2004 Honda Accord Coupe Ex V6 2 Door 6 Speed Leather on 2040-cars
Roanoke, Texas, United States
|
Up for sale is my 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 coupe. Currently the car has 135406 miles but may be slightly higher as I still drive the car. Overall mechanically the car is in great shape. Great first car and super reliable. Tires are in good shape, new power steering pump, hoses and fluids. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. This car is a 6 speed manual. Car has ice cold AC, power windows, power locks, heated seats, electric sunroof / moonroof, cruise, and tilt. Car came equipped with premium sound however the cd changer recently stopped accepting disks. All other functions including the XM on the radio work fine. The biggest issue with the car is the paint. On the trunk and the roof, the clearcoat has begun to fade and peel... supposedly common on the black and dark green colored Honda cars. Car has zero rust, just 9 years of Texas summers has taken a toll on the clear coat in spots. There are 3 small cracks on the base of the passenger seat... Again black on black in Texas is the culprit. Only other known issue is the airbag light comes on sometimes. I was told it was the sensor in the buckle on the passenger seat but haven't been bothered to fix it. Again, this is a very smooth running and great car with no mechanical issues what so ever. Please take the time to review all attached photos of vehicle. This vehicle has no warranty expressed or implied. Car has a clear Texas title. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will help load the car but it is up to the buyer to coordinate any logistics. A $500.00 PayPal deposit is due within 48 Hours of auction ending and the balance is due prior to pick up or delivery. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns. Good luck and happy bidding.

Honda demonstrates new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian safety tech [w/video]
Fri, 30 Aug 2013We're fresh from a balmy rooftop deck in downtown Detroit, where Honda held a meeting this week to discuss and demonstrate a few upcoming advanced safety features. A clear focus of the mini event was the company's new Vehicle-to-Pedestrian (V2P) technology, with a suite of Vehicle-to-Motorcycle (V2M) tech a significant second course.
With spirits still high from announcing the 2014 Odyssey as the first minivan to win the Top Safety Pick+ status from IIHS - and after seeing the application of new high-strength-steel sections of the Acura MDX body structure - Honda shared the fruits of some safety tech that is still in the research phase.
'Tornado' at Rose Bowl Fan Fest wreaks havoc on Honda display
Fri, Jan 2 2015California's been host to some oddball weather for the past few years - particularly oddball, even for California, that is. An example of which struck again during the Honda Fan Fest at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on New Year's Eve. A robust dust devil – labeled a "tornado" by the anonymous videographer – planted itself among the stands and then rolled across the lawn, twirling several vendor stands and an inflatable tent around in the air, seemingly damaging some new Honda and Acura models that were on display where some attendees had sought refuge. Thankfully, no one was seriously hurt, but four people were treated for injuries - probably including the committed Fan Fest worker who tried to grab a flying canopy and got spun around and thrown to the ground. Which is kinda the way Oregon treated Florida State. We had to watch it twice, because the first time, we couldn't take our eyes off the cow. Check out the chaos in the video above. Honda Civic Hatchback Luggage Test: How it compares with sedan and Integra
Fri, Jan 13 2023Well, we have a first here at Autoblog Luggage Test HQ: the first time I've done the next-generation of a make/model that's already been luggage tested. I know, right, very exciting. So, for the first time, I'll be able to report how a vehicle compares with its immediate predecessor. As this is the Honda Civic hatchback, I can also show you how it compares with the Honda Civic sedan and the mechanically related Acura Integra. So. Many. Comparisons! In short, the Civic is a definitive example of why you can't really compare the cargo volume figures of a sedan and a hatchback (or wagon, SUV or other hatchbacked vehicle). The specs say the hatchback has 24.8 cubic-feet of space whereas the Civic sedan has 14.8, yet as I'm about to show you, the sedan actually has more space for holding bags or whatever. This is already a phenomena I covered with the Integra and its 24.3-cubic-foot trunk. Apparently, that half a cube makes a difference as it was indeed easier to load bags into the Civic hatch. Top Civic hatchback, bottom left Civic sedan, bottom right Integra Some key observations here with this trio. The Civic sedan is 4 inches longer than the Civic hatchback, almost all of which is behind the rear axle. This lends its trunk greater length than the hatchback, which is more useful for stuffing in luggage. The Civic hatchback (and Integra) have more height, which balloons the cubic-foot number, but doesn't really provide much help in this test since I don't pack to the roof for safety, visibility and consistency reasons. If you lower the back seats, it's a whole different ballgame, but I'll get to that later. Now, to the bags. As in every luggage test I do, I use two midsize roller suitcases that would need to be checked in at the airport (26 inches long, 16 wide, 11 deep), two roll-aboard suitcases that just barely fit in the overhead (24L x 15W x 10D), and one smaller roll-aboard that fits easily (23L x 15W x 10D). I also include my wife's fancy overnight bag just to spruce things up a bit (21L x 12W x 12D). You can really see the difference in trunk length here. In the sedan (above right), you can fit the small roller bag behind the four biggest bags lined up. Definitely can't do that in the hatchback above left. In short, all the bags fit in all the cars (with some asterisks). It was a much easier fit in the sedan, though, and you can see that there's some extra space on either side of the egg-crusher hinges.
