This car has given me many years of pure pleasure with its superior Honda engineering and dependability. It is in excellent condition with a very clean engine, recent tune-up and complete inspection by a licensed mechanic who declared it to be in much better condition than he would have expected a car of its age to be. It has low mileage, 89,324 and has the original paint and upholstery with some expected dings and scratches. The removable T-top makes it a car that gets a lot of attention particularly because Honda is no longer producing this automobile. I am the sole owner of this car since purchasing it in St. Louis, Missouri in 1994. Unfortunately, because of having moved to the New Mexico mountains and living at 9000' I am unable to drive it much of the year due to snow and ice and so decided to sell it rather than letting it sit and age. The tires are in very good shape and it has a new battery. Whoever ends up with this snazzy car can look forward to many years of pleasure. I don't smoke so it is free of tobacco smell.
Transportation of this car will be the buyer's responsibility but am willing to consider making arrangements for its sale and transfer through Pay Pal.

Honda overhauls North American operations with eye towards more autonomy
Mon, 25 Feb 2013The increasing sales success of Honda North America (HNA) has led to Honda brass in Japan reorganizing regional operations here. The management shuffling here and in Japan is intended to both streamline and confer more responsibility on HNA "as the region assumes a larger role in shaping Honda's global business," and as Honda builds more facilities that serve several roles in the product development pipeline.
Honda's executive vice president and president of HNA Tetsuo Iwamura was named COO of automotive operations, taking over a position that had been handled by company president Takanobu Ito. Iwamura's new role puts him in charge of anything Honda makes that has four wheels, which Automotive News says equates to 78 percent of the company's global revenue.
The current company CFO, Fumihiko Ike, will fill the now-vacant role of company chairman and Kohei Takeuchi will take his place. Takeuchi is presently the operating officer, general manager of the accounting division. The executive swaps take effect April 1, 2013.

Honda Concept B Hybrid production version coming to China in 2016
Mon, 21 Apr 2014At the Beijing Motor Show this weekend, Honda took the wraps off of the Concept B Hybrid, a "new-value concept" that will apparently do its level best to get the Japanese automaker back into the entry-level gas-electric game. Powertrain details for the five-door concept hatch are noticeably absent, so we are assuming that what Honda wants with this concept is for us to focus on the looks. Honda says the car's exterior design is "advanced and cool-looking." We like the shape, but think a few changes will do wonders for the production model.
If the busy front end gets turned down a bit in production (it's especially glaring from the front), we can see this becoming a darn good replacement for the Insight at the lower end of the hybrid price spectrum. Sadly, for now, Honda is saying that the mass-production model that uses the Concept B as a foundation will be available "exclusively" on the Chinese market in two years.
Speaking at the Beijing show, Honda president and CEO Takanobu Ito continued to look for ways to green his company's line-up, and said Honda, "will strive to become number one in complying with Chinese CAFE regulations, which are the toughest in the world, and offer a new lifestyle for Chinese customers." Come 2016, that new lifestyle could look like the car you see in the gallery above. Think it's a good one?
