I've been driving this car every single day for the past 3 years with zero isues. It is, after all, a Honda Civic in the end.

MANY pictures here: http://smg.photobucket.com/user/todaparty/library/EM1%20For%20Sale?page=1

I have a very detailed and specific thread detailing different purchasing scenarios here: http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=3132151

Basically it is a 2000 Honda Civic Si with a motor from a Japanese version Integra Type-R (1.8L DOHC VTEC, 11:1 compression ratio) along with the 4.785 final drive ratio, 5-speed, limited slip differential transmission from the Japanese ITR.

It has been tuned on real engine management, the motor is internally stock with a K&N drop-in filter, a Toda racing REPLICA header w/ 2.5" collector to a 200 CPSI high flow cat to 2.5" stainless tubing, magnaflow resonator, and a REAL Hytech exhaust for a high flowing, super quiet system.

It has upgraded suspension, an Integra Type-R Front brake rotor/caliper conversion, and a bunch of other small minor modifcations to basically make the car a Type-R in Si clothing. Very fun little car that gets 28-30 MPG COMBINED. I also tuned it to run on 89 octane (lol I'm cheap) - it can be easily adjusted to run 91 or 93 octane.

EVERYTHING works. Power windows, sunroof, power locks, power steering, air conditioning, heating, the blower motor, blinkers, brake lights, head lights, reverse lights, dash lights, dash light dimmer switch, the radio (Alpine CDE-133BT).... like I said, I drove this car every day with zero issues. It will come with the original factory B16 ECU so you can pass your state's inspection. I also have the OEM catalytic converter if you need it for some reason.

Please see the linked thread above for all the details. This is a quick summary for Ebay purposes.

The starting and Buy it Now prices in this auction DO NOT INCLUDE the following items (but they can be included for an additional cost)

- Bi-Xenon retrofit headlights (car will come with original factory headlights)

- European Accord Steering Wheel w/ gold "H" emblem (car will come with original factory steering wheel and airbag)

- Volk Te-37 wheels (car will come with acura integra 15x6 4x100 "sunflower" wheels and serviceable tires)

These were our favorite cars of 2022

Tue, Dec 20 2022

Favorite cars is different than best cars. The idea of "best" can speak to value and overall competitiveness in a given vehicle segment. There's lots of objectivity involved and to do a "best" list right, one really must be very thorough and as scientific as possible. This is not that list. This is about our favorites, so objectivity be damned. If we liked a Challenger Hellcat because it made loud noises or a Honda Odyssey because it made for a particularly special family vacation, fair game. These were the cars that most spoke to our collection of editors and the ones that stayed in our minds and hung in our hearts long after they left our driveway. — Senior Editor James Riswick 2022 GMC Hummer EV Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder: I didn't particularly expect to like the new Hummer. I wasn't a fan of the Hummer H2 or H3, so I wasn't automatically enthusiastic about this electric reboot. Fast EVs aren't hard to come by — and, in fact, may be too easy to come by — so its performance specs weren't enough to win me over. Despite videos to the contrary, pickups aren't my favorite vehicular format. And its excessive size and weight turned me off ... until I finally got behind the wheel.  This thing is wildly entertaining to drive. Watts to Freedom launch control is a neat party trick, sure, but the novelty wears off quickly. The novelty of Crab Walk, however, has staying power. The rear-wheel steering makes this behemoth feel much smaller than it is — the maneuverability is incredible, and useful. The air suspension provides tons of clearance, including a ridiculously high-riding Extract mode. I can't wait for lesser versions of the Hummer to make their way to market. Give me less power (for less money), but keep the off-road tricks onboard, and I'll be a happy camper. Senior Editor, Consumer, Jeremy Korzeniewski: If I could afford to put one of these in my driveway, I would. Sadly, I can't, so I won't (What's that, Janet? I got the lyric wrong?). Still, I love the dumb thing. Thankfully, I have another choice down below. 2022 Porsche 911 GT3 Associate Editor Byron Hurd: Yeah, duh, Porsches are good. But there's good, and then there's GT3. This is the feeling every performance-oriented RWD tuner is trying to replicate. This is hard, precise, surgical and immensely satisfying. To begin to explore this car on a public road is by itself an admission that you believe yourself to be above the rules as they apply to normal drivers.

Acura already planning NSX Type R?

Wed, Jan 14 2015

Acura just took the wraps off the production version of its long-awaited new NSX, but rumors are already circulating of an even hotter version to follow. Meeting up at the Detroit Auto Show this week, Auto Express asked the NSX's chief engineer Ted Klaus about the prospect of a Type R version in the future, to which he reportedly answered: "I think everyone who loves cars wants to see a version that we say is pure red. The NSX has always been silver first, moving towards red later. Someone asked me, 'when will you be satisfied?' Probably never. What you do today, you can improve on tomorrow." That doesn't mean that tomorrow will actually come tomorrow, but it does speak to a spirit of improvement on the NSX team that could stand to keep the American-made Japanese supercar on the knife's edge and out in front of the competition, which Klaus identified as including the Ferrari 458, Audi R8 V10 and Porsche 911 Turbo. The previous model bred the NSX-R two years after its release (in the Japanese domestic market anyway), benefiting from a 265-pound weight reduction, a stiffer suspension, and though never officially confirmed, a long-suspected bump in output. Driving the Honda Ridgeline and marveling at Tesla | Autoblog Podcast #638

Fri, Jul 31 2020

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Associate Editor Byron Hurd. They start off talking about why more people should buy the Honda Ridgeline, because it's a pretty darned good truck. Next, Byron talks about some Hyundais. He shares his experiences with the 2020 Sonata Hybrid and talks briefly about the prototype 2021 Elantra currently occupying his driveway. Up next, Jeremy shares his feelings about the BMW X1 crossover he spent some time with, prompting the gang to mull over the notion of BMW's modern interpretation of "Ultimate Driving Machine." After that, Byron talks about towing his 1990 Mazda Miata with the 2020 Infiniti QX80, and then they wrap up with some discussion of the mystery surrounding the Ford Maverick and some comments on the current state of Tesla.
