I have a 1993 Honda Civic Hatchback VX Model. Manual 5 Speed. It has aftermarket headers, Exhaust (Its loud). Car is lowered on custom springs. Duckbill Wing/ Spoiler. M3 Mirrors. Custom One piece Black Headlights. Hood with vented scoop (Plasti Dipped). This little pocket rocket can move. Previous owner made sure this was going to be a swapped race car. Clutch and tranny are excellent. The car has custom vents molded on the side of the vehicle, along with a custom fiberglass body kit (side skirts, front and rear bumper) also molded on. The trunk is plasti dipped from the previous owner, so it can be removed.  No AC, which is common with engine swaps to make it even lighter. Interior is in decent shape. Has no radio. Wires are all ready to go, especially for a sound system cause the previous owner had one in it. Kill switch wire under the steering wheel. 17 inch chrome wheels that were plasti dipped. Tires have excellent tread. It has an aftermarket alarm with the kill switch.

Bad:

- SRS light is on but can be shut off easily with the paper clip method..check youtube, very common
- The car is ready for a paint job unless you like it primed. Inside of the car shows it was painted bright orange. Under the hood its blue.
- Fiberglass does have some cracks

All in all this is a great project car. Its not perfect but runs and drives good just needs TLC. Everything that needs to be repaired is COSMETIC. Customize it the way you want. Plenty of parts on here that can be sold. Please remember one thing, this Honda Civic Hatchback is CLEAN TITLE and RUST FREEE ARIZONA CAR....I REPEAT RUST FREE!!!

Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha to make swappable motorcycle batteries

Fri, Mar 26 2021

Just as electric cars are becoming ever more common, the alternative propulsion system is starting to make headway in the motorcycle sphere. Companies such as Harley-Davidson and Zero already have electric models on sale, but other established brands are preparing for the electric future. Among them are the four big Japanese bike builders (Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha) who have a plan to improve electric bike adoption, and make their bikes very appealing. The four companies created an organization back in April 2019 for this sort of purpose called the Swappable Battery Consortium for Electric Motorcycles. And the group has now announced that the manufacturers have agreed on the specifications for motorcycle batteries that can be interchanged among each company's motorcycles. So if you have a Suzuki, you can use a Honda battery, or vice versa. This idea presents quite a few interesting possibilities. The manufacturers could sell bikes with or without batteries, since you might already have a battery from your previous bike, or just another one you own, so you wouldn't have to shell out to buy an entirely new battery. If, for whatever reason, you needed a replacement battery, it should be easy to get one, since the same type would support bikes from a variety of manufacturers. The pipe dream of battery swapping stations might even be feasible because of the standardization and support. And having the batteries relatively easy to remove could be good for apartment dwellers, since they might be able to bring a battery inside to charge. The manufacturers haven't said exactly what the specifications are for these interchangeable batteries, nor when they'll be implemented. But we'll be eagerly awaiting more information in the future. Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]

Mon, 27 May 2013

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

2016 Acura NSX aimed at Ferrari 458 for the price of Audi R8

Wed, 08 Oct 2014

Acura has done a good job of keeping the next-generation NSX under the wraps for the past few months, especially after a fiery little incident during testing at the Nürburgring earlier this year. But UK's What Car? recently got a chance to speak with development boss Ted Klaus, and he unleashed a few new details about the much-anticipated supercar to make it even harder for us to wait.
Among the info was a strong estimate of the NSX's performance potential. "We have to achieve the type of acceleration that the customer is achieving with the Ferrari," said Klaus to What Car?. "More importantly we have to achieve this every day and also at the Nürburgring." Assuming Acura's supercar is as actually quick as a 458 Italia, then it could hit 60 miles per hour in around 3.5 seconds.
Klaus also claims that the wickedly fast performance could come at a relative bargain for the class. The price is reportedly being benchmarked against the Audi R8, which would put the NSX around $130,000 in the US. While hardly cheap, it would still be a healthy discount off a 458.
