Amazing, 2005 Honda Accord EX Coupe 2-Door, 3.0 liter, V6, 240 horsepower

This is a rare, manual V6 coupe.  Very well maintained.  Freshly waxed and detailed.  I loved her and so will you!

*Manual 6-speed Transmission*

Odometer 76,205 miles (may increase during sales process)
Exterior:  Black (Nighthawk Black Pearl)
Interior:  Black (with leather trimmed, perforated seats)

It breaks my heart to part with this loyal girl, but I bought a new car and need to sell it.  This is a new listing.  I will continue to update ASAP with as much detail as possible.

I am the second owner of this car.  I bought her in 2006 with less than 4,000 miles.  Almost all work on the car has been at Honda dealerships.   All Honda recommended service has been completed.

I have the title in my possession.  Completely paid off.  Non-smoker, no odors.

January 2013 @ 73,863 miles:  Four new tires, oil change, routine transmission service, four wheel alignment

Some of my favorite features:
Manual transmission
Leather trimmed seats
Premium 180 watt stereo
Exclusive Honda 17" alloy rims
Heated, front seats
Dual climate control
2 key remotes, with alarm system
6 disc, in-dash CD player
Aux audio input (Only aftermarket product installed, see photo)
Steering wheel controls (radio, cruise control)
Moon roof, with tilt feature
Power driver's seat, power locks, power windows, power mirrors
Leather trimmed doors
Dual exhaust

All photos are current.  I uploaded 24 photos.  I have taken a tons more photos, including close ups of the cosmetic blemishes.  So I can email you more.  accordV6sale@gmail.com

As is.  No warranty.  As a used vehicle, there is normal cosmetic and mechanical wear.

She has only been in one accident, last year, when the bumper, hood and passenger headlight were damaged.  No engine damage occurred.  Completely repaired at the Honda dealership with Honda parts.  The result was a new hood, front bumper, and passenger headlight.  I have all the paperwork showing this.

Known issues:
Various external body dings, and scratches.
In-dash CD box does not close (located below radio controls and in front of gear shift).
Wheel rims have been curb-scratched.
Button for passenger seat heater does not illuminate.
Large wear spot on driver's floor mat.

Consumer Reports says these are the worst new cars of 2014

Thu, 27 Feb 2014

Consumer Reports has announced its annual list of worst vehicles, a cringe-inducing contrast to its list of top vehicles. Ignominiously leading the way in 2014 is Chrysler, which has a staggering seven models listed.
Jeep nearly sweeps the small SUV segment by itself, with its Compass, Patriot and 2.4-liter version of the new Cherokee, while the only midsize sedans listed by CR were the Chrysler 200 and Dodge Avenger. The new Dodge Dart and the Dodge Journey round out CR's condemnation of Chrysler.
Ford is taking heat as well, with the Taurus, Edge and their counterparts from Lincoln all listed as the worst vehicles in their respective segments. Toyota doesn't fare much better, with its Lexus IS, Scion iQ and tC also making the list.

Honda invests $470 million for new transmission plant in Mexico

Fri, 03 May 2013

Honda has announced that it has made an initial investment of $470 million to build a brand new transmission plant in Ceyala, Mexico. For those keeping track, this is the same city that will also house Honda's new automobile manufacturing facility, which will begin production of the Fit compact beginning in the spring of 2014.
This new transmission plant is expected to come online in the second half of 2015, with an annual production capacity of 350,000 units, though that number is expected to double in the years following the plant's opening. With a 700,000-unit production capacity, Honda says a full 1,500 new associates will be hired at the Mexican plant.
Honda will specifically use this new transmission plant for the production of CVTs for automobiles built in Mexico, as well as for cars produced in facilities around the world. It stands to reason, then, that since the next-generation Honda Fit will be built right around the corner from these new CVTs, the small hatchback - which is expected to grow into a full family of vehicles - could be fitted with continuously variable units in the future.

Honda Walking Assist Device begins US testing at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago

Sun, 17 Nov 2013

For years, we've been wondering what implications Honda's Asimo robot could have in the real world, and now we're starting to get a sense of that. Honda announced that it will begin its first US clinical studies of the Walking Assist Device at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in an effort to provided improved mobility for people who have suffered a stroke. While the automotive tie-in here is pretty weak, this is the first time we've heard about this device since it was unveiled back in 2008.
Weighing in at six pounds, Honda's device is fitted to the waist and legs of patients to make it easier to walk, and the 22.2-volt lithium-ion battery provides enough electricity for more than an hour of operation. According to Honda's press release, which is posted below, up to 80 percent of the almost 800,000 stroke victims each year (in the US alone) are afflicted with limited mobility, so a medical aid like this could have a big impact in the real world.
