All service items up to date including timing belt and waterpump change,Brakes completely redone, new coolant flush and battery. 70K actual certified miles car has sat for about 2 months probably could use A transmission fluid change, thats the only service that is due that has not been done shifts a little "slugish" to me at first not bad, called Honda dealer and they said" it needs fluid change service it only holds 2.5 quarts but it takes special Honda fluid and at that low of a mileage on the car it could not be serious they go 300,000 miles sometimes" Also he told me to drive in D3 in town instead of D4 because the overdrive in the transmission could be at the speed point I was driving and may try to shift back, So I read the owners manual and it makes since, shifts better this way but still I think it needs to have the service done anyway. Does not smoke or use oil engine is smooth as new. Beautiful little car tires look new drives like A dream.Very comfortable would be great on trips I bet.Sometimes check engine light comes on and then goes out no codes stored and no difference in how it runs previous owner said it has always been that way runs excellent 34 MPG is what I personally averaged on one drive. Has factory air and factory am fm cassette stereo needs antenna mast repaired NON SMOKER.Thanks for looking please call Wayne at 859 509 7671 after 4 eastern time if you have any questions. $100.00 paypal deposit at end of auction and balance due in cash or wire transfer before car is picked up. clear title will help ship (buyer pays all shipping expense) ALL BIDDERS PLEASE NOTICE I had the transmission service done today transmission is great. The Honda tech told me what I thought was "slugishness" was the lock up torque converter doing its job in 4 th gear. I am not very familiar with Honda cars I was just trying to be honest

Honda next to open museum to Google Street View
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Had your fill of tooling around the Lamborghini Museum on Google Street View? Maybe Italian supercars aren't your thing? Then we've got good news, because The House That Ferruccio Built isn't the only automotive museum in cyberspace: now the Honda Collection Hall has opened its doors to the crew from Mountain View, too.
The Honda Collection Hall, for those who haven't made it out to Japan's Tochigi Prefecture, is a grand three-story museum dedicated to all things Honda. It's located at the Twin Ring Motegi, and has been open since 1998. Inside visitors will find everything from robots and scooters to SUVs and racing cars. But if you can't make it there in person, you can check out all three levels of floorspace on Street View right from the comfort of your home. Check out the images above and the interactive map below.
Toyota, Mazda drop Takata as Mitsubishi, Subaru weigh options
Sat, Nov 7 2015It's not a very good time to be Takata right now. Fresh on the heels of longtime partner Honda ditching them, Toyota and Mazda have both come out and said they will not use the company's airbag inflators if they continue to rely on ammonium nitrate. Bloomberg reports that Subaru and Mitsubishi are also contemplating a divorce. "The inflator using ammonium nitrate produced by Takata will not be adopted by Toyota," President Akio Toyoda said during a briefing today. "What's most important above anything else is the safety and peace of mind of customers." Mazda echoed that position, simply saying it "will not use Takata airbag inflators which contain ammonium nitrate in our new cars." When you lose three huge OEM accounts in as many days, it's certainly going to have a deleterious effect on your fortunes. In Takata's case, that's meant a staggering 39-percent drop in their share price over the last three days. Yesterday alone, the company saw a 6.2-percent fall, Bloomberg reports. As the business publication reports, though, Takata isn't going down without a fight. The company is "considering some plans to survive," including a fundraising plan that will see it potentially offer up additional shares for sale. Still, at least one analyst doesn't see whatever company survives staying involved in the airbag inflator business. "I really don't see how they're going to be able to survive as an inflator manufacturer," Valient Market Research founder Scott Upham told Bloomberg. "When your major clients publicly come out and say that they're not going to use your products anymore, it makes this very difficult to sustain your business." 2015 Honda Fit set for Detroit reveal
Thu, 19 Dec 2013We've got one more debut confirmed for next month's Detroit Auto Show, as Honda has announced that it will be showing off the 2015 Fit in the Motor City. Honda has released a singular image of the new Fit's rear taillight, above.
From the sole image, we can see that the American-spec Fit will share at least its taillights with the Japanese variant, which we've helpfully included an image of to the right. Now, technically, the blue car to the right is the Fit Hybrid, a car we aren't expecting to see in the US market. But the gallery of images we've included below should give those interested in the car a very good idea of what the new Fit will look like when it hits the auto show stage next month.
As for what will be under hood when it debuts in January, Honda is touting its Earth Dreams Technology engine, which we take to mean some sort of four-cylinder, gas-powered mill. Expect excellent fuel economy from the new car, and according to the Japanese brand, "leading-edge connected car technologies."
