2003 Honda Accord EX 6 cylinder with leather and moonroof. this is may daily driver so milegae will be slightly higher bu the end of the auction. Leased new in 2003 and purchased at the expiration of the lease. Well maintained with many receipts. As an example, replaced the front and rear rotors, pads, struts, front end bushings and stabilizer links at a cost of $1,900 in 06/2012. Transmission was replaced with a rebuilt unit from Honda at 79,000 miles - I had the transmission fluid changed at Jiffy Lube and they used the wrong fluid with caused the original transmission to fail. Lots of mileage left on the Bridgestone Potenza tires. Extremely reliable, comfortable car that is good on gas with plenty of power. Honda has recalled the six cylinder Accords because heat from the engine compartment could cause the power steering hoses to fail. I have an appointment at the local dealer to perform the service recall tomorrow, 04/16, so, by the end of the auction, this recall will have been dealt with. Will be due for an oil change after another 1,000 miles. I've tried to show all of the dents, dings and scratches in the photos; please look at the photos carefully and ask any questions before bidding. I am selling this car because I purchased an AWD vehicle. A non-refundable deposit of $100 via PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. If you are the winner, pay the deposit and decide, for whatever resason, you can't complete the transaction, you are out $100 which compensates me for taking the car off the market, relisting, etc. If you don't agree with the terms, please don't bid. I reserve the right to cancel any bids from bidders with fewer than 10 feedbacks and/or negative feedback. I will answer any questions as quickly as possible but I'm not tethered to my PC all day so if I don't get back to you immediately, dont panic. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Bonkers Honda Vezel headlines Mugen's lineup at Tokyo Auto Salon
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Japanese automakers and their tuning divisions have descended upon the Makuhari Messe in Chiba City for the 2014 Tokyo Auto Salon. And for Honda, it's all about Mugen.
Honda's Japanese Domestic Market tuning division brought a series of modified concepts and racing cars to the salon this year, including the CR-Z hybrid touring car it fields in the Super GT series, the SF13 single-seater from the Super Formula series as well as customized versions of the Fit, Odyssey and N-WGN. But the prize for the most outrageous of them all surely goes to the modified Vezel you see above.
Modeled on Honda's new Fit-based crossover, the Mugen Vezel Concept goes further than the versions we've seen until now. It features a bonkers body kit, dual exhaust, brake upgrade, sport suspension, intricate 20-inch alloy wheels and an upgraded interior. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you're feeling still interested, you can check it out in the gallery above, along with the announcement below and the specs on Mugen's website.
Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values
Tue, 18 Mar 2014We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. The full list of recommendations is available on CR's website.
Honda Ridgeline to take two-year dirt nap before resurrection
Sun, 14 Jul 2013Three years ago, Honda said there would be no new-generation Honda Ridgeline coming in 2011. In late 2011, when there was still no word on a replacement for the little truck that's been carrying on pretty much the same since 2006, within the space of a month both Honda's US truck planner and the CEO of American Honda said the Ridgeline would continue and that it was an integral part of the lineup.
But that doesn't mean it can't take a two-year timeout. A report in Ward's Auto says that the Lincoln, AL plant that builds the Ridgeline will cease its production in September, 2014 and a new one won't arrive until 2016. That's a walk-back from when the plan was to have the current truck run until a week before the next-generation truck went into production. Even so, Honda still says the Ridgeline isn't going away forever, a company spokesman telling Ward's, "Ridgeline continues to be an important part of our lineup."
2016 is a long way away, though, and we all know how quickly a product line put into a coma can end up suffering fatal consequences. Even though we keep talking about the Ridgeline, perhaps what Honda is actually saying is that the small pickup market is important to them, and they're working on a way to take better advantage of it than the Ridgeline was doing. We'll find out one way or the other in three years.
