For sale is a 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid that runs and drives very good. I've been driving this car 150miles one-way back and forward every other weekend for the last two years. I've never been stranded. This is a great car for any person who wants a hybrid to save on gas with V6 power and plenty of room..

The 3.0L six cylinder electric/gas engine purrs along without a miss, smoke or fluid loss. The hybrid system is working perfectly. It charges and assists as necessary and the auto stop engages when stopped. No "check engine" or IMA warning lights. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The brakes, steering and suspension are in good condition. No exhaust leaks.

The exterior is a glossy gray. It has a few scratches and the three small dents mentioned above but nothing major. No body rust. The windshield and door glasses are crack free. There is a quarter inch hole in mirror cover of the passenger side. (see pic). The lights and lenses are clear and crack free. The tires are new. The factory alloy wheels are in great condition. The interior is gray carpet and leather seats. The front seats are heated. All seats and the carpet are in excellent condition(see pic). Vehicle had just been detailed cleaned. (see pic). All the power options such as cruise control, windows, side mirrors, etc. work as designed. There are steering wheel controls for cruise and audio. There is a factory sound system with a six CD changer. The climate control (heat and AC) are working perfectly.

This is a great Accord Hybrid that is just as fuel efficient as the newer high priced models and seems to have a lot more years and miles left. The new owner should be able to drive anywhere with confidence.

Honda Gear concept explored at Montreal Auto Show

Our friends at Autoblog Canada have just come away with a closer look at Honda's surprise Gear Concept at the Montreal Auto Show. The little three-door hatchback is arguably the automaker's first real shot at the North American city car market (the Gear is much smaller than the Fit) and may be an indication that Honda is getting serious about going after Scion on this side of the world after the CR-Z hybrid failed to deliver. Honda says the Gear Concept takes its inspiration from the fixed-gear bicycle scene, and should allow buyers an unprecedented level of customization. Designers also wanted to show that a car can be both fun and practical.
We're all for a compact stylish three door with functional room inside, but given Honda's propensity for draining the personality from its concepts on the way to production (at least the ones that don't look showroom ready), we don't hold much hope for the Gear. Honda launches Project Drive-In to save these American icons

Honda wasn't really a major player in the automotive industry when drive-in movie theaters were popular in the US, but the automaker is doing its best to preserve the place where automotive and cinema histories collide. Using Project Drive-In, Honda is helping bring awareness to a story we brought up last month, where we saw how a move away from 35-millimeter film could put some of the few drive-in theaters remaining in the US out of business.
As production studios switch to digital film, theaters are required to upgrade to digital projectors, which Honda says will cost about $80,000 for drive-ins. While Project Drive-In asks people to donate money to the cause or pledge to go to a drive-in theater, Honda will also be donating projectors to five of the remaining drive-ins based on votes received on its website. Honda Jazz Prototype is brand's latest production-ready 'concept'

Another auto show, another Honda "prototype." The brand has made something of a habit of showing very thinly veiled production models at the world's auto shows, ranging from the Accord, to the Civic and Civic Type-R, as well as the CR-V. And yes, this is far from the first time we've railed against this particular trend (it's not even the first time at this auto show). Now, it's time to preview the production-ready Jazz, known to American consumers as the recently released Fit.
As we covered in our original post on the Jazz Prototype, this car is pretty much a twin to the Fit, aside from its 1.3-liter engine. Sitting in place of the US-market 1.5-liter four-cylinder, the Earth Dreams 1.3 is probably a bit more suited to the tighter urban environments of the European Union. While the engine might be different, the six-speed manual and continuously variable transmission will be plenty familiar to US consumers.
