This beautiful ONE OWNER Honda was purchased by my wife and I.  She drove it and it was always garaged in our attached, heated garage.

All maintenance was completed on time, so no break downs or walk homes.  At 12,000 miles we switched to Amsoil Synthetic oil and filters.

Free flow perm. air filter was installed.

Newer Michelin tires keep this car on the road.  New brakes and rotors about 500 miles ago.

Shocks, timing belt, water pump, battery, all changed on time.

Look at the pictures; this car shines better than the day we picked it up because it's well taken care of.

Yes it has a ding in the hood the size of my thumb nail as seen in the photo, why? Because I wanted it original.

Yes it has a few scratches in the rear bumper, same reason as above, not even a fender bender in this 100% original body panel and paint car.

We would drive this for another 150K miles but I work at Chrysler now and need to support my employer.

Interior, very clean. No tears or ware in the seats, head liner or trim. It had a sheep skin seat covers on it for it's entire life, I just removed them.

The wind shield is new, the old one had cracks.

The RH plastic rocker cover has had that slice in it since 2003, I ran over a garage door track and it was sharp as a razor. again original, $80 fix.

AC/Heat, Trans, cruise, power windows, stereo, everything... all work great.

It's NOT for sale locally.

This is a buy it as is, where is.  Come see it, ask questions, it was just detailed as it is every July, October, February, and May.

There is a very small exhaust leak that was found by my certified mechanic when he did the brakes a few months ago. He said don't bother fixing it, it is just too small.

The clock light is out but the clock works fine. That light went out in the first 12,000 miles and I never had a need to fix it.

No shipping or delivery set up by me.  500 bucks paid by paypal within 24 hours after the auction end is required, the rest can be paid in cash or we can meet at my bank where you can transfer/wire funds to my account. When my bank says the cash is there, you get the keys and title to this beauty.

This car and the title will not leave my possession till I have cash in hand, no checks, promises, IOU's, or trades.

NHTSA gives okay for three automakers to skirt tire-related recalls

Thu, 25 Jul 2013

BMW, Honda, and Mercedes-Benz are all going to avoid small recalls, after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration issued petitions for "findings of inconsequential noncompliance" to the three manufacturers, according to Tire Business. Basically, the petitions allow the brands to avoid recalls for some very, very minor issues.
BMW had tire placards on 364 X6 M CUVs that stated the car could only handle four passengers, when in reality it had room for three in the back. Actual plausibility of fitting three real humans in the slope-roofed Bimmer aside, the Munich-based manufacturer argued it was inconsequential, as the placards were correct regardless of the number of passengers.
Honda's case focused on 212 2011 and 2012 Acura TSX sedans equipped with 18-inch wheels. The TPMS systems on these cars were set for 17-inch wheels, rather than the larger hoops, but even with the lower settings, the tires maintain adequate load capacity.

Red Bull F1 denied access to Honda engines

Sun, Oct 25 2015

There are four engine manufacturers in Formula 1: Ferrari, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, and Renault. Infiniti Red Bull Racing ended its marriage to Renault, got to the altar with Mercedes and then Mercedes backed out, couldn't even agree on a pre-nup with Ferrari, and Honda flat-out said, "No." At the moment that has left the four-time World Champions without an engine for next year, owner Dieter Mateschitz threatening to take his two teams and four cars out of the sport, and F1 honcho Bernie Ecclestone threatening to sue Mateschitz if he does. The Japanese company had turned down the idea because after a first year with some poor performances and a few public sour notes, it wants to get McLaren's cars running properly before it expands its operation. Now it seems some behind-the-scenes action of late has opened up channels between Red Bull and Honda, and the two are at least talking. Honda, though, still says such a deal is highly unlikely at best, and Red Bull says it will have something to say when something is done. It appears that McLaren chief Ron Dennis, however, has vetoed the idea. Ecclestone says Honda made a deal with the FIA that would allow Honda to supply two teams in its second year, but Honda gave Dennis veto rights over who the second team would be. For the same reason that Mercedes backed out and Ferrari only wanted to sell Red Bull year-old engines, Ecclestone says Dennis might view Red Bull as a competitor and doesn't want to risk two more cars getting in front of his own. If that's the case and Red Bull is going to remain in the sport, it might need to hit the flower shop and book a trip to Renault headquarters. Soon. Related Video:

Alonso and Button try out Honda's Uni-Cub mobility scooter

Thu, Feb 12 2015

As two of the best racing drivers in the world, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button have some pretty serious wheels at their disposal. They'll both be driving the latest McLaren-Honda MP4-30 on the track this year, will likely have access to supercars like the new Acura NSX or McLaren 650S for toying around with when they're not working, and probably each have an enviable motor pool of their own at home. This, then, must have been quite a change of pace for them both. As you can see from this video tweeted by McLaren, the two highly accomplished F1 drivers hopped on a very different set of wheels recently: namely, Honda's Uni-Cub "personal mobility device." The experimental electric motorized bar stool is controlled by shifting your weight to and fro (like a Segway), but stands just two feet tall and tops out at less than four miles per hour. At that rate, it would take them almost an hour to take one lap around the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX, where the 2015 United States Grand Prix will be held in October. In that same time span, for perspective's sake, they'd be lapped more than 30 times by their rivals... so they'd better stick to the racing machinery once the championship gets under way. What happened when @alo_oficial and @JensonButton got hold of a UNI-CUBAcA?A¦ https://t.co/YP8r9z1OsG - McLaren (@McLarenF1) February 10, 2015
