So I bought this car back in 2007 and I rebuilt every moving part on the car. Everything works, it smogs in California, runs well after I bought a brand new carb. The engine has been gone through, along with the brakes, cooling system, A/C has been rebuilt and charged (The relay went out this week, but I'll show you how you can fix that) Distributor has been rebuilt with new points, dwell set and the timing is set correctly along with idle. I'm a collector of these cars, and I have lots of them so I'm looking to sell some of my belongings. I'm in the process of downsizing and I'm looking to send the car off to someone who's going to take care of it and get enjoyment out of it. My reserve is fair market value for the car, I'm open to offers as long as they are in line with market value. Good luck bidding guys!

Why buy my car? Because I've already done the hard stuff, put AC in, put a 5 sp in, got it running perfectly, interior, paint, new tires, refinished wheels. There's not so much done that you won't have anything to do on it, but enough left to do that you'll have a great time with it finishing the restoration or just driving to work and back.

Honda opening first new motherland plant in almost 50 years

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Despite opening dozens of overseas plants in the past several decades in locations all over the globe, Honda Motor Co. has not expanded its car manufacturing capabilities in its home market of Japan since opening a facility in Sayama back in 1964.
But all of that is set to change this July when Honda opens the doors to a new assembly plant in Yorii, about two hours north of Tokyo. According to Bloomberg, the new facility has a projected annual capacity of 250,000 vehicles. The plant is part of the automaker's reorganization efforts, plans that include scaling back its older Sayama plant and bringing Yorii online with more efficient and innovative technology. There are additional benefits, too, as the Yorii plant is expected to create 3,800 jobs, both on-site and at its suppliers, and boost the local economy as other businesses ramp up to accommodate the influx of new workers.
While the automaker has not released specifics about which models will be produced at Yorii, Honda is expected to consolidate production of models including the Fit, a best-seller in its domestic market.

Honda recalls nearly 10,000 new Civic models over pinched tires

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Honda is recalling some 9,816 Civic LX coupes and sedans from the 2014 model year due to a potential tire problem.
According to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration notice, the safety problem stems from an installation problem at a supplier, which may have caused the tire bead to become pinched between the steel wheel and the mounting equipment. As a result, tire beads may have been damaged, which could result in a loss of pressure, a condition that could lead to an increased accident risk, or at least an increased risk of being stranded and late for work.
Honda spokesperson Chris Martin tells Autoblog, "Only about 1,800 of that 9,800 have been sold because we caught it so quickly. The majority of them were in transit or unsold at dealers."
