2002 Honda Accord Se Coupe 2-door 2.3l on 2040-cars
Pompano Beach, Florida, United States
2002 Honda Accord Coupe SE florida second owner. I bought this car just about 2 years ago for my daughter it had 90,000 miles on it and here is what i did to the car before i gave it to her, i replaced the timing belt, water pump, tensioner pully, took the head off cleaned up the valves and replaced gaskets and seals also replaced 3 motor mounts, belts, hoses and brakes. My objective was to give her a mechanically sound automobile that i knew wouldnt let her down. Six months after giving her the car i installed 4 new toyo tires at this point in time she has put on 20,000 miles and just purchased a 2014 honda accord sedan due to a growing family. I would also like to let you know that she was involved in a rear end colission, minor, the insurnace company replaced a rear bumper cover and a front bumper cover at this point i gave the body shop extra money and had the car completly re painted with the factory color which is black with blue metallic flake. This car shows excellent in and out and drives perfectly just like it should. Keep in mind this is an SE model with a sunroof full power windows, locks AM/FM Cd, Cruise control most inportantly a 4 cylinder fuel efficiant motor great on gas. Keep in mind this is a non smoker vehicle with ice cold air conditioning everything is working no mechanical issues. Based upon the work i did to the car two years ago i have built in value and relibality for years to come. For any questions about condition shipping payment please call me anytime. John (954) 815-4202 I have the right to end the aucton at anytime and you can call me also to purchase the car before the sale ends. Goodluck i hope you get this great car |

Honda CR-V spot delights with 'impossible' illusions
Thu, 24 Oct 2013Mind-blowing car commercials that employ optical illusions and jaw-clenching stunts instead of computer animation are becoming the norm these days, and everybody from Volvo Trucks to Forza Motorsport 5/McLaren are regular contributors to the growing trend. Honda joins the crowd in its latest European commercial for the CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC Diesel, and uses well-placed props and well-drawn imagery to trick viewers into seeing the "impossible."
The old-fashioned optical illusion is alive and well in Honda's "An Impossible, Made Possible" spot, so go ahead and watch it and the making-of video below.
Finalists for 2014 Green Car of the Year announced
Thu, 17 Oct 2013The list of finalists for the 2014 Green Car of the Year has been announced, and in a genuinely bizarre twist, there's only one hybrid and no electric vehicles among the five contestants, despite the arrival of cars like the BMW i3 and Tesla Model S. Taking the place of the EVs are a pair of diesels, repping a technology that last won a Green Car of the Year award in 2009, when the Audi A3 TDI took the title. No diesel was in the running for last year's award.
Naturally, both of the diesel finalists are fielded by the Germans - with BMW's 328d and Audi's A6 TDI getting the nod. In the case of the 3 Series, BMW installed a 2.0-liter, turbodiesel, capable of delivering 180 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque, while returning 45 miles per gallon on the highway. Audi and its larger, 3.0-liter, V6 turbodiesel produce quite a bit more grunt, with 240 hp and 428 lb-ft of grunt, but net a very impressive 38 mpg on the highway in the A6.
Finalists for this year's awards include two diesels, three gas-powered cars and a plug-in hybrid.
Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
