This is a 2002 Honda Civic color is gold and dark cloth interior. It has only ever had 1 owner. My wife has owned this car since high school and has been driving it since 2002. The car has 179k miles and drives great. The car does look like its 13 years old, it has many small dents and scratches all around. There are 3-4 door dings and scratches on the driver side that are hard to see. The windshield does have a large crack in it on the lower passenger side (about 6-8 in long in a few directions), does not affect drivers view though (you may want to change the windshield though).
Also the AC needs a service, it has been going in and out for the past few month and now does not work. We don't know what the problem is and are not going to spend any money as we just want to buy a new car; it could be a cheap or expensive fix, dont really know. The car is and has been fully maintained on a regular basis. It has already had the timing belt and water pump service at around 120k. It has factory floor mats which were an extra option and a CD player. Also replaced the spark plugs around 130k. Oil is changed every 4k. Tires have a lot of tread left on them. It will need a tire balance and alignment and new windshield wipers, but those are all very simple fixes. We would do it, but are not going to put any money into it as we are going to purchase a new car soon. We just drove this car from ATL to Arizona and back a few months ago, that's how reliable it still is. EVERYTHING else work PERFECTLY! Power windows, engine, transmission are all running very strong. The car also has never been in an accident in 13 years, it has been in a couple of tiny fender benders and the bumper was replaced but never any major replacements at all. I have added a few pictures. Please text email or call if you want to see this car over the weekend.
Non smoker, no kids, no stains on seats or floor.
This will make a great first car for a young driver.

Latest Honda promo film is a Never Ending Race against emissions
Sun, Feb 16 2014A new Honda promotional video shows clips of a hazy, smog-choked Los Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s, and then gives the company credit for its lead role in cutting vehicle-emissions by a factor of one thousand since 1970. Self-serving? Sure. Then again, this LA-native reporter born in 1970 can't help but be somewhat appreciative. The nearly five-minute video takes a tour through Honda history, showing the Japanese automaker using its experience designing race cars to help develop smaller engines such as its four-cylinder CVCC. An early proponent of California's Clean Air Act, Honda recounts its low-emissions history with the first production low-emission vehicle (the 1996 Civic) and the first production ultra-low-emission vehicle (the 1998 Accord), and says it's approaching "near zero emissions" for its new cars. For anyone keeping track, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said late last year that Honda's 2013 model-year vehicles averaged an even 27 miles per gallon, and that's with a fairly limited number of hybrids and plug-ins sold. That number was up from its 26.6 mpg in 2012 and second only to Mazda's 27.5 mpg among the major automakers. The overall 2013 average was 24.0 mpg. Honda installs 3-minute, fast-fuelling hydrogen fuel station in California
Fri, Mar 7 2014OK, but let's see how well Honda can control hydrogen refueling temperature in Houston or Buffalo. That's what some pessimists may be saying now that the Japanese automaker has installed a fast-fueling hydrogen station in the oh-so-temperate environs of Torrance, CA. That city is about 20 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles and a sliver of it actually touches the Pacific Ocean, so we're not talking about wild swings in air temperature here. Honda is calling its fast-refueling platform the MC Fill (we'd expect a lawsuit if it was McFill, even though that'd be clever) and says that filling up takes about 45 percent less time than the typical hydrogen-refueling station. That's because the system monitors the ambient temperature in order to speed up the process. There's more scientific stuff in there - for example, the fact that the MC name comes from the "two key values in a heat transfer equation- 'M' for mass and 'C' for specific heat" - but the long and the short of it is that a hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle can fill up in less than three minutes. That's pretty impressive, despite the distinct lack of vehicles needing to charge that fast today. Honda unveiled its FCEV Concept vehicle at the Los Angeles Auto Show last November. The five-seat vehicle has a range of more than 300 miles, while its fuel-stack power density is about 60 percent higher than its previous version. The production version is due to arrive in the US in 2015. Check out Honda's press release below. Honda R&D Installs Advanced Fast-Fill Hydrogen Refueling Station -- New station on Honda R&D Americas' Torrance, California campus built in anticipation of Honda's next-generation fuel cell electric vehicle, due in 2015 -- Honda-developed hydrogen refueling protocol significantly reduces fill time TORRANCE, Calif., March 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Preparing for the 2015 introduction of the next Honda fuel cell-electric vehicle (FCEV), Honda R&D Americas has installed a state-of-the-art hydrogen refueling station on its Torrance, California campus. This advanced station will serve as a platform for demonstrating and validating the enhanced hydrogen fueling protocol developed by Honda, named the MC Fill. With the aim of standardizing this new protocol, Honda will make the new research station available to other automakers to further validate the MC Fill protocol's performance and functionality.
