Honda Civic Ex Sedan 4dr: Black Automatic, Heated Leather, Premium Sound Loaded! on 2040-cars
Saint Joseph, Missouri, United States
This is a slick 2008 Honda Civic EX. Incredible gas mileage -- 36 mpg on the highway and 25 mpg in the city. Currently has 88,772 miles. Title is clean. I am the second owner. Mechanically, this car is superb. Running like new. Fresh alignment a month ago, and new brakes and tires within the past 6 months. Had it detailed about a year ago. Has always undergone routine oil changes. Everything works -- power windows, moonroof, stereo, aux input, AC/heat, cruise control, keyless entry, etc. Only issue is the back right door opens fine from the outside, but not from the inside. This car is loaded with extras as well: Premium sound system + wired for amp/subs Premium wheels Tint job Leather seats Heated seats Cosmetically, this car does suffer some dings and scratches, as well as a sizeable dent in the front left fender from a flatbed trailer backing into it. (It MAY be possible to pop it out on a nice hot day this summer.) Also, the leather on the center armrest is starting to crack. Nonetheless, a very sharp looking car. Thank you for looking and please let me know if you have any questions! |

1964 Honda SM600 roadster gets elemental in Jay Leno's Garage
Mon, Dec 22 2014Honda has made a handful of sports cars in the past, with examples like the Acura NSX and Honda S2000 standing as noteworthy examples. But before either of them came along, there was the Honda S600. And Jay Leno has a beautiful example from 1964 in his garage for this latest video installment. The inspiration for the new JDM S660, the original S600 came out in 1964 – which just happened to be the same year that Honda broke into Formula One. And you can hear that relationship when the dual-chain-drive 600cc inline-four revs up to its 9,500-rpm redline. It may not have had the power of contemporary British roadsters from MG and Triumph, but it had plenty of character. When Leno got a hold of this one – a top spec SM model – he and his team took it apart nut and bolt, powder-coated the chassis, resprayed the body and put it all back together better than new. But you'll want to hear Jay tell the story himself in this fifteen-minute video clip. News Source: Jay Leno's Garage via YouTube Celebrities Honda Convertible Classics Videos Jay Lenos Garage
Red Bull F1 denied access to Honda engines
Sun, Oct 25 2015There are four engine manufacturers in Formula 1: Ferrari, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, and Renault. Infiniti Red Bull Racing ended its marriage to Renault, got to the altar with Mercedes and then Mercedes backed out, couldn't even agree on a pre-nup with Ferrari, and Honda flat-out said, "No." At the moment that has left the four-time World Champions without an engine for next year, owner Dieter Mateschitz threatening to take his two teams and four cars out of the sport, and F1 honcho Bernie Ecclestone threatening to sue Mateschitz if he does. The Japanese company had turned down the idea because after a first year with some poor performances and a few public sour notes, it wants to get McLaren's cars running properly before it expands its operation. Now it seems some behind-the-scenes action of late has opened up channels between Red Bull and Honda, and the two are at least talking. Honda, though, still says such a deal is highly unlikely at best, and Red Bull says it will have something to say when something is done. It appears that McLaren chief Ron Dennis, however, has vetoed the idea. Ecclestone says Honda made a deal with the FIA that would allow Honda to supply two teams in its second year, but Honda gave Dennis veto rights over who the second team would be. For the same reason that Mercedes backed out and Ferrari only wanted to sell Red Bull year-old engines, Ecclestone says Dennis might view Red Bull as a competitor and doesn't want to risk two more cars getting in front of his own. If that's the case and Red Bull is going to remain in the sport, it might need to hit the flower shop and book a trip to Renault headquarters. Soon. Related Video:
