This is a Hurricane Sandy flood vehicle. Clear and clean title, but no key. Exact mileage unknown. This vehicle looks as if it was driven daily, pre Sandy. I have not tried to start, nor have I checked anything out, at all, mechanically on it. The vehicle is complete with all the parts. Buying this is a gamble. It could turn out to be a great deal for someone, but keep in mind it was inundated with salt water. The reserve is low, as it is my sincere hope someone can get a bragain, and I can make a small profit. But no return, no warrenty. Sold as is ! This is the ad that never ends
Wed, Apr 8 2015Hondas pretty much last forever, and that's exactly the message the Japanese automaker wants to convey in this latest ad for the 2015 CR-V. It's called Endless Road, created by McGarryBowen in London, and it shows the new midsize crossover driving in a hypnotic, infinite loop. According to AdWeek, this endless road is supposed to convey Honda's never-ending quest to create the best, most advanced CR-V possible. You can see a shortened, embeddable version of the ad above, but what's really cool is the interactive portion that's only available on Honda's YouTube channel. It uses real-time weather data to show the CR-V infinitely driving through day or night, depending on what's happening in your specific part of the world. Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).
