I bought a brand new lock cylinder for the car because the car was stolen before and the lock cylinder was busted, but I have not had the lock cylinder welded on. Being the lock cylinder is not the stock cylinder the keys to start the car is different than the one to open the door. The passenger side window track needs to be fixed. The window rolls half way down but will move slowly at times because the track needs to be adjusted. There is a crack on the windshield but will not go any further because it was stopped. The hood of the car has a small hole. I believe the exhaust has a leak but not sure. The pole that holds the hood up was broken. The car was red before and was painted black about 6 years ago. The car has been sitting for about a month and we have tried to start it but the alternator belt is screeching and slipping so the battery is not fully charging. And with the heavy rain it makes the belt slip more. So the car will start but it needs a new alternator belt because it drains the battery and shuts off. I believe the car will start with a boost or with a new alternator belt put in but I have not had the time to put work into it. This car has never given me any problems when I drove it, I guess being it has been sitting for about a month it just needs some minor work to get it moving. These are small problems as the engine is strong and will run I just don't have the time to put the work into the car like I used to. So the car is being sold as is.
Other than the minor repairs and will run for a very long time!
If you have any questions let me know!

Honda celebrates the life of Ayrton Senna the best way it knows how
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Honda is returning to Formula One in 2015 with McLaren, and when that engine maker and that F1 constructor are mentioned together, two other words are never far behind: Ayrton Senna. There are engine suppliers, constructors and drivers that have bigger numbers, but those three form a triumvirate that came close to defining F1 in the eighties.
Honda Japan has produced a commercial called Sound of Honda that celebrates Senna at a race that turned out to be one of the most momentous of his career for good and bad reasons: the 1989 grand prix at Suzuka where he won, then was stripped of, the driver's championship.
The commercial has a terrifically simple premise - there's no CG, no old footage of Senna, no one says a word, it's just sound. And it's pretty damn good. Check it out below.
Honda Accord Hybrid falls well short of 47 mpg, says Consumer Reports [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014Do not poke Consumer Reports with the hybrid fuel economy stick. That seems to be the lesson illustrated here yet again. The Honda Accord Hybrid is the latest to arouse the ratings bear, returning "just" 40 combined mpg in CR testing. Even so, that makes it "a class leader for fuel economy among midsized sedans," besting even the Civic Hybrid in CR testing, but that's still a lucky roll of the dice short of its EPA rating of 47 mpg. Remember, it was back in December 2012 that CR knocked the Ford Fusion and C-Max hybrid models for the exact same failing: certified with an EPA-rated 47 mpg but delivering "just" 40 mpg.
Beyond that, while the Accord Hybrid earned a lower overall score than the traditional gasoline Accord because of its ride, handling and refinement issues, it gets unqualified applause from the institute for its "very impressive hybrid system."
It will be interesting to see if CR's findings will negatively impact the model's sales, which to this point have been impressive enough that demand is outstripping supply. In the meantime, you can check out CR's brief video review of the Accord Hybrid below, and check out the magazine's press release chiding its mpg rating.
McLaren-Honda goes 8-bit in Turbo Heroes
Sat, Oct 3 2015Formula One is all about speeding forward, but it's not without its spats of nostalgia – from retro liveries to a return to turbo power. Take, for example, this latest animated short from the McLaren-Honda team. It's called Turbo Heroes, and it sends us back to the days of our childhood in the 1980s and 90s in glorious 8-bit form. Part Street Fighter and part Aryton Senna's Super Monaco Grand Prix, Turbo Heroes is a game-style video short – the start to a series from the looks of things. It portrays an epic battle in which basic animated versions of Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso (coached by a grumpy Ron Dennis, no less) chase the evil Exhaustus in a race to recover the fabled (and equally fictitious) Jade Dragon of Suzuka to its rightful home in Japan. It's brought to you by the same team responsible for the Tooned series that was targeted at today's kids, only this one takes a decidedly different aesthetic approach. If you grew up around the same time as many of us here at Autoblog did, and got a kick out of films like Kung Fury and Scott Pilgrim vs The World, you'll probably enjoy this one. So put on your snapback, grab a can of Jolt Cola, and crank the ghetto blaster you've got hooked up to that Nintendo Entertainment System for a high-speed race down memory lane. You don't even have to blow in the cartridge.
