2006 Honda Accord Ex Sedan- Loaded, V6, @ Speed Manual!!! Must See on 2040-cars
Hookstown, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for sale is a 2006 Honda Accord EX, V6 with a sought after 6 speed
manual transmission. I bought this to be my daily driver and my wife
wishes to have fewer cars in the driveway for this coming winter and I want to buy a E92 M3 so a few of our cars need to go! It
has the following options:
EX V6 6 Speed Manual Transmission (Rare for a V6 Loaded in a Sedan!) 4 door Dual Power Leather Seats Dual heated seats Dual climate control Power moonroof Premium Sound System 6 Disc Changer XM Radio 17" wheels New Tires (See Photos, less than 3,000 miles on them) New Water Pump and Timing Belt (last 6 months) Fresh oil change-Pennzoil 0w-20 Full Synthetic Car has 121,000 miles Engine has 101,000 miles -Previous engine had a spark plug come apart and fall into the previous motor and threw a rod bearing and crank bearing. I have never seen this happen before, if you know these motors, you know they are bulletproof. All receipts will be provided upon test drive/sale. Purchased from Foreign Automotive Parts in Pittsburgh from a rear end totaled V6, 2007, coupe. Full motor was replaced in one piece, it was not disassembled in any way. Feel free to have it inspected by any mechanic of your choice at your cost before purchase if you would like. -Fresh Honda Fluids Throughout -Honda Blue Coolant -Honda Manual Transmission Fluid -New front brake pads-last 3,000 miles - Just drove 1400 miles to NC in the car, it drives perfect. Recently had an alignment at PepBoys. Averaged 29.2 MPG highway on the trip down through the hills of WV, which is very good for a V6. The car is very nice overall for a 2006 and it is a pleasure to drive. If you are local to Pittsburgh, feel free to contact me to drive it. Mileage will increase as I drive it 50-100 miles daily. -The exterior is a 7.5 out of 10, it has a few dings as any 8 year old car would have. No rust present in any way, it is a very clean car. There is a small dent in the front passenger quarter panel and plastic rocker panel. It is not badly creased and there is no paint missing from the quarter panel, but I want to be up front and honest about the car. The interior is in great shape, no tears or major wear marks in the leather. The steering wheel is slightly worn on top from normal use, but is more cosmetic than anything. The car is clean, TITLE IN HAND $500 DEPOSIT DUE IMMEDIATELY UPON PURCHASE!!! Four-One-Two-638-6623 to call or text. Please ask any questions and for additional photos prior to purchasing if you are unsure of anything. Thank you. |

McLaren and Honda rekindle a winning combination
Fri, Nov 28 2014With the 2014 Formula One World Championship now drawn to a close, all eyes are fixed on next season. And for both McLaren and Honda, that means the dawn of a new era – or hopefully, the return to one bygone. After twenty years running Mercedes engines, McLaren is switching back to Honda next season, rekindling the most successful partnership the once-dominant team has ever had. Immediately after swapping to Honda power in 1988 – and with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost behind the wheel – McLaren entered its winningest era, racking up four consecutive world championships. In the two decades it's spent under Mercedes power since, it won three drivers' titles and one constructors', leaving the relatively brief Honda era as its most successful. It was also the most successful for Honda, which had enjoyed success with Williams and some with Lotus, but far more with McLaren – the likes of which it was never able to recreate. The Japanese automaker that was the first to break into the Euro-centric series left grand prix racing when it left McLaren, and despite returning to fund its own team for the better part of a decade, claimed but one checkered flag before calling it quits again. Whether the new collaboration will return both outfits to the winner's circle remains to be seen, but we're looking forward to finding out. In the meantime, after releasing a couple of images from the video shoot last week, McLaren has put out this minute-and-a-half video clip showing the MP4-29H running a few laps around Silverstone, marking the official start of what could be the second reign of the McLaren-Honda dynasty. Honda Urban SUV Concept leaks out ahead of Detroit debut
Sun, 13 Jan 2013Next up on the 2013 Detroit Auto Show embargo-break-a-palooza: the Honda Urban SUV Concept. Thanks to Indian Autos Blog, we now have the first press shots of the small crossover concept - a vehicle that will someday make it to production, riding on the Honda Fit platform.
It may have some big features - namely, the large headlamps, big wheels, and bold body lines - but the Urban SUV Concept will compete with smaller vehicles like the Nissan Juke or Fiat 500L. Indian Autos Blog reports that both 1.6- an 1.8-liter four-cylinder engines are being speculated for use in the production model, as well as a diesel powerplant for foreign markets.
That's all we know for now, but stay tuned to see the full smattering of official images and details as part of this week's Detroit coverage.
Honda S660 set for Yokkaichi production next year
Tue, 06 May 2014Roadsters, you might argue, are best when they're small and nimble. If you're thinking of the Mazda MX-5 Miata, you're on the right track, but there have been even smaller ones: pint-sized, three-cylinder roadsters like the Daihatsu Copen, Suzuki Cappuccino and Smart Roadster. But the most iconic and enduring of them was surely the Honda Beat.
Designed by Pininfarina, the Beat was - not unlike the F40 was for Enzo Ferrari - the last car approved for production by company founder Soichiro Honda. It complied with Japan's strict Kei car regulations and packed a tiny, naturally aspirated 656 cc that produced just 63 horsepower. The cult classic ended production in 1996, but six months ago Honda hinted at a revival with the presentation of the S660 concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. Now it seems Honda - or Yachiyo, we should say - is gearing up to put it into production at the same factory that produced the Beat two decades ago.
That plant is the Yokkaichi factory, a facility owned by Yachiyo Industry Co., Ltd. that builds small cars on contract for Honda. It was slated for a major expansion a few years ago until Honda shifted some of its small car production to its own plant in Suzuka, but continues to build the N series of boxy, upright hatchbacks, as well as small commercial vehicles like the Life and Vamos lines. The reintroduction of a small roadster line to the factory's output sometime in 2015 will undoubtedly be a cause for celebration in Yokkaichi. For our part we can only hope that American Honda CEO Tetsuo Iwamura gets his way and manages to bring the S660 to the US in the near future.
