2013 Honda Accord EX-L V6

Approx. 3300 Miles
(I will be continuing to drive it until it sells but extra mileage will be minimal)

I purchased it in mid March brand new from my local Honda dealer

I have always owned SUV's but fell in love with the styling and handling of the Accord.
Unfortunately I need the added cargo capacity of a SUV due to my work, so my loss is your gain.

Drives like a dream! Fully loaded!

The only option it doesn't have is navigation

Exterior Color:  Modern Steel Metallic

Interior Color:  Light Gray

Some of the more notable options are:
Power Front Seats
Heated Front Seats
Bluetooth Phone & Music Streaming
Power Windows
Smart Key Entry
Dual Zone A/C
Backup Camera
Blind Spot Camera
Sunroof
Forward Collision Warning Sensors

Also has dealer-added options of:
wheel locks
rubber trunk mat
Floor Mats
splash guards

There are certainly many more options, these are just what I can remember right off

It's in perfect condition with no scratches, dings, signs of wear, etc.
Anything you might see in the pictures is nothing more than dust and/or road grime.

It's been garage-kept; I don't smoke, have no kids, and no pets
I will also have it professionally detailed before turning it over to you!

Side Note:  The car is partially financed through Honda. It will be paid off prior to sale and clear title will be given.

I will be happy to meet you at an airport near me (New Orleans, Gulfport, Jackson) if you'll be flying in to buy it.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm sure there's been a lot left out; I don't do this too often.

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards

Tue, 27 Nov 2012

Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:

Senna's McLaren drives Honda up the wall

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

Honda is getting excited for its imminent return to Formula One with McLaren. So excited, in fact, that it got its new/old friends from Woking to loan it one of its old F1 cars. But not just any old F1 car...
On display at the Honda stand in Frankfurt this year is the 1988 McLaren MP4-4 in which the legendary Ayrton Senna drove to fifteen out of sixteen grands prix that season to take the championship in spectacular style.
Honda provided the engine for that car, a 1.5-liter turbo V6 with upwards of 600 horsepower to propel less than 1,200 lbs. Of course this being a static display car, it's likely been stripped of its engine, gearbox and most other internal mechanical components. But that doesn't make the sight of it any less memorable.

McLaren collaborating with Honda future road cars?

Fri, 02 Aug 2013

McLaren and Honda may expand their alliance beyond the world of Formula 1, according a report from the UK's Autocar, which quotes McLaren CEO Martin Whitmarsh.
Citing the multi-year deal, Whitmarsh remarked at last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix, "It's a pure Formula 1 contract, but we've already been looking at automotive technology and we're sharing that very openly. Our road car strategy at the moment has no other automotive partner and Honda would be a good place to collaborate."
Still, we wouldn't count on seeing a McLaren-Honda road car in the near future. According to Autocar, McLaren's road-car division is already tied up working on a rival for the Porsche 911, called the P13.
