AC tensioner belt pulley decided to fall off one day so the AC doesn't operate, but is not broken. Never repaired because I never used the AC anyway. I still have the pulley if you want to belt it up again, or if you want to do the type-r pulley conversion and rip the AC out all together. Its up to you. I just never got around to it. Front lip and grill clip were stolen. Didn't replace because I didn't want to have them stolen again. previous owner glued something on the dash and still has glue residue left on the dash. Became impossible to remove. ac vent is cracked in the center console also by previous owner. car has rust."

Up for sale is my 99 civic Si. Bought in 2006. CLEAR TITLE. 209,600 miles. Car has its age, but has a great motor. ORIGINAL CLUTCH with plenty of life left. Shows the love I had for her. Ready to go for another 100,000 miles and beyond!

Has AEM air intake, DC sports 4-1 header, HKS hi-power cat back exhaust. Car pulls very hard and is quick. Has the VTEC sound you're looking for. No rice here. Neuspeed springs(green) with Tokico blue shocks. Equipped with the much needed Short Shifter. Stock rims were sold off by previous owner and the type r valve cover was added also by the previous owner. Make no mistake it is a B16A2. Tires have a lot of tread left. Also have set of 98 civic dx wheels included with the car: 2 tires with like new tread and 2 tires with wear.

This is the most sought after Honda. A collectors item to the enthusiast. Half of them have either been wrecked, stolen, or molested. It was an honor to keep this on the road. Hopefully you'll do the same. I love this car. Forced to sell by family, friends, and for an image change

Senna's McLaren drives Honda up the wall

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

Honda is getting excited for its imminent return to Formula One with McLaren. So excited, in fact, that it got its new/old friends from Woking to loan it one of its old F1 cars. But not just any old F1 car...
On display at the Honda stand in Frankfurt this year is the 1988 McLaren MP4-4 in which the legendary Ayrton Senna drove to fifteen out of sixteen grands prix that season to take the championship in spectacular style.
Honda provided the engine for that car, a 1.5-liter turbo V6 with upwards of 600 horsepower to propel less than 1,200 lbs. Of course this being a static display car, it's likely been stripped of its engine, gearbox and most other internal mechanical components. But that doesn't make the sight of it any less memorable.

Honda demonstrates driverless valet parking system with special Fit EVs

Sat, 26 Oct 2013

There are many challenges that will need to be sorted out before full autonomous driving becomes a reality, but automakers are taking small steps toward this advancement with semi-autonomous technologies. Nissan, Toyota and Ford have already revealed various automated driving systems, and now Honda is getting into the game with an automatic valet parking system that was unveiled recently at the Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) World Congress in Tokyo.
Unlike Ford's recently demonstrated self-parking Focus, which is fully operational on its own, Honda's new system requires input from the parking lot via cameras. Combining information provided by the car's rearview camera as well as cameras positioned around the parking lot, drivers are able to drop their car off at a central location, and using a touchscreen display, the car can park itself and return when the driver is ready to leave. The benefit of this is that multiple cars can be parked at the same time and no additional sensors (other than a backup camera) are needed for the car, but the downside is that it can only operate on properly equipped parking lots. According to Honda's demonstration, this system can be practical by 2020.
Honda also showed off some semi-autonomous driving and non-contact electric vehicle recharging technologies at the ITS World Congress, although information is limited and there are no demonstrations available. Scroll down to read more about Honda's latest tech, including a video demonstration of the automatic valet parking system.

Petrolicious profiles an 'original fanboy' and his 1987 Honda CRX Si

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Christopher Hoffman is a guy I'd like to meet. He's profiled in the latest installment of Petrolicious, titled Original Fanboy, because of his love and dedication to his 1987 Honda CRX Si. And that's something I can relate to.
My personal car is a black 1988 Honda CRX Si. Road & Track executive editor Sam Smith sold it to me in December 2010 with some 93,000 miles on the odometer (and one bum tire!), and though I don't drive it nearly as much as I should, I'm madly in love with my little Honda. I take immense pride in owning this car, despite my recent neglect. As soon as we're done with this Polar Vortex crap here in the midwestern United States, I'm going to pull the CRX out of its wintertime storage and show it the love it deserves.
Like me, Hoffman fully understands the beauty of the CRX. It's not super powerful, or even quick (when it was new, its 0-60 time was just over 9 seconds), but it's extremely light, and comes from an era when Honda was churning out brilliantly simple cars. The steering is incredibly precise, the transmission perfect, and the chassis superb. Nearly 26 years after its birth, I adore every moment behind the wheel of my CRX. And thanks to this Petrolicious special, I know I'm not alone. Scroll down to watch the full episode.
