1998 Honda Accord Coupe 2.3l 5spd on 2040-cars
Springfield, Massachusetts, United States
I am selling my 1998 Honda Accord. This a 2 door 2.3L SOHC Vtec engine, the actual miles is just around 190,000 miles, but the car has 230,000 miles, I had the engine replaced at Curry Honda in Chicopee, I have all the paper work to show. I just purchased brand new tires and rims, I have an AEM intake and larger spark plug wires installed, this car is a potential beast, I had couple stuff done to increase horse power and torque such as AEM header and full catback exhaust, I have installed the stock header and exhaust in order to pass inspection. I have the catback exhaust, and extra parts willing to add with the car, also have all the stock rims with tires, I have an upgraded fuel regulator I was going to install along with a vtec controller to make the car faster, along with some fancy headlights. All this I am willing to add in with car......... There is minor scratches, and a small tear in driver seat, no check engine light, ready to go. The AC needs recharging, but I'll try and have that all done. My goal was to upgrade the horsepower to make the car really fast, but I just got a kid, and have to get a bigger car. My # is 347-401-3736, my name is Jermane, give me a call or text if interested. Absolutely NO TRADES. Price negotiable

Honda issues bizarre non-recall on Odyssey over badge placement
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Without looking under the hood or at a vehicle history report, one of the easiest way to tell if a car has had body work done is to check the location and placement of the exterior badges. A crooked, misplaced or missing badge can be a telltale sign that there has been some sort of body or paint work. For this reason, Honda is suggesting that some owners of the 2014 Odyssey take their vans into the dealership for a little rebadging.
The topic was brought to light after Consumer Reports received a notice from Honda saying that the "Odyssey" badge on its test vehicle was incorrectly installed at the factory. The badge is supposed to go on the driver's side of the liftgate (as shown above), but the customer vehicles had it placed on the passenger side of the car. Not a huge deal unless an owner is trying to sell the vehicle and the improperly installed badge leads potential owners into believing the vehicle may have been damaged in some way. Here's what Honda said in its letter:
On some 2013 Odyssey vehicles, the Odyssey emblem was incorrectly installed on the passenger's side of the rear tailgate. The emblem should be installed on the drivers' side of the rear tailgate. American Honda Motor Company highly recommends that you participate in this Product Update. The placement of the emblem may indicate that the vehicle has had repairs performed that are consistent with it being in a crash. This could affect the resale value of the vehicle.
Honda CR-V caught wearing facelift in Europe
Mon, 04 Aug 2014A few years on from its 2011 debut, the current Honda CR-V is preparing to go under the knife for a refresh. Typical of these sort of mid-cycle deals, the changes for Honda's popular CUV are minor.
The front of the car is home to the most dramatic (a relative term here) changes, with revised headlights sporting what looks like a slimmer profile. The three-bar grille has been heavily tweaked and is now a two-bar item, with a larger lower bar and a nose badge that covers both upper and lower sections.
The fascia itself has been modified with what looks like a larger lower intake, while the foglights have gone from the circular pattern of the current car to a rectangular pattern on the facelifted model. It looks like they'll still sport conventional bulbs, although the shape of the lights themselves look like a natural fit for a set of LED running lights (as is the trend).
