictures you can see, the car looks like its never been in an accident. The front sheet metal is all original and corrosion free. The only corrosion on the car is the typical rear quarter panels and the drivers door check mount has rusted. The engine has been replaced at some point with a SOHC ZC engine. The car does run great, clutch feels good, gets 45 mpg. All in all, it is a solid car. Great driver or project car. The driver seat bolster is worn and the climate controls are cracked like most CRXs of this vintage. The seat adjuster has a couple of teeth missing, and so some drivers might find the position uncomfortable. The car does need to be repainted. The previous owners did some less than desirable body & paint work. The A/C belt is off. The A/C Compressor does turn but the idler pulley is seized up. 2013 Honda Civic WTCC is ready for racing
Wed, 06 Mar 2013Drumming up a little excitement for the 2013 FIA World Touring Car Championship, Honda brought its new Civic WTCC car to the bright lights of Geneva for all to see. Honda joined WTCC late last year entering the final three races. The racing outfit will run this year's entire 12-round season, which kicks off later this month in Italy.
In the off-season, Honda made a few updates to its WTCC entry including better aerodynamics, improved suspension and braking and numerous engine and turbo enhancements. Two teams will field the new Civic racecar in this year's season: Honda Racing Team JAS and a private team from Hungary, Zeng"o Motorsport.
Fans of the WTCC in the US will be pleased to know that series makes a return visit to Sonoma Raceway on September 8 for the Race of the United States.

Honda NM4 concept motorcycles channel Akira
Fri, 21 Mar 2014Honda has rolled out a pair of new motorcycle concepts at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in its home market of Japan, and they're our first glimpse at the company's "neo-futuristic" NM4. Shown in both stealthy black and an eye-catching white, the NM4s are sharp creations that feature interesting riding positions.
Honda calls the concepts' seating "the cockpit position," claiming that it unifies bike with rider. We don't know about that, but we will admit that compared to most sportbike seats - which are more or less just bits of padding to squeeze between your legs - these bikes' saddles look more or less like conventional seats. Honda says that their backrests are adjustable, which should provide a comfortable riding experience. Still, with these bikes' sporting looks, we can't imagine their low seats are going to be great for dipping knees through the bends (although the should lower the center of gravity, so perhaps it's a wash).
Both show bikes, NM4-01 and NM4-02, are powered by 745-cc, two-cylinder engines, while dual-clutch transmissions are employed to dispatch unspecified amounts of power to their wide rear tires. The bikes are nearly identical save for different colors, but the NM4-02 features an integral set of hard panniers for increased utility. We've got a gallery of both, so hop up above and take a look.
